When Juliette Pelchat was a kid she grew up wanting to be on The Bomb Hole… which is pretty crazy because that was just a few years ago. Raised in the mountains by the legendary JF Pelchat, Juliette quickly found snowboarding and excelled. She competed for Team Canada in this past Olympics and is slowly going further and further in the back country. When you think of snowboarding you think of Halldor Helgason. You can’t have one without the other. With Icelandic roots Halldor has paved his way through the industry and cemented himself as a cornerstone of the sport. Shannon Dunn-Downing is a pioneer. She was an early halfpipe rider who pushed the limits of women's snowboarding constantly. She was the first American woman to win a snowboarding medal at the Winter Olympics when she took bronze in the halfpipe in 1998. There's no doubt that documented history is essential for progression. Mia Lambson is here to prove that. Being one of the few women filmers in the snowboarding space gave Mia a unique experience as she found her footing in the industry. Sam Anderson had some of our favorite footage come out last year.
