Paul George goes off for a personal Sixers career-high 35 points, but it wasn't enough as the 76ers lose another nail-biter to the Atlanta Hawks 120-117. Philadelphia had a chance on the final possession to tie the game and force overtime, but Quentin Grimes' three-pointer fell short, resulting in a second consecutive loss to the Hawks. Joel Embiid turned back the clock to help the Sixers take down the Pacers 115-105. With Tyrese Maxey sitting out because of an illness, Embiid picked up the scoring slack with a season-high 39 points in the win.
