Sonny Milano scored a hat trick; Alex Ovechkin scored a net front goal and Connor McMichael also scored in the third period. The Game went to the shootout and after 5 rounds - Dylan Strome found the back of the net. Darcy Kuemper got only his second start in the month of March and got pulled. Charlie Lindgren has taken over the number one goalie job for quite some time - The Caps were looking to keep Kuemper fresh and ready to go. This was only Darcy's second game in November.
