Wilson bets 35,000 with his overpair and a backdoor flush draw. Coleman calls in position with two overcards, the nut flush draw, a backdoor wheel draw, and a backdoor broadway straight draw. Peters folds and they head to the turn. Turn – 7s: The 7 of spades on the turn completes the flush, giving Coleman the nuts and leaving Wilson drawing dead with his pocket kings. After Wilson checks, Coleman bets 105,000. Wilson, holding a backdoor king-high flush draw, makes the call. River – 6s: A fourth club lands on the river, turning Wilson’s pocket kings into the king-high flush, only losing to the nut flush or a straight flush.
