They have God all boxed up and organized in their special religion and laws. Paul and Jesus challenge that. Some look at God as a weapon to hurt rather than medicine to heal. Paul has learned better than to box God in.

Rightwing podcasters obsessed with Israel are losing their minds over Trump & Iran. In the real world, Trump's base still trusts him. Cuba's communist regime is falling. Make Cuba Great Again. Are Trump's mass deportations over before they began? Politics is the art of the possible and the art of governing is like watching sausage being made. New business startup, "Rent-a-Human" for AI agents. Meanwhile, artificial intelligence is blowing through the guardrails we haven't set up as a society while simultaneously failing wildly at basic real world tasks.

Acts 25. Paul is imprisoned. Jesus appears to him and encourages him that everything will be alright. God is sending him to Rome to declare the gospel to Caesar. But then for two years, Paul remains stuck in prison. Why does God call us to so much and then seem in no hurry at all to move us into his call? Is he giving us a vision for the work then taking his time to get us ready for all he has for us?

Iran was a paper tiger. Like Venezuela, in hours, the decades-long narrative crumbled. Trump’s attack on Iran resets the global stakes. The US stands alone as the preeminent superpower in the world, and with Trump at the helm America will aggressively lead the world. Trump is returning power to the Iranian people. The US military under Trump is unparalleled. James Carville kicks Ilhan Omar out of the Democrat party. The American public lacks historical perspective because of the liberal takeover of American education. Tariffs work. Modern society is stealing the wonder from childhood.

Acts 24. Paul is imprisoned due to political pressure from the Jewish mobs and leaders who wanted him dead. Against Roman law, Governor Felix keeps Paul under house arrest for two years, bringing him in often to talk with him and hear about the Way, but though Felix is fascinated by the Gospel, when the Truth starts cutting to close to home, Felix retreats back to the safety of worldly unbelief. But Jesus tells we are blessed when we're persecuted, because the Truth is too close for comfort, and though the crowds are uncomfortable, God rejoices in heaven.

The Supreme Court gets it wrong on tariffs, but it makes no practical difference in the real world. Trump is stronger than ever and his tariffs are reigniting the American economy. Mitch McConnel continues his fight against free, fair & transparent elections even in death. On stolen elections, Trump must lead with arrests to avoid another Epstein messaging debacle.

Beers With Jesus. Acts 23. The Jews in Jerusalem are terribly threatened by the outrageous, expanding gospel of grace preached by Paul to Gentiles all over the world. Do we ever feel threatened by the gospel in our lives? What are we holding onto tighter than God?

Both Super Bowl halftime shows were cringe till Kid saved it at the end. The Epstein files have shaken up the country. We've moved from sexualizing children to eating them, not the best trajectory for America. And yet, turning hearsay over to mob justice is unAmerican. Acts 22. The Jews hated Christians. They especially hated that Christians were proclaiming the good news to Gentiles. Instead of being about God, the Jewish religion had become about Jews. Sometimes, the people around us can see the light we see, but they aren't part of our conversation with the God of the Light.

Todd doesn't care! We were not made to emotionally invest every celebrity's life and family. 24/7 news is overwhelming our limited capacities. And always the pull of the old religion we grew up on can be hard to resist.
