In this episode of The Radiance Project, Heidi sits down with artist, writer, and modern keeper of the epistolary arts, Kathryn Hastings. Through her studio, Kathryn Hastings & Co., Kathryn creates heirloom wax seals designed to last for at least 300 years. Each seal is crafted as fine art — merging historic tools, time-honored symbolism, and meticulous innovation. Kathryn reimagines tools of devotion and communication for modern life and generations to come. Her work has been featured on the cover of Victoria Magazine, and in Veranda, Grazia, and The Art of Correspondence. She is also the host of the podcast One Sealed Letter, where she explores the history and enduring relevance of handwritten expression. In this conversation, Heidi and Kathryn explore: The sacred slowing down of handwriting Why permanence matters in a disposable age The beauty of excellence and refinement in daily ritual The power of objects that outlive us And how artistry becomes devotion Astrologically speaking, Kathryn is a Virgo Sun, Virgo Moon, and Taurus Rising — an earthy trinity of devotion, craftsmanship, and embodiment. And with Venus in Libra in the 6th house, refinement becomes love made visible. For more on Kathryn: @kathrynhastingsco, kathrynhastingsco.com Follow Heidi: @heidiroserobbins, heidirose.com
In this episode, Heidi reflects on spaciousness, commitment, and the emotional weather of our times. After a week of meeting new clients and preparing to begin a six-month class herself, she explores what it means to grow over time — and how rest, creativity, and community become lifelines in seasons of collective intensity. We are being asked to carry more than we can always name. And yet, through astrology, poetry, and the steady work of love, mountains can move. This episode weaves together current astrological shifts, stories of unity and peace, and three powerful poems that remind us of impermanence, devotion, and hope. Heidi closes with a reminder that this is not a time to go silent. This is a time to create. To love. To show up. In This Episode: Creating spaciousness without guilt Emotional processing in a rapidly shifting world Community as medicine The Saturn–Neptune conjunction in Aries + eclipse season (and workshop!) In this deeply grounding conversation, Heidi talks with beloved yoga therapist and meditation teacher Jillian Pransky, author of The Power of the Pause and Deep Listening. Drawing from over three decades of teaching and a long apprenticeship with Pema Chödrön, Jillian shares how the simple—but radical—act of pausing can become medicine for our times. Together, Heidi and Jillian explore: what it means to stop in the midst of a rushing world to meet ourselves with compassion how to listen more deeply to the life moving through us the neuroscience of slowing down how embodied awareness restores clarity why presence is a skill we can practice anywhere—especially when life feels most chaotic. This episode is a gentle invitation to soften, to breathe, and to rediscover the profound power of the pause. About Jillian: Jillian Pransky is an international yoga and meditation teacher, author, and yoga therapist who has taught at Omega Institute, Kripalu, and numerous mindfulness centers worldwide. She has studied with Pema Chödrön for more than 25 years and brings together somatic wisdom, neuroscience, and heartfelt storytelling in her work. Her teachings have been featured in The New York Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, and Yoga Journal. Resources Mentioned: The Power of the Pause Jillian's Website

This week we revisit our interview with Shannon Watts, the founder and a full-time volunteer with the nation’s largest grassroots group fighting against gun violence, Moms Demand Action. We looked at the major career events in Shannon's life, starting from the fateful day, December 14th, 2012 when the heartbreaking and tragic school shooting took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Shannon was moved to reach out via a small Facebook post to other moms who were also outraged by the tragedy and the rest is history. With nearly 10 million supporters and a chapter in every state, Moms Demand Action and its partner, Everytown for Gun Safety, have stopped the NRA’s priority legislation in statehouses roughly 90% of the time, and passed hundreds of gun safety laws across the country, changed corporate policies and educated Americans about secure gun storage. This grassroots movement helped break through the logjam in Congress and pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first gun safety bill in 26 years. Shannon is also active in recruiting and training women to run for office at all levels of the political spectrum. She was named one of Glamour’s 2022 Women of the Year and her book, Fight Like a Mother: How a Grassroots Movement Took on the Gun Lobby and Why Women Will Change the World, was released in May of 2019. Shannon's story reminds us that one person can make a huge difference in tackling what seems like insurmountable problems. Tell everyone if they want to make their voices heard about gun safety to text 64433 or go to the Moms Demand Action website (momsdemandaction.org) for ways to get in touch with your representatives. #momsdemandaction #shannonwatts #astrologyreading <a class="x1i10hfl xjbqb8w x6umtig x1b1mbwd xaqea5y xav7gou x9f619 x1ypdohk xt0psk2 xe8uvvx xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap
