Those things are Proactive Lead Generation, Furiously Fast Lead Follow Up, Prequalifying, Presenting, Negotiating, and Closing . By evaluating the purpose and impact of our daily tasks, we can discern between meaningful pursuits and mere distractions, ultimately aligning our actions with our values and goals. In other words, he recognized that many actions are ‘work theatre’, possibly even unnecessary. It’s the difference between being busy and being productive. William Covey would agree with Seneca (and with us!). He said: "The key is in not spending time, but in investing it." Reviewing your time diary helps identify activities that drain your time and energy. Whether it's excessive social media scrolling or aimless meetings, recognizing time-wasting behaviors allows for intentional adjustments to reclaim valuable time.
