Episodes
In 2015 I was sitting at over 300 pounds, my life was on a downward trajectory and I was feeling absolutely hopeless... until I took a leap that drastically changed my life. I took an internship in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and met someone that was instrumental to getting my life back on track. Over the course of my internship I took note of everything this person was doing and implemented the strategies and habits I saw him doing into my life. He showed me the what consistent hard work can do to your life. He was also about to do an IRONMAN triathlon and I thought that was absolutely crazy... but for some reason I was drawn to the idea.I left my internship with the foundations I needed to continue on with a healthy lifestyle. I consistently ate healthy, consistently exercised and consistently looked for ways to improve my life. I was in my 4th year of an electrical engineering degree and I had so many outside stressors that my previous self would have taken as excuses to give up on my journey... but this time was different. I was focused, committed and determined to change my life for good and prove everyone who doubted me wrong. In my last year of university I was looking for a challenge and decided to sign up for a half ironman, inspired by the person who changed me life. This started my addiction into endurance sports. I didn t know it at the time, but this was also the start on an amazing athletic journey.. just a couple years after that point I d be lining up at the start line of a world triathlon championships representing Team Canada. Here s the story of how that happened.YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/BrendonCamm
