Most people tend to think that financial advisors are better at predicting the future of the markets or possess specialized knowledge that will help you make better stock picks and investment decisions. While there may be a very small amount of that involved, most of the time it’s not the case. A good financial advisor should be in the loop simply because you need them to be your point of accountability and voice of reason in the event that you want to make an emotional decision based on current conditions.
