the problems we don't fix become our limits | islamic feelings

Addressing our challenges head-on is crucial because the problems we ignore often become the limits that define our lives. Avoiding these issues or hoping that success alone will make them disappear can lead to stagnation and unfulfilled potential. Confronting and working through difficulties not only helps us grow but also builds resilience and a deeper understanding of ourselves. It's through this process of overcoming obstacles that we achieve true, lasting success and personal fulfillment. connect with me: www.islamicfeelings.com

Assalamu’alaikum everyone. The beautiful month of Muharram is upon us, marking the beginning of a new Islamic year. In this episode, I provide a quick guide on breaking common bad habits. Drawing from letters in Molana Yunus Patel's book on resolving personal weaknesses and sharing some of my own actionable tips, we'll explore practical steps to overcome negligence in salah, how to stop gossiping & lying, managing materialism, and more Narrated in the Muwatta of Imam Malik, Rahimahullah Ta'ala, Safwara bin Sulaym, radiyaAllahu anhu, says the Prophet SAW was asked:  Can a believer be a coward? He said, “Yes, he can be coward. Then it was asked whether a believer could be a miser? He replied, “Yes, he can be a miser”, it was then asked whether a believer could be a liar? Dhul Hijjah Reminder: change the way you view sins | islamic feelings

Dhul Hijjah is home to the best ten days of the year, as highlighted in the beautiful hadith: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No good deeds can be done at a time better than these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” It was said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah.” Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 10307 ☆ As Muslims, we should take the opportunity to maximize our good deeds and voluntary acts in these beloved days. making sense of problems & the current world | islamic feelings

This new series is based on the book Kitab al-Hikam. Through selected quotes and reflections, I hope to discuss how these insights provide clarity and guidance. There will be many themes to explore, such as trust in divine wisdom, the importance of inner tranquility, and creating a relationship with Allah. By connecting these teachings to contemporary issues—such as stress, uncertainty, global circumstances, and the quest for purpose—I hope each episode resonates with you in a unique way. - Abu al-Husayn reported: Abu Uthman al-Hiri, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Companionship with Allah Almighty is to have good manners, to always be reverent, and to be mindful. Companionship with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is to follow his Sunnah and adhere to the outward rulings. Companionship with the allies of Allah is to respect and to serve them. Companionship with one’s family and children is to have good character. Companionship with one’s brethren is to always be joyful and cheerful, unless there is sin. Companionship with the foolish is to supplicate for them, to be merciful to them, and to appreciate the blessings of Allah upon you as you have been kept safe from their trials.” Source: Ṣifat al-Ṣafwah 2/302

lessons I learned through the people around me | managing self & relationships | islamic feelings

Life serves as a classroom through the people we encounter, where every interaction, be it joyful or challenging, offers an opportunity to learn. As the Prophet PBUH said, 'The believer who engages with others and patiently endures their harm receives greater reward than one who avoids people and is not patient with their harm.' (Source: Sunan Ibn Mājah 4032) This episode shares several lessons learned from my relationships. Understanding when to nurture a relationship or when to let it go, for better or worse, holds significant importance. My hope is that this episode aids you in navigating your own relationships. - This episode is sponsored by Rabata. let's talk: unhealthy resolutions, loving yourself, hardships & more

Assalamu’alaikum everyone! I hope you're all doing well. It's been a while since we've connected, and I've missed our conversations. Today, I wanted to take some time to delve into a few topics that I believe are important for us all. As we step into this new year, I find it crucial to address the concept of New Year's resolutions. Often, we set these ambitious goals, but some resolutions can unknowingly lead us down paths of stress or unattainable expectations. So, let's talk about steering away from unhealthy resolutions and instead focus on nurturing a sense of peace within ourselves and our homes. My hope is that this episode resonates with you, offering guidance and insight as we embark on this new chapter. Here's to a year filled with growth, self-reflection, and building our inner peace. May this be a stepping stone toward a more fulfilling and enriching life for each one of us. Thank you for being here and sharing this journey with me.
