Frank Turek Responds to Candace Owens' Claims | Frank Turek

Charlie Kirk's assassination sparked an explosion of conspiracy theories. Many of those claims, amplified by Candace Owens, have accused eyewitnesses, Charlie's friends, and even TPUSA of participating in a massive cover-up.In this episode, Frank Turek responds directly.Frank was with Charlie the day he was murdered. He rode with him to the hospital. He has also become one of the primary targets of these accusations. We examine the biggest claims one by one:Was there really drone footage?Did Frank change his story about his cell phone?Did he perform CPR?What does credible eyewitness testimony actually look like? Why should Christians care about conspiracy theories? This conversation goes beyond one tragic event. It's about truth, evidence, discernment, and the biblical responsibility to reject slander, baseless accusations, and defend those who are being unjustly attacked.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAALLIANCE FAMILY SERVICESAlliance Family Services is a Gospel-centered organization that relentlessly advocates forpreborn children, women, and families by providing exceptional reproductive healthcare, Biblical discipleship, and social support.Go to www.alliancefamilyservices.org for more informationFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

Busting the Biggest Myths About Complementarianism | Denny Burk

Was Phoebe the first female preacher? Was Junia an apostle? Can women preach, teach, or host Christian podcasts? These questions are fueling some of the biggest debates in evangelicalism today. In this episode, Denny Burk joins me to separate biblical complementarianism from the caricatures. We tackle the Al Mohler controversy, the real meaning of 1 Timothy 2, whether Phoebe preached Romans, whether Junia was an apostle, and how Christians should think about women in ministry without going beyond—or falling short of—what Scripture teaches.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:WE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAAMBASSADORS FOR BIBLICAL JUSTICEEquipping Christians to live out their faith with courage, conviction, and compassion - tackling today's cultural challenges through a distinctly biblical lens.Go to www.centerforbiblicalunity.com/ambassador for more information.Mention Alisa’s podcast on your application for 15% off your tuition.RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

My Honest Review of Jen Wilkin's Women of the Word + How to Study the Bible

Is Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin a reliable guide for learning how to study the Bible? With more than 250,000 copies sold, Women of the Word has become one of the most widely recommended books on Bible study for Christian women. But does it offer a biblically sound approach to interpreting Scripture? In this episode, I take an in-depth look at Jen Wilkin's bestselling book, examining its central claims, evaluating its approach to hermeneutics, and comparing its teaching with biblical principles for handling God's Word.Along the way, we'll discuss:Why it's important to ask what a passage meant before asking what it means for us.The relationship between the mind, the heart, and spiritual transformation.Common mistakes Christians make when studying the Bible. Why context matters—and why Scripture must interpret Scripture. The difference between description and prescription in biblical narratives. How our view of the Bible shapes the way we read it.Practical principles that can help you grow in biblical literacy.I'll also share several of my own Bible study tips, recommend additional resources for going deeper, and explain why sound Bible study matters for every Christian.Whether you're just beginning to study the Bible or you've been reading it for years, this episode will challenge you to think more carefully about how we approach God's Word.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, s

God Healed Her of Cancer. Why Doesn't He Heal Everyone? | Corley Spell

What do you do when you pray for healing...and God says yes? What do you do when He says not yet—or not in the way you hoped? In this episode, I sit down with Corley Spell, co-founder of Good Ranchers, to hear the remarkable story of her battle with melanoma. Diagnosed while pregnant with her fourth child, pressured to abort her baby, and later facing a life-threatening recurrence that left her bedridden, Corley shares how God met her in the darkest moments of her journey.Together, we wrestle with some of the hardest questions Christians ask:Does God still perform miracles today? Why does God heal some people but not others?Should Christians pray for physical healing? How do we trust God when the answer isn't what we hoped for? What does it look like to surrender completely to God's will while still believing Him for a miracle? This is not a formula for healing or a blueprint for medical decisions. Every cancer journey is different, and Corley repeatedly encourages listeners to work closely with qualified medical professionals and seek the Lord's wisdom for their own circumstances.Whether you're walking through cancer yourself, caring for someone who is, or simply wrestling with questions about suffering, faith, and God's sovereignty, I hope this conversation encourages you to trust the Lord—whatever His answer may be.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAWE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA ----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

AI is already shaping the way we search, learn, create, and even think. Does it have a mind—or does it just process information? Why does it so confidently get things wrong? Is There a Demonic Agenda Behind Alien Fascination and Disclosure Day? | Jac Marino

What if the biggest threat behind today's alien obsession isn't extraterrestrial at all?Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day has people asking questions about God, creation, and whether discovering intelligent life would shatter the Christian worldview. But would it?In this episode, I review the film, respond to its biggest theological claims, explore what the Bible actually says about extraterrestrial life, and explain why the existence of aliens wouldn't undermine Christianity. Then, former occultist Jac Marino joins me to share her chilling story of what she once believed were alien encounters, including abduction experiences, channeling, and supernatural phenomena. Today, she believes those experiences were real, but not extraterrestrial.Could the modern fascination with UFOs and "the grays" be pointing to something far more spiritual? Were Christians Always Pro-Life? Examining the Historical Record

Were Christians always pro-life, or is opposition to abortion a recent political invention? Did the Southern Baptist Convention prove that Christians were historically pro-choice?In this episode, Alisa responds to claims made on The Joe Rogan Experience by Texas State Representative James Talarico, who argues that the Christian pro-life position has no historical foundation and that abortion and homosexuality only became central Christian concerns in recent decades.Looking at Scripture, the earliest Christian writings, and the historical record, Alisa traces the consistent Christian witness from the first century onward. You'll discover how the early church confronted a culture where abortion, infanticide, and sexual immorality were widely accepted—and why Christians stood apart by affirming the dignity of every human being as made in the image of God.Topics include:Was the early church pro-life?What did the Didache, Epistle of Barnabas, and early church fathers teach about abortion? Was the Southern Baptist Convention historically pro-choice?Why did early Christians challenge the sexual ethics of the Roman Empire? Are Christians making abortion and sexuality the primary issues, or responding to the issues culture has made primary?Whether you've heard these historical claims before or are encountering them for the first time, this episode examines what the earliest Christians actually believed—and why that history still matters today. This video is sponsored by: CENTER FOR BIBLICAL UNITY AMBASSADOR PROGRAM GO to https://www.centerforbiblicalunity.com/ambassador and mention The Alisa Childers Podcast to receive 15% off tuition.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To

Authenticity.Everyone uses these words—but are we even talking about the same things? In this Q&A episode, Alisa tackles one of the biggest challenges facing Christians today: the redefinition of language. From moral relativism to "love is love," from authenticity culture to social justice, discover how changing the meaning of words can completely reshape the way we think about God, morality, identity, and reality itself. If you've ever been told you're "unloving" for holding a biblical view, or wondered why conversations about truth seem impossible, this episode will help you cut through the confusion and recover clear, biblical definitions.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to think Biblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISARANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/

Does Hierarchy Hurt Marriage? Let's Listen to Sheila Wray Gregoire Together

What happens when popular Christian voices claim that hierarchy is the root cause of harm in marriage, sex, and the church? In this episode, I listen through key clips from a recent Theology Gals interview with Sheila Wray Gregoire and offer a live, real-time response. I examine claims about complementarianism, egalitarianism, purity culture, deconstruction, women's well-being, marriage dynamics, and the future of the church.Rather than simply telling you what to think, I hope to model the process of discernment...evaluating arguments, questioning assumptions, examining methodology, and comparing every claim to Scripture. Along the way, I highlight points of agreement, challenge what I believes are misrepresentations of complementarian theology, and explores how Christians can thoughtfully engage influential voices online.Whether you're wrestling with questions about marriage, church leadership, deconstruction, or how to evaluate the content you consume, this episode offers a practical look at biblical discernment in action.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:WE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com  for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  <a href="http://www.alisachilders.com

Two Trisomy Moms Respond to a Viral Abortion Story | Carli Smith & Mandi Moseley

When YouTubers Jesse and Ashley Ridgeway announced that they had aborted their baby after receiving a prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis, the story sparked intense online debate. But what if the voices most needed in that conversation were the parents who received similar diagnoses—and chose life?In this episode, Alisa is joined by two mothers whose children were diagnosed with chromosomal abnormalities before birth. Carli's son, Shep, has Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), and Mandi's daughter, Ellie, has Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome), a condition often described by medical professionals as "incompatible with life."Together, they share their deeply personal journeys of receiving devastating prenatal diagnoses, navigating fear and uncertainty, confronting the messages they received from the medical community, and ultimately choosing to welcome their children into the world. They also respond to the Ridgeways' public statements and discuss the broader cultural implications of selective abortion based on disability. This conversation explores suffering, trust in God, the value of every human life, and the unexpected joy that can emerge from circumstances many people are told to fear. Whether you're facing a difficult diagnosis, walking alongside someone who is, or simply seeking to think more deeply about these issues, this episode offers hope, perspective, and encouragement.Mandi's resources: * Instagram & YouTube: @alittleextramomming* Website: extracarecollective.com-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisac

How do you share the gospel with someone who seems to have heard every argument and rejected every answer? Drawing from real-life experiences on college campuses, ministry events, and personal relationships, we discuss how to identify the deeper questions beneath people's objections and how to communicate in ways that foster understanding rather than defensiveness.Topics include:Reaching people who seem resistant to the gospelEngaging skeptics with empathy and discernmentPractical insights for conversations with those on the autism spectrumNavigating relationships with deconstructed family membersUnderstanding the difference between sheep and wolvesResponding to hostility without compromising truthWhy character matters as much as content in apologeticsWhether you're trying to reconnect with an estranged adult child, answer a skeptical friend, or simply become a more effective ambassador for Christ, this conversation offers biblical wisdom and practical encouragement for some of life's most challenging conversations.Connect with Jason Jimenez:Stand Strong MinistriesBooks: Hijacking Jesus and Challenging ConversationsResources Mentioned:Another Gospel Student Edition (now available on Audible)Subscribe to The Alisa Childers Podcast and share this episode with someone who wants to communicate truth with both conviction and grace.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAWE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAALLIANCE FAMILY SERVICESAlliance Family Services is a Gospel-centered organization that relentlessly advocates forpreborn children, women, and families by providing exceptional reproductive healthcare, Biblical discipleship, and social support.Go to www.alliancefamilyservices.org for more information----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.ali

What I Actually Said About Sheila Gregoire and Al Mohler: Responding to the Backlash

Did I owe Sheila Gregoire a private conversation before critiquing The Great Sex Rescue? Am I unqualified to review her work because I haven't read other books in the Christian marriage genre? And is it fair to question the methodology behind her research? In this episode, I respond to the most common objections raised after my conversation with Anne Kennedy about The Great Sex Rescue. We'll discuss whether public ideas require public critique, the difference between anecdotal evidence and sound research, and why Scripture, not personal experience, must remain the Christian's ultimate authority.I'll also address the controversy surrounding comments by Al Mohler regarding women on church-sanctioned podcasts. Did he really say women shouldn't have podcasts? Is there a meaningful difference between a woman speaking publicly and a woman functioning in a pastoral role? And am I being inconsistent in the way I apply those principles? These conversations touch on some of the most emotionally charged issues in the church today: sex, marriage, gender roles, authority, discernment, and biblical faithfulness. My goal isn't to win arguments but to model critical thinking, clarify what I actually believe, and encourage Christians to test every claim against the Word of God.Let's sort through the controversy, examine the assumptions, and pursue truth with both conviction and grace.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics.

The Dark Side of Gentle Parenting: What Viral Influencers Get Wrong | Brett & Erin Kunkle

Gentle parenting is everywhere—but is it biblical? In this episode, I’m joined by Brett and Erin Kunkle of Maven to ask what’s really underneath one of today’s most popular parenting movements. Is gentle parenting just a kinder, more compassionate approach—or is it built on a worldview that quietly redefines sin, authority, discipline, and the role of parents? We talk about the overlap between gentle parenting, progressive theology, critical theory, and expressive individualism. We also ask the big question: Who gets the final word in our homes—God and His Word, or our children and their feelings?Brett and Erin help us break down the assumptions behind the movement, respond to popular gentle parenting videos, and explain why this conversation matters for parents, grandparents, pastors, teachers—and anyone who cares about the next generation. The Truth About Gentle Parenting e-book: https://equip.maventruth.com/gentle-parenting-ebook-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:WE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISARANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics.

I also discuss the recent conspiracy narratives surrounding Charlie Kirk’s murder, Frank Turek, Candace Owens, and the rise of online suspicion culture.I break down the common hallmarks of conspiracy thinking, including unfalsifiable claims, selective evidence, emotional reasoning, insinuation, hidden knowledge, moving goalposts, and the assumption of coordinated secret intent. Sheila Wray Gregoire's Great Sex Rescue: Real Problems, Wrong Answers? | Anne Kennedy

Sheila Gregoire has become one of the most influential voices in the Christian conversation surrounding sex, marriage, and evangelical culture. But do her conclusions actually stand up to biblical and logical scrutiny? In this episode, I’m joined by Anne Kennedy for a thoughtful review of The Great Sex Rescue and a broader discussion of Sheila’s theology, trajectory, and influence. We discuss where she started, where she has landed, and ask whether her approach is truly rooted in Scripture or shaped more by cultural assumptions and modern psychology. We also examine questions surrounding her research methodology, claims about complementarianism, purity culture, and whether evangelical Christianity is really the source of the problems she identifies. Along the way, we highlight areas where we agree—including concerns about pornography and real struggles many women face in marriage—while also exploring significant concerns about worldview, biblical authority, and the purpose of sex itself. We also open with a conversation about the recent Avalon controversy and why theological precision matters now more than ever.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.thekeynoteagency.comTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachil

Baylor’s LGBTQ Controversy: Compassion or Compromise?

As Baylor University faces controversy over recent LGBTQ-related campus events and questions about whether Christian institutions are experiencing theological drift, a larger issue emerges beneath the headlines: What is love? Increasingly, Christians are being told that the loving response is affirmation—but does Scripture define love that way? Baylor becomes a case study for a broader conversation affecting churches, schools, families, and individual believers. In this episode, Alisa explores one of the biggest underlying questions shaping the church today: Is love merely acceptance and celebration, or does biblical love sometimes require difficult truths, correction, and courage?-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:WE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISARANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.thekeynoteagency.comTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

Top Bible Scholar Debunks TikTok Bible Myths | Dr. Dan Wallace

From viral TikTok claims to skeptical arguments popularized by comedians and progressive influencers, Christians are constantly told that the Bible was rewritten, corrupted, edited by kings and popes, and passed down like a giant game of telephone. But is any of that actually true?In this conversation, I sit down with New Testament scholar Dr. Dan Wallace as he explains what textual criticism really is, how New Testament manuscripts were copied and preserved, what textual variants actually mean, and why the evidence for the reliability of the New Testament is far stronger than most people realize. We discuss:Whether the Bible was changed over timeThe “telephone game” objectionBart Ehrman and textual variantsHow scholars determine the original wording of ScriptureWhy manuscript differences don’t threaten core Christian doctrineThe history of canonization and transmissionViral skeptical claims circulating online todayWhy this conversation matters for Christians raising kids in a skeptical cultureIf questions about the reliability of Scripture have ever unsettled you—or someone you love—this episode offers both historical depth and practical clarity.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAALLIANCE FAMILY SERVICESAlliance Family Services is a Gospel-centered organization that relentlessly advocates forpreborn children, women, and families by providing exceptional reproductive healthcare,Biblical discipleship, and social support.Go to www.alliancefamilyservices.org for more information----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.thekeynoteagency.comTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD

Deconstruction: Proof They Were Never Saved? | Answering Your Hardest Questions

How do you know when a church has abandoned biblical truth? Can Christians practice discernment without becoming cynical? Why are so many young people deconstructing their faith? And can AI ever develop true discernment? In this candid Q&A episode, Alisa tackles some of the biggest questions Christians are wrestling with right now — progressive Christianity, deconstruction, parenting in a hostile culture, false teaching, salvation, political division, and the growing confusion around truth itself.Alisa explains why truth is not subjective, why discernment is a biblical command (not an optional spiritual gift), and why Christians must stop outsourcing their thinking to influencers, platforms, and emotional claims. We Need to Talk About Christian Nationalism: What It Really Is | Dr. Bill Roach

Christian nationalism is one of the most debated and misunderstood issues in the church today. Dr. Roach explains the historical roots behind modern Christian nationalist thought, how some versions challenge religious liberty, and why others frame it as a return to America’s founding principles.We also examine parallels between the woke left and what some call the woke right, the dangers of authoritarianism from either side, and how Christians should think biblically about politics, freedom, and truth in a polarized age.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISARANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: <a href="https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/" style="color:rgb(150,96,125);

Sending Your Christian Kid to College? 5 Challenges to Prepare For | Dr. Jonathan Morrow

Today’s students are stepping into a cultural landscape unlike any generation before them—one shaped by hyper-personalization, competing worldviews, and constant digital influence. In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Jonathan Morrow to unpack what that means for young Christians preparing for college—and the parents guiding them.Jonathan, director of cultural engagement at Impact 360 Institute and author of Welcome to College, explains why the stakes are higher than ever. We break down five major cultural challenges students are facing right now—from shifting views on truth and identity to the impact of social media, AI, and progressive ideology on faith formation. We also go deeper than surface-level issues. This conversation explores the underlying forces shaping this generation: a loss of confidence in knowing truth, the rise of relativism, and a growing culture of tribalism where power—not persuasion—drives belief. If students are being trained to see reality as customizable, how do they hold onto objective truth? This episode is both diagnostic and practical. We discuss how students can develop a resilient, well-reasoned faith—and how parents can proactively prepare their kids before they ever step onto a college campus. Whether your student is heading to a secular university or a Christian college, the cultural pressures are real—and they’re not going away.Topics include:The five biggest cultural challenges facing college students todayWhy truth is now seen as personal—and how that impacts faithThe role of social media and digital discipleshipHow progressive ideas are influencing Christian institutionsWhat parents can do now to prepare their kids for long-term faithIf you want your student to not just survive college—but graduate with a stronger, more grounded faith—this conversation lays the foundation.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISABRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good. Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSRANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/liv

Why does God allow suffering—and how can it actually be used for good?In this episode, I’m joined by Clay and Jean E. Drawing from their new book How Does God Use Suffering for Our Good?, they share both theological clarity and deeply personal experiences—including miscarriage, infertility, serious illness, and ongoing battles with cancer. We discuss the difference between evil and suffering, why our expectations of entitlement shape how we process pain, and how an eternal perspective changes everything. Clay and Jeannie also offer practical tools—like keeping a “truth journal”—to help you navigate suffering with clarity and hope. This conversation is honest, grounded, and deeply practical for anyone trying to make sense of hardship without resorting to shallow answers or empty optimism.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: <a href="https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-ch

Inside the Occult: Ritual Magick, the Golden Dawn, and the Way Out | Jac Marino

Jac shares how subtle ideas like manifestation, “Christ consciousness,” and spiritual autonomy drew her in long before she recognized the danger. This conversation goes beyond surface-level warnings. Naomi shares her firsthand experience growing up in a cult, escaping it, and rebuilding her understanding of God, truth, and Scripture from the ground up.We also address the growing controversy surrounding Bethel and the broader New Apostolic Reformation movement—where recent exposures have raised serious questions about prophecy, leadership, and accountability in the church. We dig into the broader implications of these revelations, including patterns of manipulation, fake prophecy, and the protection of abusers. Biblical Forgiveness Isn’t What You’ve Been Told | Teasi Cannon

Is “forgive and forget” actually biblical — or a modern therapeutic idea Christians have absorbed without realizing it? In this episode, I sit down with Teasi Cannon to challenge one of the most widely accepted assumptions in church culture: that forgiveness is primarily about personal emotional freedom. We unpack the biblical pattern of forgiveness as something tied to repentance, truth, and real relational restoration — not merely an internal process of releasing bad feelings. The conversation tackles hard questions many believers wrestle with: What about unrepentant offenders? Does healing require forgiveness? How should Christians think about reconciliation after abuse or spiritual harm? This episode exposes how a feelings-centered model of forgiveness became dominant and why redefining forgiveness matters for the gospel itself. If you’ve ever felt confused, pressured, or spiritually burdened by popular teachings on forgiveness, this discussion offers a framework designed to bring clarity and biblical precision.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information! Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/Product links are affiliate links which means if you buy something we'll receive a small commission.

Did Adam & Eve Really Exist? Why It Matters More Than You Think | Dr. J.R. Miller

Did Adam and Eve really exist — and does it actually matter for the gospel? In this episode, we continue our exploration of origins, tackling some of the most controversial questions Christians are asking today. From theistic evolution to intelligent design, from young-earth to old-earth views, the debate often centers on science. But what’s really at stake is theology. Was Adam a real, historical person — the sole biological ancestor of the human race — or merely a symbolic representative? And how does the answer shape our understanding of sin, salvation, and the authority of Scripture?I’m joined by Dr. J. R. Miller for a thoughtful and candid conversation about how to interpret Genesis, what modern origin models claim, and why the historic Christian view of Adam has been so foundational to the gospel message. We also discuss areas where faithful believers may disagree — while wrestling honestly with the theological consequences of redefining humanity’s beginnings. This episode will challenge you to think more deeply about what you believe, why you believe it, and how the story of the first man connects to the story of the Second Adam.Dr. Geisler's article about Old Earth and Inerrancy------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSSUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: <a href="https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/" style="color:rgb(150,96,125)

It’s Time to End Same-Sex Marriage— A Child-Centered Case | Katy Faust

What if the real victims of marriage redefinition were never the adults—but the children? In this explosive conversation, Katie Faust joins me to talk about her bold new Greater Than Campaign and why it’s time for Christians to stop whispering about marriage, family, IVF, surrogacy, and child commodification. Katie argues that when we center adult desire, children always lose—and the fallout of Obergefell has proven exactly that.We discuss why children need a mother and a father, how marriage law reshaped parenthood law, why conservatives have often made the wrong argument, and how the church must recover the courage to speak clearly about what is best for kids. This episode is not just about politics. It’s about justice for children, biblical truth, and answering the biggest cultural questions of our time.We cover:Why Katie says it’s time to end gay marriageHow Obergefell changed parenthood, IVF, and surrogacyWhy children—not adults—are the true victimsHow the church can stop playing defenseWhy today’s culture war is really about what it means to be humanLearn more at GreaterThanCampaign.comConnect with Katie at ThemBeforeUs.com------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISASUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26ALLIANCE FAMILY SERVICESAlliance Family Services is a Gospel-centered organization that relentlessly advocates forpreborn children, women, and families by providing exceptional reproductive healthcare, Biblical discipleship, and social support.Go to www.alliancefamilyservices.org for more information--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/Product links are affiliate links which means if you buy something we'll receive a small commission.

Disability Justice? The Hidden Branch of Critical Theory Infiltrating the Church | Ela “The Disapologist”

What happens when critical theory gets applied to disability? In this fascinating conversation, Alisa sits down with Christian apologist Ela, known online as The DisApologist, who herself lives with a physical disability, to talk about the rise of disability theology and disability justice, and why so many of its claims are incompatible with a biblical worldview.Drawing parallels to critical race theory and gender theory, Ela explains how disability is increasingly being framed through the lens of oppressed vs. oppressor, with “able-bodied” people cast as the privileged class. Together, we discuss how these ideas are showing up in the church, how books like My Body Is Not a Prayer Request are influencing Christians, and why it matters so much to think biblically about suffering, healing, justice, identity, and human dignity. This conversation is both eye-opening and deeply practical. How can churches be truly welcoming and accessible to people with disabilities without importing unbiblical theology? What does Scripture actually say? And how can Christians respond with both compassion and truth? This is an important episode for anyone who wants to think clearly, love well, and stay grounded in a biblical worldview.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:A'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  <a href="http://www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/" style="color:rgb(150

From Gender Confusion and Lesbian Identity to Freedom in Christ | Christine Sneeringer

Christine Sneeringer joins me for a powerful and hope-filled conversation about trauma, identity, redemption, and the life-changing power of Christ.Christine shares her story of surviving years of sexual abuse, wrestling with deep confusion about her biological sex, and eventually living as a lesbian before Jesus radically saved her. She talks candidly about the pain and lies that shaped her identity, the long road of sanctification, and the healing God brought into her life as she learned to trust His design. We also discuss how the church has been slow to respond to the cultural revolution around sexuality and gender, why so many young people are being swept up in today’s transgender ideology, and why true compassion must be grounded in truth. Christine now leads Worthy Creations, where she ministers to people struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction and gender confusion, offering biblical hope and encouragement. You can learn more about Christine, her ministry, and her book Answers to Gender Madness at worthycreations.org.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSSUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: <a href="https://alisachilders.com/

Theistic Evolution vs Intelligent Design: What’s the Difference? | Dr. JT Bridges

Today we’re continuing our conversation about theistic evolution and the theological implications of how we think about origins. In this episode, Dr. JT Bridges helps us untangle what people actually mean when they say “evolution,” breaking down the difference between microevolution (small adaptations within a species) and macroevolution (the claim that one species can become another over long periods of time). We also talk about neodarwinism, intelligent design, and why so many debates about origins aren’t just about data. They’re about the philosophical assumptions we bring to the data. One of the most eye-opening parts of this conversation is the idea that science doesn’t interpret itself. Two scientists can look at the same evidence and reach different conclusions—because interpretation requires philosophy, and many scientists simply aren’t trained to recognize when philosophical assumptions (like naturalism) are steering the outcome. We also get into what’s actually at stake for Christians. If Darwinian macroevolution is taken as the full story of human origins, it raises serious questions about Adam and Eve, sin, and ultimately the coherence of the gospel message...especially the biblical teaching that sin entered the world through one man and that redemption comes through Christ. This one is for the science nerds, the philosophy nerds, and anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed by terms like “Big Bang,” “intelligent design,” “macro vs. micro,” and “philosophy of science.” We go deep in the weeds—but I think you’ll come away with a clearer framework for thinking biblically and carefully about origins.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information! Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors:

Young Earth, Old Earth, or Theistic Evolution? | Dr. Tricia Scribner

Today’s episode tackles a topic I’ve wanted to explore for years: the age of the earth and what Christians should really believe about origins. Is the earth young? Is it old? Did God use evolutionary mechanisms to bring about life as we know it? And most importantly, what actually matters theologically?Joining me in the studio is Dr. Tricia Scribner, whose PhD research focused specifically on these questions. Together we unpack the key differences between young earth creationism, old earth creationism, and theistic evolution. These are distinctions that are far more significant than they first appear. We also discuss the overlap between progressive Christianity and Theistic Evolution. Ultimately, we examine why confusion about origins is growing in churches, seminaries, and Christian universities — and how Christians can think carefully, biblically, and charitably about these issues without turning secondary questions into unnecessary dividing lines.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information! Use my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: <a href="https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/" style="color:rgb(15

How Universities Quietly Changed America | Dr. Corey Miller

If you're going to send your kids or grandkids to university, you need to understand what’s happening there. Because if you don’t, you may be paying for the apostasy of your own children. That’s not hyperbole. That’s the sobering reality we’re discussing in today’s episode. Our culture hasn’t just “shifted” over the last five to ten years. According to my guest, it has undergone a soft revolution; one that didn’t begin with riots or political slogans, but in classrooms, lecture halls, and faculty lounges decades ago. The real battleground wasn’t first Washington, it was the university.Today I’m joined by Dr. Corey Miller, president of Ratio Christi and author of The Progressive Miseducation of America. Drawing from years of teaching philosophy and comparative religion at Indiana University and leading a campus apologetics ministry active on over 100 universities, Dr. Miller explains how higher education became the epicenter of an ideological transformation reshaping the West.In this conversation, we explore:What a “soft revolution” actually is—and why it’s more powerful than most people realizeHow universities shifted from truth-seeking institutions to engines of worldview formationWhy politics is downstream from culture—and culture is downstream from educationHow even Christian colleges are not immune to ideological captureThe rise of what some are calling the “woke right”—and why Dr. Miller argues that label is misleadingWhy terms like “dissident right” may better capture the philosophical roots of certain emerging movementsDr. Miller also shares his personal story—from seventh-generation Mormon (with ancestors connected to Joseph Smith) to skeptic to Christian philosopher—and how that journey shaped his passion to help students not just survive university, but thrive intellectually and spiritually.Perhaps most importantly, we discuss what parents, pastors, and students can actually do. If revolutions can happen slowly through institutions, then rebuilding must be intentional and long-term. Dr. Miller even talks about a 40–50 year strategy for reclaiming the university. This episode is sobering, clarifying, and surprisingly hopeful. If you care about the next generation, about truth, and about the future of Christian witness in the academy.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISASUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA2

Not Every Doctrine Is Equal (Here’s Why) | David Geisler

In a “can’t we all just agree to disagree?” age, how do Christians know which doctrines are worth dividing over—and which ones faithful believers can disagree about in good conscience? The New Testament repeatedly warns that false teachers will arise from within the church, twisting the gospel and drawing people away. But that raises a crucial question: what exactly counts as “the gospel,” and what beliefs are essential to salvation? In today’s episode, I’m joined by David Geisler, who carries on the work of his father, Dr. Norman Geisler, to help Christians sort the difference between essential and non-essential doctrines—with clarity, charity, and conviction. We also dig into the 2025 State of Theology research (Lifeway Research commissioned by Ligonier Ministries) and the results are sobering: many professing Christians are confused about core, gospel-defining doctrines like God’s nature, the Trinity, the resurrection, and human sin.Together, we walk through 15 core essentials—doctrines that directly relate to salvation—and talk about why some truths may be logically necessary even if a new believer can’t articulate them yet. We also discuss why compromise may be one of the biggest threats to the church right now.If you’ve ever felt confused by the endless “lists” online, or you’ve heard progressive Christianity flatten everything into the same category, this conversation will help you think clearly and biblically about what must be protected and how to pursue unity without surrendering truth.Resources mentioned: Conviction Without Compromise: Standing Strong in the Core Beliefs of the Christian Faith by Norman Geisler & Ron Rhodes.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://www.goodranchers.com/discount/ALISA for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA --------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachi

Given 2 Weeks to Terminate Their Baby — They Chose Life | The Leopard Family

When Jeff and Cat Leopard learned their daughter Adelyne had Trisomy 18, they were told she was “incompatible with life,” pressured to terminate, and given a countdown on a calendar. Instead, as Christians who believe every human being is made in the image of God, they chose life, and then fought for the medical care that would honor their daughter’s dignity. What followed was heartbreak, advocacy, hospital corridors, hard conversations… and an unexpected, stubborn hope. You’ll hear the Leopards’ full journey from the cold, clinical appointment that offered only abortion or “comfort care,” to the physicians who finally said, “We’re going to do everything we can.” We also talk candidly about what Trisomy 18 is, how the “incompatible with life” label is often used, and why Christians must think clearly about personhood, human value, and the worldview assumptions driving modern bioethics. Jeff also shares how he teaches students to spot the cracks in naturalism, and why pro-life conviction isn’t just a political position—it’s a worldview lived out in real suffering, real love, and real courage.Follow Adelyn's progress on Facebook: facebook.com/adelynleopardstrongLeopard's Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/GZPSEYY9XJBN?ref_=wl_shareLeopard's Venmo to donate: @adelynleopardstrong ------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://www.goodranchers.com/discount/ALISA for more information.Use my code: ALISASUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/anoth

If someone told you the Gospels were “anonymous legends written decades later,” would you know how to answer without panic-googling?In this episode, Historian Adam Claason joins me for a deep (but very accessible) conversation on gospel reliability. We discuss who actually wrote Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John...and does it matter? We tackle the viral claim that “the Gospels never name their authors” (true)… and why that doesn’t mean the church just made the names up. Adam breaks down how ancient historians evaluated sources, why eyewitness testimony carried weight in the Greco-Roman world, what Luke is doing in his opening lines, and how the “late legendary development” theory doesn’t fit the evidence nearly as well as people assume. If you’ve ever wondered:Were the Gospels written by eyewitnesses—or by strangers pretending to be them? Were they written too late to be historically trustworthy? Why early Christians were so unified on authorship (and why we don’t find competing names)What “eyewitness primacy” is, and why it changed the conversation, this one will equip you to think clearly, respond confidently, and trust that Christianity isn’t built on “cleverly devised tales,” but on testimony grounded in real history.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good. Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSRANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/Product links are affiliate links which means if you buy something we'll receive a small commission.

Repentance or Damage Control? Testing Bethel Against the Scripture

Was that biblical repentance...or something else?In this episode, I take a hard look at the recent controversy surrounding Bethel Church and the public response from its leaders, including Kris Vallotton and Bill Johnson, following the exposure of false prophecy and abuse connected to Shawn Bolz. Many Christians celebrated what they called repentance. Others weren’t so sure.Instead of reacting emotionally or choosing sides online, we’re going to Scripture. What does the Bible actually say repentance looks like? How do we tell the difference between godly sorrow and regret over being exposed? The War on Western Civilization, with John Stonestreet

Today I’m joined by John Stonestreet from the Colson Center for a conversation about what’s happening to the West—and why so much of our cultural confusion suddenly seems to “make sense” once you understand the deeper worldview battle underneath it.We talk about why civilizations are built around shared principles, and what happens when a society tries to keep the “fruit” of those principles—human rights, equality, dignity, freedom—while severing the roots that made them possible. John explains why the chaos and strange alliances we’ve seen in recent years aren’t random, but often share a common goal: undermining Western civilization itself.John offers practical guidance for living faithfully in a hostile culture: refusing to repeat what isn’t true, being willing to have hard conversations, trusting God with outcomes, and asking four questions in your own sphere of influence: What’s good to protect? What’s evil to oppose? What’s broken to restore? Hidden Sin, Near Divorce, and the Christian Music Machine, with Michael O’Brien

Today’s conversation is a candid and at times sobering look inside the contemporary Christian music industry—where calling, platform, pressure, and spiritual warfare often collide. My guest is Michael O’Brien, beloved solo artist from the ’90s and former lead singer of NewSong. Michael opens up about the grueling pace of life on the road, the hidden sins that nearly cost him his marriage, and how the Lord used conviction, repentance, counseling, and a renewed love for Scripture to rebuild what was breaking. We also talk honestly about the “machine” that can form around Christian celebrity, how easy it is for sin to stay buried in public ministry, and why true reform in the Christian music world won’t come through branding—but through humility, servant leadership, and gospel purity. Along the way, we discuss the current cultural moment, the renewed interest in church and Christianity, and why discernment is more important than ever—especially for brand-new believers who are hungry, hopeful, and vulnerable to bad theology. ------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/For Alisa's Merch

When “Better” Isn’t Biblical: Rethinking Progressive Bible Interpretations

This is the first episode of the New Year, and I'm starting with a deep dive into how progressive Christianity approaches the Bible. In this episode, Natasha Crain and I walk through Better Ways to Read the Bible by progressive Christian pastor Zach Lambert, using it as a case study to examine common progressive claims about Scripture. Lambert argues that the Bible is often read through “harmful lenses” and should instead be read through new “healing” ones. While we agree that the Bible has been misused in real and damaging ways, we explain why his proposed solutions create more confusion than clarity. We discuss the critical difference between:The nature of Scripture (inspiration, inerrancy, authority)The interpretation of Scripture (how we determine meaning)Along the way, we address:Why “literalism” is often misrepresented in progressive theologyHow progressive Christianity reframes hell, sin, and judgmentMoralism vs. legalism—and what Scripture actually teaches about graceLiberation theology, critical theory, and power-based readings of the BibleThe misuse of “fruit” language to justify affirming what Scripture calls sinWhy progressive Christians still identify as Christian—and why sincerity is not the same as truthThis conversation is not about motives or tone. It’s about theology, presuppositions, and whether the progressive framework is consistent with the historic Christian faith. We’re starting the year by going back to first principles: what the Bible is, how it should be read, and why those questions matter.

The Zoegirl Reunion Fans Have Waited For (25 Years Later!)

In this very special episode, I’m reunited with my ZOEgirl bandmates, Kristin Schweain and Chrissy Katina, to celebrate 25 years since our very first self-titled album released back in 2000. If you remember us as the “Christian Spice Girls” for tween girls, this one is for you! And even if you’ve never heard our music, I think you’ll be encouraged by three former CCM artists who are still walking with Jesus in an age of deconstruction. We share big news: ZOEgirl has written and recorded a brand-new song that will release in January, in honor of our 25-year anniversary. We talk about what it was like to re-enter the studio together after all these years, and we give life updates on what’s happened since we came off the road around 2008—family, ministry, photography, worship leading, and more.We also get honest about the darker side of the Christian music industry—the body-image pressures, the pull toward “mainstream-friendly” lyrics, and what it was like to watch so many fellow artists deconstruct or walk away from the faith. Kristin shares the powerful pro-life story of her son Callum’s high-risk pregnancy and the pressure she faced to abort. Chrissy talks about years-long health struggles, losing her voice, and what God taught her in a long season of “just listening.”Finally, all three of us answer a simple but profound question: “Why do you still believe?” We talk about sin, grace, the reliability of the gospel, and why Christianity isn’t just comforting...it’s true. If you grew up on ZOEgirl, or if you’re trying to stand firm in your faith in a culture that’s increasingly hostile to biblical Christianity, this episode is for you.Stay connected with ZOEgirl:Follow us on Instagram: @zoegirlmusicofficialFind us on Facebook under ZOEgirl Music OfficialJoin us on our 2026 cruise (Oct 3–8) – details and registration at https://thekatinas.com/pages/the-kati...------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Save up to 25% with promo code 'ALISA' & get up to four FREE gifts this Christmas season: http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to <a href="http://www

You're Not a Victim of Motherhood: Pushing Back on Victimhood Culture, with Abbie Halberstadt

When motherhood feels more like a thousand little deaths to self than the glossy highlight reel on Instagram, is it really worth it?In this episode, I’m joined by my friend Abby Halberstadt, better known as M is for Mama, to talk about her new book, You Bet Your Stretch Marks: Finding Beauty and Worth in the Ways Motherhood Marks Our Bodies and Souls. Abby is a mom of 10, a fitness instructor, and a deeply theologically grounded voice speaking into the chaos of modern motherhood. Together we tackle comparison, cultural backlash, “honest motherhood,” and what it really means to live as a faithful, joyful mom in a world that often treats children like a burden instead of a blessing. We talk about:Why our “marks” (stretch marks, scars, sleepless nights, and hidden sacrifices) can be beautiful testimonies of love, not flaws to hideHow to push back against a culture that normalizes complaining, victimhood, and joking about hating motherhoodThe difference between rejoicing in all things and enjoying all thingsHow our words, attitudes, and even facial expressions shape the spiritual atmosphere of our homesComparison, social media, and what to do when people accuse you of being “fake,” “toxic positive,” or “doing it for the ’gram”Training our kids with a long view of legacy parenting—seeing everyday faithfulness as an investment in generations we may never meetWhy obedience to Christ in the hidden, thankless moments is always worth it, even when our feelings lag behind our theologyAbby also shares personal stories of suffering, health struggles, miscarriages, and how God’s kindness and sovereignty sustained her through it all. If you’re a mom who’s tired, discouraged, or tempted to believe the lie that you’re “not enough,” this conversation is for you.???? A Beginner’s Guide to the Christian Worldview, with Greg Koukl

In this episode of the Alisa Childers Podcast, I’m joined by my friend and OG apologist, Greg Koukl of Stand to Reason, for what I hope will be the episode you send to a brand-new Christian who’s asking, “Where do I even start?”In the wake of so many people coming to Christ, especially following Charlie Kirk’s death, Greg and I talk about how to help new believers understand the big story of the Bible: who God is, who we are, what’s gone wrong with the world, and how Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection make sense of all of it. Drawing from his book The Story of Reality, Greg walks us through the narrative arc of the Christian worldview using five simple words: God, man, Jesus, cross, resurrection. We also talk about:Why Christianity isn’t “your truth vs. my truth,” but a picture of realityWhy God’s justice and love are not in tension but perfectly meet at the crossHeaven, hell, judgment, and why what you do with Jesus really does matter foreverPractical encouragement for new Christians: how to start reading your Bible, why you need a solid local church, and how to think about prayer when it feels hardIf you’re new to the faith, or you love someone who is, this episode is for you.------------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSSUMMITGive your kids a stronger foundation to embrace a biblical worldview.Go to www.summit.org for more informationUse my code: ALISA26FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information! Use my code: ALISA--------------------------------------------------------------------To Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  <a href="http://www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/" style="color:rgb(1

Candace Owens, Discernment, and the Crisis of Critical Thinking

In this episode of the Alisa Childers Podcast, Alisa tackles the swirling controversy surrounding Candace Owens’ claims about the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the alleged cover-up by TPUSA and others. Rather than chasing every rumor, Alisa walks through how Christians can biblically and rationally discern claims like these—especially when they implicate real people, by name, with no publicly available evidence.Drawing from Scripture (2 Corinthians 10, Ephesians 6, 2 Timothy 3, 2 Thessalonians 2), she explores why truth is not relative, why discernment is central to spiritual warfare, and how conspiracy thinking can slide into slander, character assassination, and even cult-like dynamics. Alisa also examines some of Candace’s rhetoric and tactics—insinuation, speculation, appeals to secret knowledge, and ad hominem attacks—and contrasts this with a truly Christian approach to seeking truth, guarding our hearts, and being transformed into the image of Christ. This episode is especially aimed at Christian women who find themselves glued to every new “bombshell” update. Alisa offers a sober call to repentance from gossip and titillation, and an invitation back to Scripture, prayer, family, and a life ordered around Jesus, who is the Truth.Link to Israel trip: https://www.eo.travelwithus.com/tours/hl26060126n58473#eotoursLink to full episode of J.
