The conversation opens with a tender contradiction: how do you keep the best of your childish self while learning to say goodbye to what no longer fits? Adam Buxton joins us to trace that thread from DIY TV to Decca, from late-night Channel 4 oddities to the calming crunch of Norfolk gravel under foot. We talk about his second memoir, I Love You Bye, the bomb-blast of losing parents, and the quieter grief of habits shed. He’s frank about the relief of leaving social media and the lingering “voice” it left behind, and he gives that voice a name you’ll remember: Clickbait Wally. We get into why he fiercely protects audio-only conversations. Cameras change how people speak; microphones invite candour and curiosity. That belief shaped The Adam Buxton Podcast intros, the walks with Rosie, and a style of interview that feels like meeting someone at a party and gently falling in love with their mind. We map the influences—Mark Maron, Monty Python, Channel 4’s late-night culture buffet—and share why good documentaries (Turn Every Page, Thank You Very Much) can rewire the way you see power, craft, and comedy. Then the craft reveals its joy. Adam lights up about jingles and the small alchemy of turning ads into songs, where silliness meets precision. Those sketches evolved into Buckle Up on Decca and a live show that lets him fire samples, sing about unabsorbent tea towels, and savour the old dream of being in a band. There’s practical wisdom too: patience is genius; a soft answer turneth away wrath; join a band even if it’s terrible; keep going. Legacy, for him, isn’t a monument. It’s a folder of favourite work, an honest archive his children can open when they need a reminder that curiosity and kindness still count. If you enjoy smart, human conversations about creativity, loss, and the calm hidden in ordinary moments, press play and come walk with us. Effort or Outcome? Do you focus on the effort someone puts forth? Or do you look at their outcome? Just because someone does something doesn't mean you get a good result. The government is one example. Restaurant service with a guaranteed gratuity is another. In this episode, we talk about Europeans in America, legislation introduced to benefit AI companies, Israel, and more. There are artificial hurdles or governmental hurdles that sometimes must be overcome, but there is also physical limitations that can not be overcome. We also talk about competition, value, and using logic instead of emotion. Use these lessons to make your world a better place! True beauty and vitality emerge from the interstitium—a vast, fluid-filled hydraulic network where all cellular healing unfolds. This holistic guide reveals how optimizing this internal terrain accelerates recovery, supports joint longevity, and restores skin radiance. The Matrix: Collagen, Fascia, when compressed, it stores tension and stagnates lymph flow. Light Activation: Red and near-infrared (NIR) light organize interstitial fluid into highly conductive, structured layers—boosting cellular energy (ATP) and deep regeneration. Activating Regenerative Intelligence Nutrient Synergies: Natural Type I, II, and III collagen production requires key cofactors (Vitamin C, zinc, copper). Clean bone broths, eggshell membranes, and antioxidant seeds supply these essential building blocks. Advanced Modalities: Combining hands-on fascial release and lymphatic drainage with microcurrent and photobiomodulation helps break down stagnation, soften scars, and elevate systemic vitality. This week on The Vault Expert, Zahra Yagana is the expert. Zahra is an author, public speaker, and human rights advocate who has lived through abuse, displacement, and the loss of the life she worked so hard to build. During our conversation, Zahra shared her experience of living with an abusive husband and finding the courage to escape with her children. Determined to protect them, she created a safe and independent life for her family in Afghanistan. Then Afghanistan fell in 2021, and everything changed again. Zahra and her children were forced to leave their home and begin a new life as refugees. Today, she is fulfilling her dream of becoming a public speaker and using her voice to advocate for Afghan women and girls who are no longer free to use their own. Women in Afghanistan have been denied education, employment, freedom of movement, and the ability to participate openly in public life. Many cannot leave their homes without a male relative, and even speaking publicly can place them in danger. Zahra refuses to let their stories disappear. In this deeply personal conversation, we discuss domestic violence, motherhood, escape, the fall of Afghanistan, life as a refugee, rebuilding from the ground up, and the responsibility Zahra feels to speak for women who have been forced into silence. Her book, ZAN: The Woman They Tried to Silence, shares a story of pain and survival, but also one of courage, determination, and the power of reclaiming your own voice. Zahra’s story is not only about escaping the life that nearly broke her. It is about the life she built afterward—and the women she continues to fight for today. Guest: Detria Austin Everson Episode Overview What if one of the greatest leadership superpowers is something everyone already possesses? In this episode, nationally recognized servant leader, business strategist, and bestselling author Deitra Austin Everson explores how servant leadership can build trust, strengthen relationships, create healthier workplace cultures, and help people discover greater purpose. Deitra explains why service is not weakness or self-sacrifice. Instead, authentic service means using your unique gifts to improve the lives of others while honoring your own purpose. From boardrooms and classrooms to families and communities, this conversation reveals how leading with compassion, intention, and humanity can create lasting impact. Key Takeaways Service builds influence: People often remember how you made them feel and how genuinely you showed up.Servant leadership is not self-erasure: Healthy service does not mean saying yes to everything or abandoning your own goals.Purpose often emerges through action: Serving where you are can reveal opportunities and direction for your next chapter.Authentic leadership requires practice: Great leadership means living your values, not simply talking about them.Small acts can create lasting change: Everyday choices to listen, encourage, help, and create opportunities for others can transform relationships and communities. Listener Q&A What is servant leadership? Servant leadership is an approach that focuses on helping others grow, succeed, and feel valued. It emphasizes listening, compassion, trust, and creating space for others to thrive. Does serving others mean putting yourself last? No. Healthy service is not about making yourself smaller, saying yes to everything, or sacrificing your purpose. It is about using your gifts to help others while maintaining healthy boundaries and honoring your own calling. How can serving help someone discover their purpose? Purpose does not always arrive as one dramatic revelation. It can emerge through action—one conversation, act of kindness, volunteer opportunity, or person you encourage may open the door to your next chapter. Why is service so important in leadership today? People are looking for authentic leadership, genuine connection, kindness, and humanity. Service shifts leadership away from simply gaining visibility or authority and toward creating meaningful impact. What You’ll Learn From This Episode How servant leadership creates trust and stronger relationships. Why service can open doors that credentials alone cannot. How to serve others without losing yourself or your purpose. Why taking small actions can help you move through uncertainty. How to

FF: Physical vs. Governmental Constraints We have been draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in the U.S. At some point, if they drain it too low, they will risk collapsing the salt caves that store it. This is a physical constraint. Copper mines can take decades to get permitted by the government, which is a governmental constraint. We talk about many other limits, whether they are physical or governmental, and how they can affect the average citizen. Bad decisions lead to bad results. We cover AI and data centers, electric, wastewater regulations, kickbacks, and budgets. More people need to wake up and see what is happening in the world, so they can make decisions based on physical restrictions. There are many ways to make money. Investing, Incentives, and Information There is a difference between Investing and Trading as well as between Price and Value. We cover a lot of great lessons from the Rule Symposium, including about gold, silver, and mining. If you are measuring things with a rubber tape measure, you will end up with bad measurements. That is what happens when people are measuring the cost of items in dollars. We talk about how using gold instead of the dollar can give you much better information. The government and the media are great at distracting you with irrelevant information. You need to be able to discern what is important and what they are trying to distract you from seeing. We also talk about how bad incentives can encourage even good people to do things poorly. Everyone can look like a genius in a bull market. After all, you know it’s not just about money…Leisa shares... After working on the relationship I had with myself for over 20 years and then bringing these discoveries back into my relationship with money, I came to realize how common it is for many of us to get confused about what it means to truly value ourselves. More common than not, we believe our value comes from external sources like money, relationships, and beauty. However, this isn’t really what causes true self-value. Instead it comes from inside and no amount of money, or success for that matter, is going to change it. Which is why you can have all the money in the world and still feel poor inside. True freedom comes as a result of improving how you feel about yourself. Many people lose out on money, time and opportunity every day because they don’t understand how to shift the inner narrative that impacts their their peace of mind. My work is unique because it comes, from the essential knowledge in my core, from my intuition, and from my skills, which have been refined for more than two decades of practice, during which I’ve worked with thousands of clients from all over the world. I share my knowledge with those who value it and dedicate their time and energy to a greater purpose: that of knowing themselves. My approach is not mystical, it is practical. I inspire people to overcome their limitations. I believe true self-realization should generate an impact on the material dimension because that is where change can be actualized and applied. For many people, it isn’t until you go through this process that you achieve financial independence and economic freedom. Websites: www.moneycatalyst.com https://www.wealthclinic.com

TT: Coming to America In this show, the teenagers (Deven and Ethan) talked about more news on FLOCK cameras, he heat wave in Europe, and a Supreme Court decision on the constitution. And on a happy note, the teenagers brought up a whole bunch of funny and happy experiences that people had when visiting America for the World Cup. From the Scottish drinking Boston out of Samuel Adams, to huge groups of people rowing like vikings in time square. Plus a bunch of times where people were amazed at things that Americans find normal, such as free refills at restaurants, the quality of the food here, and the sheer size of stores like Walmart and Buc-ee's. Laughter can be a compass. Sitting with DeCastro—one of the world’s best-loved clowns—we step into Why Not Land, a clearing where play is protected, truth has room to breathe, and imagination outruns fear. From South London to Rio’s shoreline, she maps an art form often trivialised, arguing with warmth and precision that clowning is education, rebellion, and radical compassion all at once. We journey through the founding of the Why Not Institute, born after Slava’s Snowshow and sustained by a fierce belief that clowns are truth tellers, entertainers and subversives. The pandemic cost the Institute its physical home, but not its purpose: keep the archive alive, keep the training accessible, keep the doors open to every line of clowning—circus, theatre, street, musical, spiritual, and rebel. Along the way, DeCastro dismantles the lazy insult that calls selfish power “clowning.” Real clowns risk themselves to say what others cannot, with tenderness and wit. Her practice is anchored by “How to Be a Stupid,” a title that hides a serious proposition: the work is not technique first; it’s a state. Intensive training helps students unlearn perfectionism and step into a creative intelligence where failure is feedback and play is disciplined. We talk honour, friendship, and compassion; we talk samba beats that change your heartbeat; we talk Giulietta Masina, Wings of Desire, and painters whose generosity outlives them. There are trees with winter scarves, red motorbikes humming low through London, and bus rides where a stranger’s new phone becomes blue because a clown’s kindness tipped the scales. What remains is a living legacy. Students write years later from rehearsal rooms and boardrooms, now “stupid in charge” of their own brave choices. DeCastro wants the Institute’s next home to be near a tube and open to all, so the archive—props, films, books—can breathe and be shared. Until then, the state of clown keeps migrating: into hearts, spirits and minds that choose curiosity over cleverness and play over posturing. If this conversation moved you, subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs permission to take fun seriously. And if you can help the Why Not Institute find a new home, reach out—let’s make the land of Why Not easier to find. About Bryan Yates If you're looking for a standard executive coach to optimize your workflow, I'm probably not the right fit. I don't come from HR or corporate theory. I come from Production. I'm a former Disney producer who coaches. That means I'm always moving you toward the version of the movie you're already playing in your head. You know the one. Not the idealized blockbuster, but the grounded reality where the dialogue is clear, the scene has purpose, and the other characters move differently because you are moving differently. I help you work backward from that vision to make it real. The Lens That Shapes My Work People don't hire me for my résumé. They hire me for how my experiences shaped the way I listen, the way I see, and the way I partner into their challenges. My capacity to do this was forged in some strange places: Working with thousands of Holocaust survivor testimonies at Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation trained me to listen for what's not being said. Leading creative and technical teams at Disney taught me how to deliver complex ideas with emotional clarity. Building (and eventually ending) a boutique fitness brand taught me how to navigate the fallout when business gets personal. My actual coaching career started on the road—as a cycling coach for executive athletes. I've ridden over 100,000 miles, often pulling others through climbs they didn't think they could finish. That shows up in my work now: Pacing. Pressure. Positioning. Knowing when to push and when to recover. More importantly, it taught me to read the body language of "I can't." I've learned that "I'm fine" usually hides a very different truth. Website: https://locomotivcoaching.com
We have more ways to communicate than ever before, yet many people still feel disconnected. In this episode of The Vault Expert, Patti Katter is joined by Iqbal Najimi for an honest and lighthearted conversation about loneliness, technology, adult friendships, and the importance of real human connection. They discuss how phones can become a shield, why making friends as an adult can feel awkward, and how staying inside our comfort zones can slowly turn into isolation. The conversation also explores practical ways to reconnect, including accepting invitations, starting conversations, volunteering, finding a shared purpose, and continuing to show up even when it feels uncomfortable at first. Sometimes connection begins with something simple: looking up, saying hello, and noticing the person sitting alone.

Can you literally meditate your way to flawless, glowing skin? ✨ In today’s episode, we are diving deep into "The Healing Hive" to explore the fascinating science of psychodermatology and the mind-skin axis—the direct, bidirectional superhighway connecting your brain and your skin. Most people treat skin issues with topical serums, but true radiance starts at the cellular level. When you experience chronic stress, your nervous system triggers a hormonal flood that depletes vital minerals (like magnesium), disrupts your cellular voltage, and knocks your sodium-potassium pump out of balance—leaving your skin looking dull, tired, and inflamed. Today, we break down exactly how stress short-circuits your body’s electrical system, and how daily nervous system hygiene can downregulate your fight-or-flight response to preserve your collagen, ease inflammation, and restore your body's natural ionic balance. Stick around until the end for a powerful micro-session ritual, featuring a three-round 4-7-8 breathwork exercise, a cooling light body scan, and a deeply soothing guided honeybee meditation to completely reset your nervous system and help you glow from the inside out! If you’re ready to stop fighting your skin and start healing it from the inside out, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to the channel for more episodes! 🔔 💬 JOIN THE COMMUNITY What part of your self-care routine needs a mindful upgrade? Money Creates Possibilities Today we talk about creating generational wealth, what you can do to prepare your children to responsibly inherit and continue the wealth, and how we thought through an estate plan for our kids before we even had a lot of money for them to inherit. Many people focus on making money that they can leave to their children. Those children need to understand what it takes to make and create that wealth also. You also need to be able to prioritize your time so you also have quality time with your kids and grandkids. When you are with them, focus just on them. You can allocate other time to focusing on creating more wealth. Then, you can have quality time spent on each and share those lessons with your kids. Join us as we talk about what we did and what we have learned, so you can plan ahead for your family! https://educatingforsuccess.com/ Abolish Property Taxes in Ohio: www.AxOHTax.com Get more information about abolishing all property taxes in Ohio. https://citizensforpropertytaxreform.org/ Our Links: www.RealPowerFamily.com [email protected] 833-Be-Do-Have (833-233-6428

Noah St John https://noahstjohn.com I grew up poor in a rich neighborhood. (Yes, cliché, but totally true.) You see, I was raised in a little town called Kennebunkport, Maine—one of the wealthiest communities in New England—but my family was dirt poor. My earliest childhood memories are of my parents arguing. About what? You’re right—money (and the fact that we didn’t have any). I hated that life of poverty, fear, and not-enoughness. That’s why, from a very young age, I began a lifelong quest to answer the question: “What’s the secret of success that highly successful people are keeping from the rest of us?” One day I was browsing in my church bookstore when an audiotape set fell off the shelf and landed at my feet (I swear I’m not making that up). The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. I listened to it over and over again. I decided to become a speaker and author, so I could help people transform their lives around the world. But I didn’t know how to do that yet. Then in 1997, I had two epiphanies that changed my life… The first was “The Shower That Changed Everything” when I discovered my AFFORMATIONS® Method. You can learn more about AFFORMATIONS at Afformations.com My second epiphany was when I discovered the condition of SUCCESS ANOREXIA that causes self-sabotage and the “foot on the brake” syndrome. You can learn more about SUCCESS ANOREXIA at PowerHabitsBook.com

Lynne-Anne McGrail is the founder of A Peaceful Transition, a division of A Better You, Inc. based in Los Angeles, CA. She has a Masters degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She is certified as a Life Coach, an End-of-Life Doula (EOLD) and Doula Consultant through Doulagivers International. She also has her proficiency badge from NEDA-- National End of Life Doula Alliance. Aside from her "official" certifications, Lynne-Anne feels she has been in training to become an EOLD her entire life. She first experienced death at a very young age when her brother tragically passed away at the age of 13 in a house fire. Later in life, she experienced a rapid series of deaths—among them her best friend, her dad (after a 7-year struggle with Alzheimer’s,) and most recently, her 32-year-old niece. These experiences generated a deep understanding of the fragility and preciousness of life, and how death can serve as a magnificent teacher in the art of living well. Her true purpose in life is to be of service to both those that are terminally ill, and also their loved ones; providing emotional, mental, and spiritual support when and where needed. Lynne-Anne also believes that to have peace-of-mind at the end of life requires preparation. As such, her work in the community includes education around the importance of having a plan in place through advanced care directives, healthcare proxies, etc. These preparations can prevent and relieve enormous burdens and excessive stress in what is inevitably a stressful time for any family. She also firmly believes that the more we know and the better informed we are, the more peaceful the end of life can be for all involved. Toward that end she facilitates monthly "death cafes," casual, open and honest discussions around the end of life--free to the public--and dedicated to demystify and de-stigmatize the subject most of us try to ignore, but that we all inevitably face. Lynne-Anne feels it is an honor to serve in this way and invites anyone to reach out with any questions or comments. She can be reached at 310-367-5889.
