In Good Hands

"People keep saying he's not really gone, as long as we remember him. But it still hurts." – Hiro Hamada.......“No. I can't lose you, too.” – Hiro Hamada“Hiro, I will always be with you…” – Baymax“...I'm satisfied with my care.” – Hiro Hamada- (Disney's Big Hero 6, 2014)..And you are even more precious to Him than a beautiful bird. If He looks after them, of course He will look after you…” (Matthew 6:26)…He has said, “I will never leave you; I will always be by your side.” Because of this promise, we may boldly say, “the Lord is my help– I won’t be afraid of anything. How can anyone harm me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6)Step By Faith:Jesus reminds us that our Heavenly Father faithfully provides, and Hebrews reminds us that He will never leave us. Today, open your hands as a symbol of the worries, fears, and pain you are holding onto, and place them under God’s loving care– trusting in Him. He will always be with you, therefore, you will always be in good hands.Verses for Thought:Matthew 6:26 / Hebrews 13:5-6 / John 17:16 / Ephesians 2:10 / 2 Corinthians 5:17 / John 15:19 / 1 Timothy 6:12 / 2 Corinthians 1:4,6-7; 5:20 / Matthew 24:35; 28:20 / 1 Peter 5:7Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, are enjoying this season, and/or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, provide feedback, and/or would like to hear an episode or a season in reference to your favorite Disney/Pixar film, feel free to reach out to me via email @ [email protected]. The Banquets All Prepared

“...Don't believe me? Ask the dishes. They can sing, they can dance, after all, Miss, this is France! And a dinner here is never second best. Go on, unfold your menu, take a glance, and then you'll be our guest, oui, our guest, be our guest…”….“…come on and lift your glass, you've won your own free pass, to be our guest. If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest. Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest!” - (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, 1991)“There's no need to be frightened. I intend to treat you kindly for the sake of your father, Jonathan, who was my loyal friend. I will return to you all the territory that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always be welcome at my table” (2 Samuel 9:7).Step By Faith:Just as King David welcomed Mephibosheth to have a seat at his table, God welcomes you with His love, mercy, and acceptance to sit with Him. Today, whether you’re sitting in your car on the way to work, sitting in a meeting, or sitting at the dinner table, let every empty seat remind you that there is always a place for you in God's presence, and His kindness changes everything.Verses for Thought:2 Samuel 9:7 / Revelation 3:20 / Romans 10:17 / 2 Peter 3:9 / Psalm 23:5 / Luke 14:13-14 / Revelation 19:6-9 / Matthew 11:28-30 / Psalm 46:7 / John 20:7 / 2 Timothy 1:7 / Hebrews 4:16 / John 6:35 / Proverbs 3:3 / Luke 11:33Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, are enjoying this season, and/or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, provide feedback, and/or would like to hear an episode or a season in reference to your favorite Disney/Pixar film, feel free to reach out to me via email @ [email protected]. Not One Step Is Wasted

“It may feel impossible, but sometimes you just have to take the first step, even before you're ready” - Sisu (Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, 2021)."We have a choice to build or destroy, to fight or to come together. Love is a bridge and trust is a gift; we give it and it gets better. There's an energy in the water. There is magic deep in our heart. There's a legacy that we honor when we bring the light to the dark. Whatever brings us together can never tear us apart. We become stronger than ever when we just trust" - (Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon, 2021).Your word is a lamp for my steps; it lights the path before me (Psalm 119:105).After everyone was full, Jesus told His disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted” (John 6:12).Step By Faith:Psalm 119:105 reminds us that God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. A lamp doesn't reveal the whole journey—it gives enough light for the next step. Today, trust God with taking the first step– even if what’s in front of you seems impossible. Let Him guide the rest of your steps in His perfect timing. Not one step is wasted.Verses for Thought:Psalm 119:105 / John 6:12 / Matthew 19:26 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Proverbs 3:5-6 / Joel 2:25 / Psalm 118:6-9 / Isaiah 49:23 / Psalm 27:14 / John 14:27 / Psalm 37:5 / Ephesians 4:3 / 1 Corinthians 1:10 / Colossians 3:15 / Romans 8:31-38-39Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, are enjoying this season, and/or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, provide feedback, and/or would like to hear an episode or a season in reference to your favorite Disney/Pixar film, feel free to reach out to me via email @ [email protected]. Embrace the Panda

“I've never met nobody like you. Had friends and I've had buddies, it's true, but they don't turn my tummy the way you do. I've never met nobody like you…” - 4*Town (Disney/Pixar's Turning Red, 2022).It is true, Eternal One, that You know everything and everyone. You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder …. Even then You will be there to guide me; Your right hand will embrace me, for You are always there…. (Psalm 139:4-5, 10).Step By Faith:Before you ever speak a word, God already knows your heart. He surrounds you with His love and gently leads your life. Today, choose to see yourself through His eyes—not through comparison, criticism, or fear, but as someone fully known, deeply loved, and wonderfully created for His purpose– for He made you, and there’s nobody like you! From Gloom to Glow

“Flower, gleam and glow, let your powers shine. Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt….” - Rapunzel (Disney's Tangled, 2010).For I will make you well again and heal your wounds. I, the Eternal One, declare to you, because they have called you an outcast: “Look, it is Zion, the one for whom no one cares” (Jeremiah 30:17-18).Also, the Spirit helps us. We are very weak, but the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We don’t know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself speaks to God for us. He begs God for us, speaking to Him with feelings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).Step By Faith:God promises to bring healing and restoration to what has been hurt, and the Holy Spirit prays for us even when we don't have the words. Today, bring your needs to Him, trust Him with the process, and watch how He faithfully writes your story of restoration in His timing.Verses for Thought:Jeremiah 30:17-18 / Romans 8:26 / Philippians 2:13 / Isaiah 43:19 / 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 16 / James 1:17 / Isaiah 43:13 / Proverbs 3:5-6 / Romans 8:28 / Genesis 50:20Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, are enjoying this season, and/or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, provide feedback, and/or would like to hear an episode or a season in reference to your favorite Disney/Pixar film, feel free to reach out to me via email @ [email protected]. A Hoot and a Half

“Adventure is a wonderful thing! Pack only the essentials, I'll tell you what to bring. Your strength, your nerve, your hearts, your wits. And for Skullosaurus attacks, First Aid Kits” - Owl (Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, 1997).I consider Your Word to be my greatest treasure, and I treasure it in my heart to keep me from turning away from You (Psalm 119:21, TPT).Step By Faith:A compass keeps you from getting lost. God's Word does the same for your heart. Today, let every glance at a compass remind you to follow His direction instead of your own- it will be a grand adventure.Verses for Thought:Psalm 119:21 / Psalm 118:24 / Matthew 22:11-17 / Ecclesiastes 3:1-13 / Psalm 30:5 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / John 1:5 / 2 Corinthians 4:7 / Joshua 1:9 / 1 John 1:7 / John 15:15 / Psalm 119:105 / Isaiah 41:10Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. Two or Three or Four

“With a few good friends and a stick or two, a house is built at a corner called Pooh. With a friend and a stick or three or four, a house is built where it wasn't before” - Carly Simon (Disney's Piglet's Big Movie, 2003).Ask yourself what you want others to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up the Old Testament and the New Testament of God’s Word and this is what you get (Matthew 7:12, MSG).Step By Faith:Jesus makes it simple: treat people the way you want to be treated. Today, become the blessing you're hoping to receive. You never know how one act of kindness can change someone's day! Verses for Thought:Matthew 7:12 / Matthew 12:34 / Philippians 2:4, 4:19 / Luke 12:27-40 / Genesis 12:14 / Philippians 2:4, 4:19 / Luke 12:27-40 / Genesis 12:14 / Acts 20:35 / Psalm 37:16 / Luke 14:28 / Matthew 17:20 / Psalm 27:13Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. A Happy Tune

"We're three happy chappies, with snappy serapes, you'll find us beneath our sombreros” - Donald Duck, José Carioca (the Brazilian parrot), and Panchito Pistoles (the Mexican rooster) (Disney's The Three Caballeros, 1944).And your hearts will overflow with a joyful song to the Lord. Keep speaking to each other with words of Scripture, singing the Psalms with praises and spontaneous songs given by the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18-19, TPT)!Step By Faith:Ephesians 5 reminds us to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to encourage one another with songs of praise. Today, let worship become the soundtrack of your day and watch how it lifts your heart toward God. Verses for Thought:Ephesians 5:18-19 / Psalm 139:4 / Psalm 34:17 / Colossians 3:2 / Philippians 4:7 / Romans 12:2 / John 16:27-33 / Matthew 24:35 / Proverbs 16:24, 17:22 / Psalm 139:4, Psalm 37:4 / Zephaniah 3:17Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. Ask, Seek, Knock At The Door

“Please, don't shut me out again. Please, don't slam the door. You don't have to keep your distance anymore - I finally understand. For the first time in forever, we can fix this hand in hand. We can head down this mountain together. You don't have to live in fear ‘cause for the first time in forever, I will be right here” - Anna (Disney’s Frozen, 2013).Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what they ask for. Every persistent seeker will discover what they long for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door (Matthew 7:7-8, TPT).But everyone my Father has given to Me, they will come. And all who come to Me, I will embrace and will never turn them away (John 6:37, TPT).Step By Faith:Jesus didn't just tell us to ask once—He invited us to keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Today, turn ordinary moments into reminders that God hears your prayers and is at work even when you can't yet see the answer. Verses for Thought:Matthew 7:7-8 / John 6:37 / Psalm 34:18 / Psalm 145:18 / James 4:8 / Hebrews 13:5 / Romans 8:38-39 / Matthew 28:20 / Jeremiah 29:13 / 1 John 2:1 / Romans 8:31 / Habakkuk 2:3 / Galatians 6:9Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. Digga Never Done-a

“Digga tunnah. Dig, digga tunnah. Keep-a digga, never get done-a. Digga tunnah. Dig, digga tunnah. What was that? Quick, before the hyenas come” - (Disney's The Lion King 1 ½, 2004).So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9, NLT).Step By Faith:Just because you can't see the growth doesn't mean nothing is happening. Keep watering the seeds God has planted. In the right season, you will reap a harvest if you don't give up. Verses for Thought:Galatians 6:9 / Psalm 27:13-14 / Philippians 2:12-15, 3:14-15 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Ephesians 3:20-21 / Joshua 1:9 / Acts 17:28 / Romans 11:36 / 2 Corinthians 5:7 / Proverbs 3:5-6Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. Head Which-Wayer

“Do ya need a break from modern living? Do ya long to shed your weary load? If your nerves are raw and your brain is fried, just grab a friend and take a ride together upon the open road.”“There's nothing that can upset me because now we're on our way, our trusty map will guide us straight and through.” - Goofy (Disney’s A Goofy Movie, 1995).You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction (Proverbs 14:12, TPT).Step By Faith:Not every path that looks good leads to life. Today, let every sign you see remind you to seek God's trusty map for wisdom and direction before making decisions. Verses for Thought:Proverbs 14:12 / John 14:6 / Isaiah 30:21 / Ephesians 4:26-27 / Proverbs 3:11-12 / John 16:13 / Genesis 50:20 / Luke 3:5 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Isaiah 43:1 / Romans 8:28 / Matthew 7:13-14Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. Beloved Child of Mine

“If they knew sweet little you, they'd end up loving you too. All those same people who scold you, what they'd give just for the right to hold you. From your head to your toes, you're not much, goodness knows. But you're so precious to me, cute as can be, baby of mine.” - Mrs. Jumbo (Disney's Dumbo, 1941)You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought (Psalm 139:16-18, TPT)!Step By Faith:Every time you look at the sky today, remember that God is thinking about you. Straight from Heaven up above, His love, care, and plans for your life are far greater than you can imagine.Verses for Thought:Psalm 139 / Matthew 8:26 / Romans 8:28 / 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 / 1 Peter 5:9 / Genesis 50:20 / Zephaniah 3:17 / 2 Corinthians 4:7 / Romans 8:38-39 / Matthew 5:14-16Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. “Now the sun will rise in the east, but I'm barking at the moon. There is no home like the one you've got 'cause that home belongs to you.” - (Disney’s Bolt, 2008)He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12, NLT).Step By Faith:God doesn't just forgive our sins—He removes them. Today, let this be a reminder that what God has covered with His grace no longer defines your future. So Peter stepped out onto the water and began to walk toward Jesus (Matthew 14:29, TPT).Step By Faith:Peter experienced the miracle when he stepped out of the boat and onto the surface of the water. Though he became afraid and started to sink, the Lord immediately reached out and lifted above the waters. Your step by faith today may be where you see God move in your life too. Fastened Toward The Future!

“The future has arrived. The future has arrived. The future has arrived. The future has arrived. The future's arrived. Nobody can doubt. The future is what everything's about. It's better for you and it's better for me. It's better than what everybody thought it would be” - (Disney's Meet the Robinsons, 2007 / the song also plays at the end of the film by The All-American Rejects).“The truth will set you free, brother” - Wilbur Robinson (Disney's Meet the Robinsons, 2007).I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead (Philippians 3:13, TPT).Step By Faith:God is calling you forward, not backward. Don’t let yesterday keep you from moving forward toward what He has ahead for you in Todayland and Tomorrowland.Verses for Thought:Philippians 3:13 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Revelation 1:8 / Job 14:5 / Isaiah 43:19 / Joshua 1:9 / Revelation 1:8 / Romans 8:28 / Ephesians 3:20-24Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. Left Unfinished

“Come on! I know it's a dump, but it's all I got." - Vanellope von Schweetz (Disney's Wreck It Ralph, 2012)Vanellope says this to Ralph when she shows him where she lives, and her secret unfinished racetrack in Diet Cola Mountain. Ralph then makes a drivable track to help train her how to drive her newly made go-kart they built together.Keep your eyes on Jesus, Who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—He could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now He’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God the Father (Hebrews 12:2, MSG).Step By Faith:Don’t let the distractions of today steal your focus. Keep your eyes on the One Who leads you forward with joy and purpose to finish the race of your faith in Him.Verses for Thought:Hebrews 12:2 / Philippians 1:6 / 2 Corinthians 3:18 / Proverbs 22:6 / 2 Corinthians 5:7 / Romans 10:17 / Romans 12:2 / Genesis 9:6 / Revelation 22:13Email Me!If you enjoyed today's episode, or if you have any comments, questions, want to leave a review, or provide your feedback, feel free to send me an email @ [email protected]. No Other Place to Be

The Edge of The Water

“I've been staring at the edge of the water ‘long as I can remember, never really knowing why. I wish I could be the perfect daughter, but I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try. Every turn I take, every trail I track, every path I make, every road leads back to the place I know, where I cannot go, where I long to be. See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me and no one knows how far it goes. If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me, one day I'll know. If I go, there's just no telling how far I'll go” - Moana (Disney's Moana, 2016).Peter, suddenly bold, said, “Master, if it’s really you, call me to come to You on the water.”He said, “Come ahead.” Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!”Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand.
