Tek Lords is a novel by William Shatner - set in the not too distant future - where we are not sure what the difference is between a robot, mech, android or cyborg and where the bad guy is a trifle. We also take some time to discuss BJ and the Bear.Enjoy

The alliteratively obsessed Kardashian-Jenner clan are back for some my fiction fun! This time its the turn of Kendall and Kylie Jenner with a confusing sci fi dystopian novel involving twins, some eye stuff, singing swords and the only horse in existence! Enjoy

After a brief hiatus we are back!! We return with murder mystery football novel Striker - written in an afternoon (probably) and self published the next day (most likely!)Enjoy

Episode 3! This months episode we discuss the novel 'A Mother's Gift' co written by Britney and Lynne Spears. Given her recent victory of the conservatorship this episode seems like we planned everything like professionals - but we didn't! This a novel about a obnoxious girl from a small rural southern town in America who has gets to fullfil her dreams of going to a fancy stage school, appearing on tv and calling out her mother for being hideous due a scar that seemingly has the ability to change colour. Enjoy!!

Episode 10 - The Finale!! This months book is Dances and Dreams on Diamond Street written by Craig Revel Horwood. This is the book that started off the whole podcast project. One cold dark wintery evening whilst stood in Sainsburys I read the blurb to this book and realised that 'holy shit! There must be thousands of books written by celebrities that are bat shit crazy!!' and here we are. 10 Episodes later and 10 terrible books read and series 1 has drawn to a close. We hope to come back with a series 2 but in the meantime will be doing one off specials. We hope you enjoy this final episode!

Hello!! On this months episode we discuss the novel Shopgirl written by Steve Martin. I (Adam) was hesistant to read this book for several reasons. Firstly, Steve Martin is a childhood hero of mine I struggled to believed he would write a bad book. Secondly, as Steve Martin is an accomplished author, playwrite, actor and musician I thought this book would be too good and therefore would be a funny one for us a review and there myself and Helen would have to do some actual work and be proper reviewers of books. Enjoy!!

Wenches on benches! It is time for this month's podcast episode!  This month's epsiode is Viking written by Fabio. We discuss the rampant sexism and sex scenes. As well as the odd time travel element to this novel that seemingly has little to no pay off except for Fabio taking credit for introducing ancient Vikings to the concept of a chimney. We take a look at the personal life of Fabio as well as discuss the time he killed a Goose with his face and when he released an album of strange love ballards. Enjoy!

Hello!! We are back after a brief and unexpected break in our schedule. This months episode we discuss the novel 'The Perfect Letter; written by US television host Chris Harrison. This steamy novel had some problematic romantic themes and relationships but was a gold mine of online reviews! We also reveal the novel for the next episode. Enjoy!!

On this months episode we discuss the second novel written by film and television actor Isla Fisher. Full disclosure this episode was recorded a few days after we had both recovered from covid and 8 days inside with one another had definitely sent us a little doolally. Happy New Year!! And what better way to start the year than a brand new episode of Celebrity Book Club. This months episode we discuss the comic book 'Superman - True Brit' which looks to reimagine the origins of Superman and discusses what if Superman had been raised by British parents in Weston-super-mare. This comic book was co written by John Cleese and has a few trade mark Monty Pythonisms contained with in. Enjoy!!

Episode 2! This weeks episode relates to the novel Dollhouse written by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian. We try and work out what is fact and what is fiction between the lives of the Kardashians and the Romeros. Enjoy!
