Off The Bench

In hour three of OTB we discuss Drake London’s new contract and what it could mean for Chris Olave moving forward. We spend most of the hour debating what a fair price for Olave would look like and what the New Orleans Saints should be willing to pay before wrapping things up with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk with Dr. Stephen Etheredge about some New York Knicks injuries and also discuss Sam Leavitt’s foot injury, recovery timeline, and what that process looks like. We also take a look at Bill Bender’s top college football quarterback rankings, discussing what we agree and disagree with, before wrapping up with some baseball transfer portal talk.

We kick off hour three with Nick Underhill as we discuss the latest NFL news and preview New Orleans Saints OTAs. We also talk about the growing calls to reseed teams after regionals in the college baseball postseason before wrapping up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we somehow end up on a random CFL tangent before diving into OTB Mailbag. Along the way, Matt accidentally puts Joe Pesci in an early grave, creating one of the more unintentionally hilarious moments of the day.

In hour one of OTB we discuss all of the major NFL trade news that broke yesterday. We talk about Odell Beckham Jr. returning to the New York Giants after a couple of years away from the league, Myles Garrett heading to the Los Angeles Rams and what that could mean for their defense, and of course the blockbuster move sending A. J. Brown to the New England Patriots.

It’s Marler Monday, which means things quickly go off the rails. In hour three of OTB we talk NCAA baseball, some of the drama happening around college softball, make fun of Chris Marler along the way, and honestly cover a little bit of everything before wrapping up the show.

In hour two of OTB we officially get the OTB NBA Finals matchup: Alondra’s San Antonio Spurs vs. Jake’s New York Knicks. We discuss the Spurs’ series win over the Oklahoma City Thunder and look ahead to the Finals matchup. We also talk some New Orleans Saints and do Weekend Winners.

In hour one of OTB we recap our weekends before diving into Ed Orgeron and LSU’s big recruiting weekend. We also talk some NCAA baseball and take a look at what’s happening around the postseason landscape.

In hour three of OTB we talk about how the Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini saga has seemingly died down after dominating headlines for weeks. We also discuss the difference between J. J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray's answers when they were asked about their relationship with each other, before wrapping up the show with Ask the Bench.

As promised, this hour is all over the place. We kick things off discussing Joey McGuire’s comments that Texas Tech should buy out its opener with ACU, Texas should buy out its game with Texas State, and the two schools should just play each other. We also talk about Dolly Parton opening a Buc-ee’s-style venture that absolutely nobody asked for. Most importantly, we finally settle one of the biggest debates in OTB history: who in the Wolfpack has the most kankle-y ankles.

Fair warning: this might be the most ADHD show OTB history. We spend time discussing our favorite donuts before pivoting to the San Antonio Spurs forcing a Game 7 and why we hate watching games in public because we get way too emotionally invested. We also talk about Ed Orgeron and LSU’s massive recruiting weekend coming up.

We kick off hour three talking about Kirby Smart’s comments regarding the SEC potentially completely separating from the NCAA. We also do Munchies with Chef Michael Johnson before wrapping up the show with Ask the Bench.

We kick off hour two with Jake and Matt each giving you the seven NFL teams they think can reach 12 wins this season. Alondra and Tay Tay also give their lists and discuss some of the bubble teams that just missed the cut. We also do OTB Mailbag this hour.

In hour one of OTB we talk about how none of us really ever went to a true sleepaway summer camp growing up. We also discuss New Orleans Saints OTAs, the running back position, and Cam Jordan.

We kick off hour three with former Tiger Cole Freeman as we talk about his organization Heart Has No Limits and LSU baseball’s disappointing season. We also discuss San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, Alondra tells everyone to grow up, stop vaping, and smoke a cigarette instead, and we wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off talking New Orleans Saints with Nick Underhill as OTAs are about to get underway. We also do Weekend Winners since we were off yesterday, discuss Will Davis being set to become the next head coach at Houston Cougars baseball, and wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk about the proposed 24-team College Football Playoff, Greg Sankey’s comments on it, and how we all feel about expanding the playoff that far. Of course, we immediately get sidetracked talking about a guy who invented something to get toothpaste back into the tube, which somehow leads us to the bizarre video of Bryce Harper applying toothpaste. Eventually, we get things back on track and discuss the changes that happened in LSU’s quarterback room over the weekend.

In hour one of OTB we recap our Memorial Day weekend before jumping into sports talk with LSU softball getting swept out of the Tuscaloosa Super Regional. We also discuss the wild drama between Texas Tech Red Raiders softball and Florida Gators softball that somehow involved Jason Williams. Plus, we briefly touch on the NBA Conference Finals.

In hour three of OTB we continue talking about Ed Orgeron being hired back onto the LSU staff. We also debate which LSU sport we most want to see win the next national championship before wrapping up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we take a look at On3’s Top 100 players in college football rankings and discuss who feels noticeably absent from the top 10. We also talk about Joe Schoen getting an extension with the New York Giants before wrapping up the hour with some Would You Rather.

The tripod is rolling today! In hour one of OTB we talk about the tragic passing story surrounding Kyle Busch, preview LSU softball as the Tigers head to Tuscaloosa for the Super Regional, and discuss Matthew Stafford’s contract situation for this season.

In hour three of OTB we continue talking about Ed Orgeron returning to LSU’s football staff and what exactly this whole situation is going to look like. Chef Michael Johnson joins us for Munchies, we recap yesterday’s chaotic remote, and we wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk LSU baseball’s season coming to an end in Hoover against Auburn Tigers baseball. We also discuss the NBA Conference Finals, react to Aaron Rodgers signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers for one more season, and wrap up the hour with a Taylor Swift dance party for Tuzette.

In hour one of OTB we talk about Ed Orgeron officially being hired back onto the LSU football staff. What exactly is his role going to be? How do we feel about the hire? In hour three of OTB, Tay Tay and Alondra are forced to hold down the fort thanks to continued technical difficulties. The two preview LSU vs. Auburn Tigers baseball in the SEC Tournament, talk some New Orleans Saints and NFL storylines, and wrap up the show with an extended edition of Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we send things back to the studio due to some technical difficulties, leading to Tay Tay and Alondra talking NBA Finals for a bit. Once we reconnect with the guys, the conversation shifts to Will Wade’s current recruiting strategy, with Matt making it very clear he is not a fan. We also spend part of the hour trying to figure out whether they are actually in Geismar or Dutchtown.

In hour one of OTB we talk LSU’s win over Oklahoma Sooners baseball in the SEC Tournament and discuss what worked for the Tigers, along with how the bullpen shapes up for the rest of the tournament. We also talk about a Fox Sports article highlighting freshmen on top 25 teams, with Lamar Brown getting mentioned.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off talking New Orleans Saints with Nick Underhill, including  players from the Sean Payton era that are still hanging around on the roster and what their future looks like. We also discuss LSU basketball landing a commitment from RJ Luis Jr. and wonder how exactly LSU is going to get him more eligibility. We wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we discuss Will Wade’s unconventional recruiting strategy this offseason, and Alondra explains why parts of it are slightly concerning to her. We also talk about what Will needs to do this coming season to keep LSU fans excited about his return. In hour two of OTB we talk some New Orleans Saints and their rookie minicamp over the weekend. We also discuss LSU football, which Tigers could bring home awards this season, and ESPN’s top 25 award candidates list. Plus, we talk about just how new LSU’s offense is going to look this season before wrapping up the hour talking Bobby Cox.
