Put that book in your office, place the flowers on your desk, wear that scarf when you go out to coffee. Show off your appreciation. 13 - Let people know when you’re thinking of them, especially if you can make them laugh. “I thought of you today when I was at the dentist and how you taught me to think of something else when I heard that drilling noise!” 14 - Pay it forward. When you see someone behind you in line counting their dollar bills, give the cashier $5 or $10 toward their bill. Pay for the person behind you in the Starbucks drive-through. 15 - Say you’re sorry sincerely and be specific , even when you feel like you didn’t really do anything wrong.
