A recent release of documents obtained through two Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests filed by The Black Vault in 2021 and 2022, has shed light on a briefing about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (now referred to as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena [UAP]) by the UAP Task Force (UAPTF) for NASA. Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) originally filed in June 2021, The Black Vault has just obtained the official release of an email chain involving Luis Elizondo, the alleged former head of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and Neill Tipton, a defense official who previously worked as the Director of Defense Intelligence, Collection and Special Programs. In my view, the DoD just made a major shift towards blocking the release of UAP related information, and details about the work of All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office or AARO. The United States Navy has denied the release of a classified video depicting a briefing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) led by the former head of the UAP Task Force, Jay Stratton. The Black Vault discovered the existence of the video in an email released through a FOIA case with NASA last year. In this short episode, I breakdown a few documents likely related, describing UFO "material" years after the U.S. government / military's investigation into UFOs known as Project Blue Book. The documents show that within the walls of the CIA, despite the U.S. government's public stance, officials and personnel continued to watch UFO developments. In fact, they just denied key pages in understanding the office known as the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group, or AOIMSG, along with redacting numerous other pages hiding crucial details of the effort.
