About this episode
Thanks to iFanboy Patrons , it's Talksplode time. Ibrahim Moustafa has made a very cool career in comics over the last decade. As a kid very into breakdancing in the Pacific Northwest, he decided to make a go at being a comics artist. Since that time, he has drawn for Marvel and DC, been nominated for an Eisner for High Crimes , created several of his own stories, written and drawn James Bond comics, culminating in the recent release of the graphic novel, Count , from Humanoids. The first of a three book deal from Humanoids, it's a sci-fi reimagining of the classic The Count of Monte Cristo , by Alexandre Dumas. It's a fantastic success story in comics, and there's even some iFanboy history in there as well. Follow Ibrahim on Twitter . and Instagram , as well as his website .
