Former T’Wolves Star Kevin Love made his season debut for Miami, scoring six points and adding six boards and two steals in just 13 minutes. Jaime Jacques Jr (illness) returned from a three-game absence to score seven straight points late in the 3rd to end Miami’s 6:00+ scoreless run. Spoelstra went deep tonight, with eleven Heat players seeing action, and ten of them scoring. Miami was without star Jimmy Butler, who sat out with the sprained right ankle he suffered in Friday’s loss at Denver. Anthony Edwards scored 22 points on just 8-for-24 shooting (3-13 from 3) for the Wolves, who trailed by 12 points early after a 3-for-15 start from 3-point land. Julius Randle added 16 pts on 6-16 shooting. The Heat turned the ball over 23 times, 11 more than their season average. But Miami’s defense was relentless, with 14 steals and nine blocks, all season highs.
