Postgame: Joel Embiid struggles in return as Sixers lose to Knicks

The Philadelphia 76ers welcomed Joel Embiid back to the floor in their NBA Cup game on Tuesday against the New York Knicks. But a rusty Embiid struggled and the Sixers lost to New York, 111-99. Like Embiid tends to starting a season, he struggled offensively. He finished with 13 points on 2-11 shooting, looking far from the player on an MVP pace at this time a season ago. There were some bright spots for the Sixers. Paul George (29 points, 7 threes) and rookie Jared McCain (23 points) both had big nights. But the Sixers were outmanned by the Knicks.
