October 9th 2020, Wade felt uneasy about leaving his pregnant girlfriend Taylor at home because she was due to be induced later that day to give birth to their daughter,  Clancy Gail.  Later that morning, Taylor got up, got dressed, and left the house around 7am, drove to McDonald's, had breakfast then drove to her friend Reagan’s house.  But as Taylor entered the house she picked up a mason jar and smashed her friend, 21 year old Reagan, over the head with it.  Taylor then pulled out a hammer and started beating her with it.   Taylor then stabbed Reagan over 100 times then sliced open her abdomen from hip to hip and removed Reagan’s unborn daughter…. *content warning*. On July 31, 2022, a car crash in Ohio left two young men dead and a teenage girl as the sole survivor. Last month, 21-year-old singer David(D4VD) was arrested in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her family reported her missing multiple times back in the spring of 2024. Then, in September 2025, her dismembered remains were found inside a Tesla registered to David. On March 20, 2012, Trey Eric Sesler, a 22-year-old YouTuber, shot and killed his parents and brother in Waller, Texas. He had planned a school shooting at Waller Junior High School after murdering his family, but while sitting in the parking lot…changed his mind. David Avendano Ballina, between the years of 1997 and 2007, ran a Mexican street gang known as "Las Goteras" the gang poisoned and robbed men, “accidentally” killing as many as 70 with simple but deadly eye drops. Ballina lived a life of crime that started at the ripe age of 6, when after he robbed and killed a woman he stopped to try some of her beef stew on the stove. We got another double header! Li didn’t stop at murder, he stabbed, beheaded, and even ate parts of McLean’s body. The police eventually arrested him after an hours-long standoff. But WHYYYY!!!???? Who was Vince Li? Why did he kill Tim McLean? And why did he eat him!? Then for the main course, we talk one of the most infamous cannibals to date, Issei Sagawa. A Japanese man claiming to have always had a fascination with human flesh. At the age of 35 he finally acts on it, killing a dutch woman that he had befriended, just so could eat her! Oh and he never did any jail time. He lived a long life and died of old age. This week we got a double feature! We kick things off with the death of 18-year-old, Anna Kepner. She was found wrapped in a blanket under a bed, surrounded by life jackets, on a cruise ship in November 2025, with very few clues as to what happened to her. Now, her teenage stepbrother has reportedly been arrested and charged….and for damn good reason if you ask us. Then we move on to another case involving a horrific incident that took place in 2019 on Labor Day in Logan, Ohio. 44-year-old photographer Victoria Schaefer was visiting Hawking Hill State Park to take photos. Schaefer had just finished and began walking back up the staircase to leave when there was an unforgettable cracking sound. Schaefer is in a heap on the staircase, not moving. Lying nearby is a large log that somehow "fell" from the cliff above. Todd Sees was a Pennsylvania man who mysteriously disappeared in 2002 only to be found dead and emaciated, 39 hrs later. Its a case that gained notoriety due to its strange circumstances, mainly witnesses reporting UFOs, a boot found high in a tree, and no signs of foul play. The Riker's Island Art Heist happened on March 1st 2003, when four prison guards had the brilliant idea to steal an original Salvadore Dali painting, although not his best work, but still, an original Dali, and replace it with an elementary copy. The Luby's shooting, also known as the Luby's massacre, was a mass shooting that took place on October 16, 1991 at a Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas. In June of 1959, in the quiet town of Stettler, Alberta. Raymond and Daisy Cook along with their five young children were found brutally murdered. Their bodies stuffed into a grease pit beneath their own garage.  But the shocking part was who police believed committed the crime. Despite no hard evidence, police arrested Raymond Cook's eldest son from a previous marriage, Robert Cook. You know the movie When a Stranger Calls? The one about the babysitter who receives a creepy phone call, and the call is coming from inside the house? Well, it was LOOSELY, based on a true story. There have been countless stories, and probably even more film depictions of a teenage girl hired to babysit, and after the children have been put to bed, the babysitter is alone, watching a movie, doing homework, on the phone with a boyfriend, whatever. Then the phone rings, the caller asks, something along the lines of “have you checked on the children lately”, the babysitter is scared. She locks the door, turns on the light to see if anyone is there, nothing. She eventually calls the police and once the call is traced, she's told the call is coming from inside the house. None of that happened in this story, but somehow this is the source of the urban legend of the babysitter. Four students hatched a plan to steal some very rare books and it became known as the Transylvania University heist in 2004, or Transy Book Heist. The plan was to break into the school's Special Collection in the Rare Books Room, swipe the books and sell them for millions of dollars….easy peasy.
