Tis the season to chat about trashy holiday horror! In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian dig deep into Santa's sack and hit the tippy bottom and come up with 1980's "To All A Goodnight". With arguably one of the worst VHS covers for a vintage Christmas slasher, this one doubles down by also being directed by the super creep from Last House on the Left, David Hess. However what it lacks in art, story and star power they fill in with blood, boobs, Santa and the one and only Harry Reems. So win win win!? This festive flick is currently streaming on TUBI so go give it a watch and join the FM3 for some Xmas fun! Happy Holidays!
Dec 12
In this episode, keeping with the winter frosty theme from last week, The FM3 hit the slopes and freeze their giggle berries off checking out Adam Green's "Frozen" from 2010. This film is a simple survival horror film but it sure does get the crew talking about their fears, tribulations and stories about hot doggin' out in the icy mountains as well as other remote locals like Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Singapore. So get a jacket and some mittens because It's about to get real cold in here and whatever you do, don't call The Ski Patrol!
Dec 5
The FM3 decided to kick off December by heading to Antarctica to check out some space skin that some Norwegians found buried deep in the freezing snow. Little do they know they will be overtaken by an alien lifeform just like in the 1982 John Carpenter classic "The Thing". Thankfully for you listeners, the only real change you will notice is Jef, Josh and Brian may choose some "good" movies more often and oh yeah they are all connected together and are a huge mess of flesh now. But other than those two things, everything you love about the podcast will remain the same, that is until the guys get their silly little flying saucer built out of old hot dog cans and lawn mower engines. So sit back friends, enjoy this episode and let the Forever Midnight Podcast take over your mind and body!

In this episode, the FM3 decided to field some more listener voicemails since it's been a crazy week. The crew kinda loses their shit in this episode and they hope you are along for the ride. Sometimes your past selves can bring happiness to the present. What better time to laugh and be happy then right now when those things are sometimes few and far between. Jef, Josh and Brian hope you are having a wonderful week and remember going into the holidays please support local shops, small businesses and always, always the underdog. Forever Midnight is forever thankful for all of you wonderful listeners and the wonderful patrons over on Patreon. Enjoy your weekend and the guys we will be back next week with a new episode talking about horror!
Nov 21
It's that time of year when most folks are diving into a pile of mash potatoes but Jef, Josh and Brian figured they were ready to dive into Eli Roth's 2023 film "Thanksgiving"! Yup, finally a proper Thanksgiving themed horror film with all the fixings plus room for dessert or as they say in Hollywood a "sequel". This episode starts out strong with some killer smells and then finally onto the main course. Jump to the 19:00 minute mark if you wanna skip right to the meat and cranberry sauce of the episode. The crew hopes you enjoy this episode and that you all stay safe and happy over this next holiday week. We are so thankful for all our listeners, our wonderful Patrons on Patreon and of course our Sponsors. Be sure to support them as you head into gift giving season!
Nov 15
It's Gnarvember folks! The time of year that Jef, Josh and Brian celebrate horror movies that feature Heavy Metal and or hard rock bands! This time around the FM3 check out 1987's "Slaughterhouse Rock" starring the one and only Toni Basil! This flick interested our brave heroes because it takes place in SF and on Alcatraz. So of course the guys wanted to dip in and see what hard rock delights awaited them. If you have not seen this one and want to play along you can stream "Slaughterhouse Rock" on Prime Video and ScreamBox. Enjoy!
Nov 7
In this episode, the FM3 decided to check in on the listener voicemails that have been piling up. Once again, Jef, Josh and Brian had a great time listening to some messages and rambling about this and that. They had high hopes that they would tackle a bunch of messages but time flies because it is fake and before they knew it, the episode had to end. So the boys will be doing more of these in the future, so be sure to call and leave a message on the FM hotline at 707-327-2984! Forever Midnight will be back next week with another movie review episode!
Oct 31
It's Halloween and your friends at Forever Midnight have some treats for ya! This year the crew chose at Jef's suggestion the made for TV movie from 1985 "The Midnight Hour"! There is a very good chance lots of you folks know this one and maybe even saw it when it aired way back when. It is chock full of all kinds of now known folks and some now unknown folks that were more well known in the 70's and 80's hahah even Dom DeLuise's little shit of a kid is stinking this one up. If you have not seen this one it's up on Youtube and you can even get DVD's of it! It has lots of Halloween vibes so it's a good one to play on All Hallow's Eve! Josh, Jef and Brian get into a lengthy discussion about candy and snack perfectly on theme for the holiday but if you wanna go straight to the movie talk, start around the 17 minute mark. For you Forever Midnight Fiends the crew also just dropped a brand new Halloween episode on Patreon talking about Haunt from 2019!! So get your candy sack filled with some FM goodies! Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
Oct 17
In this episode it was Jef's turn to pick a movie for the crew to watch and chat about, Brian and Josh figured after their stinky picks recently Jef was going to elevate the situation and pick a good movie. Well Jef decided it was only fair to stoop to their level and dig into the dumpster for a nice ripe one. Of course he would never just do any old thing, he will always make sure there are at the very least good actors attached to his pick. He was not wrong, he chose 1995's "Hideaway" starring Jeff Goldblum, Alicia Silverstone, Jeremy Sisto, Rae Dawn Chong and Alfred Molina! A whole stack of somebodies! Alas even with all that star power, Hideaway might be best appreciated by those that saw it when it came out, or who knows maybe it is your future favorite movie? Either way The FM3 dig into it and come out the other side forever touched by Heaven and Hell, and revived and ready for the next episode. So win win? Enjoy!
Oct 10
In this episode it was Josh's turn to pick a movie for the guys to watch and chat about. He got so excited that he completely forgot about the ban on Charles Band movies that the FM3 made a blood oath on just mere episodes ago. But instead of choosing something else Brian, Jef and Josh dive dick first into the deep dark dumpster that holds The Charles Band Archives and resurfaced with "The Dungeonmaster" from 1984. Listeners you too can play at home in the Chuck Band Dumpster and watch Richard Moll and the Fondacaro brothers get horribly underused and at the same time see some of John Carl Buechler's Troll and Ghoulies puppet rejects, and really what more could you ask from a "horror" movie?
Oct 2
In this episode, the reigns are given to Brian to steer the guys at a flick to chat about. After very very little thought he decided to finally unleash the surreal nightmare that is the one and only "Skinned Deep" starring Warwick Davis!! Knowing full well that Jef and Josh would hate this movie, he waited until the perfect moment, and that perfect moment is now and why is the perfect moment now you might ask? The answer is that it was the first movie to pop into his little pea brain and now everyone gets to experience this wild ass movie. He says, you are welcome! Now enjoy the show!
Sep 23
In this episode the FM3 pay respects to the one and only lying ass Warren's with a little chat about the newest installment in the Conjuring universe "Last Rites". It's that time of year again when Brian and Josh can't remember if it is a Conjuring movie or a Insidious movie and tbh do they even care? At this point, our brave heroes feel like they are living in a groundhog's day of endless ghost cliches with no end in sight. Luckily this is the last one...right?
Sep 9
In this episode one of the FM3's Patreon Top Dawgs picked a movie that the guys were very skeptical about and never imagined watching it. Having heard the name and seen the VHS artwork Jef, Josh and Brian could only imagine that this flick was nothing more than a janky music video for Boris Pickett & The Crypt Kicker 5's punishing jam "The Monster Mash". Thank goodness it wasn't and because It is actually a pretty fun horror anthology with some cool musical numbers. Plus you get a monster sized dose of Vincent Price and John Carradine as the book ends of each of the stories and boy oh boy they are hamming it up and down. The best part is that Boris Pickett was nowhere to be found and for the Forever Midnight boys that meant this flick might not stink to high heavens like the Wolfman's nards or the Crypt Kickers crypt knickers.
Sep 2
In this episode, one of the Forever Midnight's Patreon Top Dawgs picked a movie for the FM3 to chat about and even sent a gift across the pond. Mysteriously, this gift just happened to arrive the very day the guys were sitting down to record his special episode!! Some might call that a coincidence, but Jef, Josh and Brian call it a coinkydink or more possibly good old fashioned stalking…hmmm? How did he know when the guys were recording? How did he know they like gifts? How did he know where to send them gifts? Do you know where to send them gifts? Well, regardless of the impending restraining order against the crew's favorite Brit-Ish Cabbie, the guys got to check off their watch list for another teen slasher flick from the 80's! The one and only Slaughter High!! So grab a seat, cause this is a fun episode. Remember folks that if you prank, torture and disfigure a person, they will probably totally forgive and forget and you will get to live a long guilt free life! Just remember to always yell "April Fool's Day!" so you can't get in trouble!! Hooray!!
Aug 27

Aug 19
In this episode, the FM3 get to check out the much anticipated and mysterious horror flick "Weapons" by the director of 2022's "Barbarian", Mr. Zach Cregger. The boys were excited by how little they all collectively knew about this one, but the small teasers had them baited and ready to run (hands down) to the theater as soon as they could! As usual, spoilers lie ahead folks. Jef, Josh and Brian highly recommend you check out this one with your creepy Aunt while it's still on the big screen! Enjoy!
Aug 13
In this week's episode, Jef, Josh and Brian are so happy to be back at the movie theater watching a brand new horror flick! The FM3 sit down for Michael Shanks "Together" starring Alison Brie and her real life husband Dave Franco. Hopes were high and little was known about this project for The Forever Midnight Crew. The convo after viewing got a little hot in a few spots, tempers were raging and the lack of dong shots dominated some of the chat but that's how it goes when talking about Body Horror in a post The Substance world. (There was an audio issue in this ep with one of the mics, apologies). Thank you for listening!
Aug 5
In this episode the FM3 tackle another Top Dawg Patreon Flick!! The guys find themselves court-side with a little known 90's gem called "The Catcher". Jef, Josh and Brian were hoping for a World Cup worthy slasher, but at the end of the quarter there was no such luck and instead The Forever Midnight Crew felt more like Joe Estevez's head after getting bonked with a baseball bat!! GOAL!!! You too can feel the bonk of "The Catcher" streaming for free on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/RLyg6NLOwQc?si=SpbwdizS7gDVhNuo
Jul 29
This week, Jef has chosen one of his late-aughts faves: 2008's 'The Ruins'. Brian comes to terms with the fact that he requires his horror villains to have a face - preferably one made of rubber - and Josh is again frustrated with Jef's determination to bring actual good movies to the dinner table. Because he prefers the taste of crap. Although the social media video sensation known as 'Vines' wouldn't take off until five years later, this white-privilege, vacation-friends, major-label body-horror gem features vines front and center, atop a pyramid! And while this same year, M. Night's 'The Happening' would feature the fjärts of the plant world, 'The Ruins' focuses more on the teeth, the viscera, the mimicry and the invasion! Plug in your green thumb and enjoy!
Jul 22
In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian are treated to another Top Dawg Patreon Pick! This time around the FM3 get wet ankles in an abandoned, rusty ex military installation in Japan that houses some sinister secrets. That's right, The FM3 are checking out "Evil Dead Trap" from 1988!! This flick's name alone is enough to get you to watch it, but for whatever reason the Forever Midnight crew had never checked it. Thankfully the crew has some truly wonderful Patrons over on Patreon that throw them some picks out of left field and for that the guys at FM salute you! You too can join the fun by streaming "Evil Dead Trap" now on Plex, Screambox, Prime Video, AMC+ and Fandor!
Jul 15
In this episode, Brian thought it would be fun to hike out into the wilderness for some summer slasher action and picked "The Prey" from 1983. Slashering was slightly highlighted in this budget flick but not as much as all the crazy critters thrown in to pad the run time. This movie is part Temu Friday the 13th, part Mutual Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with just a tiny sprinkle of the Addams Family. The perfect recipe to leave you plopped down criss cross applesauce right in the campfire! Streaming now on TUBI!!
Jul 8
In this episode the FM3 head to Texarkana to watch and chat about 2014's "The Town That Dreaded Sundown". This flick was served up by one of Forever Midnight's beloved Top Dawg Patrons over on Patreon. Thankfully they were forced to check it out which was just the push they needed! Jef, Josh and Brian had half expected another Scream rip-off, so they had somewhat avoided it for years but were all curious about this requel and the real life murders that inspired the original in 1976. So prepare yourself to be transported to a land beyond time, a land of moonlight murders and trombones that have the taste for human blood!! Join us over on Patreon at Patreon.com/forevermidnight for over 80 exclusive episodes!
Jun 30
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian do the unthinkable, the unfathomable...they decided to watch another Dracula movie! Yes, you read that correctly and yes, right after just tackling Full Moon's Subspecies on their Patreon!!! This time around these brave podcasters dipped into the drug blood and finally watched Frank Langella's Dracula from 1979. The FM3 have long been curious about the fabled "Disco Dracula" only to learn the cold hard undead truth. So grab your garlic and find a nice comfy seat as Forever Midnight dig into what some say is maybe the most seductive, charming and sinister Count Dracula.
Jun 23
In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian are back at the movie theater to check out the newest installment of the 28 Days Later franchise with Danny Boyle's 28 Years Later. After seeing the stellar trailer they released for this film, The FM3 were super excited to grab some popcorn and see what the rage virus has been doing and stewing for the last 28 years? Turns out folks are still raging, and some are raging out in very big ways, an alternate title could be 28 Inches Later. Go see it today!
Jun 16
It's that time of year again, June baby!! One of Forever Midnight's favorite friends and Top Dawg Patrons is having a Birthday this month and asked if instead of choosing a movie if he could have Jef, Josh and Brian chat about a couple of Tales From The Crypt episodes. The FM3 couldn't be happier than to jump back into the tight dank coffin with the Crypt Keeper himself and dust off some of these fun tales of terror! So if you listeners wanna play along at home the episodes discussed in this podcast are: Season 4 - Episode 6 = "What's Cookin?" & Season 2 - Episode 9 = "Four sided Triangle"! These episodes are available on Youtube for free and you should definitely watch them before you listen, unless you know them by heart like the one and only Sylar Bedoya, then Just sit back and enjoy!! Happy Birthday Sylar and thank you for the years and years of support and love!
Jun 9
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian head to the theater to check out the newest fright fest from the guys that made you shit your diaper with 2022's "Talk To Me", The Philippou brothers! The FM3 all had very physical and emotional reactions to "Bring Her Back" and as the credits rolled they all realized how tense and rowdy that journey was but also recognized that these guys are truly pushing horror and making folks scared again. Which is cool and horrible at the same time! Sit back and listen as the Forever Midnight crew try to recover from this brilliant and rough master work of horror.
May 30
This week Jef decided enough was enough so he picked a good movie for a change of scenery. What "good" movie do you ask? One right in Jef's sweet spot, none other than 1990's "MISERY"! Josh and Brian were caught off guard by this "good" movie pick thrown into the mix. They were not quite sure if they were bummed or excited to watch James Caan stink up a bed for 2 hours, but the one thing they did know is this would not be a difficult film to watch this week and talk about. Sure they may have had their reasons for the lackluster reception to Jef's pick, but they knew in their hearts this would be a nice break from the dog shit they usually watch...and LOVE. Plus they knew the listener's would probably hoist Jef upon their shoulders and hail him as their saviour....at least for this week.
May 23
In this episode it is Brian's week to choose a movie and he decides to choose one that has been haunting him for some time, even though he has never seen it! Something caught his eye and sat in the back of his head until this week when he finally made Jef and Josh watch the 1981 zombie invasion film "Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror"! At first glance it seemed to be just another run of the mill Italian zombie flick with slow ass walking dead, cheap zombie makeups and a plot that is buried deeper than most of the zombies in the film, but the casting of a single man sets this movie apart from almost all other italian zombie movies. You gotta watch it!
May 16
The FM3 have been dealing with being sick and injured this past week so they decided to unleash an episode recorded in 2021 from the Patreon Exclusive Episode Archive (There are over 80 episodes on our Patreon by the way..wink wink) The film in question is James Gunn's 2006 bump & lump fest "Slither"! This is a fun episode because the guys actually like this movie so it's jumps all over the place, touching and stroking all the space worms and topics. Plus there is a conversation at the very end of the episode that shows The Forever Midnight crew is truly touched with the gift of predicting the future, in this case the future of James Gunn's film projects. Enjoy!
May 9
In this episode one of Forever Midnight 's Top Dawgs from Patreon picked a little unsung horror flick from 2001 called "Session 9". This is one of those rare occasions when a film has a shoestring budget and a simple premise but is done well and you end up with a huge abandoned asylum filled with dread, perfect for getting creeped out while watching with headphones in the dark. THe FM3 were very excited to finally chat about this one and try to uncover what REALLY happened to the poor characters. For you loyal listeners this movie was even on Josh's Top 20 list of the Past 20 episode ! (#133 that was released on January 6th, 2020) Sit back and listen to the crew chip away at the toxic tiles of this spooky mind melter!
May 2
In this episode the FM3 are so very happy to leave space in the rear view mirror and steer their escape pod toward something new and refreshing. Something thought provoking, something good! That something being the box office powerhouse "Sinners" by writer/director Ryan Coogler that has been breaking records left and right since it was released. It's been a minute since Jef, Josh and Brian have all equally loved and were excited to chat about a horror film and rightfully so. If you have not seen this gift of cinema yet, please go see it before Forever Midnight spoils it all for you! It is a genuine treat and the boys can't get enough!
Apr 25
In this episode the heroic cosmonauts Jef, Josh and Brian saved their last intergalactic horror chat for what is probably the most well known franchise to make it to the stars, the one and only "Jason X"! The crew aboard the SS Forever Midnight have grown weary and fear their bones and brains have been affected by the long journey through space and time. Their teeth have gotten skinny and Brian is experiencing celestial walnut brain syndrome. It is time to get back to earth 1, time to reintegrate back into human society. Soaring in the heavens this past month was a great idea on paper, but the cost physically and mentally for the crew was astro-nomical!
Apr 18
It is week three of the "Forever Midnight Goes To Space" bonanza and Jef, Josh and Brian are finally gettin' used to zero gravity and huffing farts in their space helmets. This time around the FM3 make a wish that Leprechaun 4 will hopefully not be as much of a boring mess as Critters 4, and who knows maybe they will find some gold hidden on some far off Mardi Gras planet?! Who knows maybe they will even witness a real life Leprechaun shootin' a pistol, you never know...it could happen! So tighten the buckles on your wee shoes cause this trip into space might get a little bumpy and lumpy!
Apr 11
In this week's episode the FM3 are back in the space saddle! They may have breached some movie watching etiquette by watching 1992's Critters 4 before Critters 3 but they believe this was the best course of action as they needed another franchise horror space movie! (Slim pickens out there) After all, it is Forever Midnight goes to space in April 2025! So after decontamination, fasten your safety belts, grab a snack and beam yourself up into the stars!. It's time to visit some little hairy goobers!
Apr 4
Kicking off "Forever Midnight Goes To Space" month, The FM3 are starting with 1996's Hellraiser: Bloodline. Jef, Josh and Brian were told that this is the episode in the franchise that they get to see Pinhead in outer space! How could they not start with this obvious masterpiece, afterall Alan Smithee directed it, what could go wrong?! So please secure the airlock and fasten your seatbelt because this episode is gonna have some space turbulence and probably some space flatulence, so make sure that you have enough oxygen to make it through the whole episode. We have such shites to show you! Enjoy earthings!
Mar 28
The FM3 are back this week with a brand new Top Dawg Patreon Pick! Jef, Josh and Brian are going back to College and the poison that was choison for them was 2015's indie comedy/horror flick "Dude Bro Party Massacre 3"! They don't know if they are gonna love it or hate it, but they do know it's gonna be a massacre. So sit back as the crew heads for the lake cabin with all their dude bro friends to party and to try their hardest not be killed or worse yet to get their noses booped.
Mar 21
In this week's episode, The FM3 dig into the 2011 Survival Horror film "The Grey". This was picked by a top level Patreon Patron and is one that Jef, Josh and Brian did not have on their planes radar. That said, they happily welcomed a film with some top shelf actors and a story that Chuck Band didn't produce! So gather round the fire cause this is gonna be a cold couple nights. The crew is hunkered down amidst the wreckage of a downed plane and of course there is a pack of wolves just waiting to snack on a group of frozen dude-sicles. As the wolves' bellies are filling up on man meat, it's time to decide to keep hangin' around the plane or to venture off yonder into the deep dark forest. What would you do? How would you survive? Would you eat a dude? Asking for a friend...
Mar 14
In this episode the FM3 get into some lesser known territory, that of an Academy Award winning horror film. One of Forever Midnight's Top Dawg Patreon Patrons paid the big bucks and made Jef, Josh and Brian watch and review 1991's Silence Of the Lambs. Historically the crew rarely watch any movie with an IMDB rating above a 6, but holy Hannibal shit, this baby is an 8.6 on IMDB and even that seems low for this beloved fan favorite. So get ready, The boys are finally hopping in a jacuzzi filled to the tippy top with fava beans and Chianti just marinating and talking about what is arguably one of the most loved horror films of all time.
Mar 7
In this episode it is Josh's pick and he finally suggested a movie the crew has talked about watching for forever, 1990's "SYNGENOR"! This kinda sideways sequel to the 1980's "Scared to Death" shares the same monster design and lack of money as the original but that is about it. Josh was so excited and couldn't wait to talk about this one so Jef and Brian took the elevator all the way down to the tippy bottom of the Norton Cyberdyne building to join Joshenor for this reunion of sorts. Can this movie be better than the OG? Can the mouth move on the monster mask this time? Can there be some connection from this movie to a ton of other genre flicks that the FM3 love? Find out as Josh, Jef and Brian chat about all things Synthetic, Genetic and Orgasmic!
Feb 28
In this episode Jef picked a flick for the crew that he has been wanting to check out forever, 1994's "Night Of The Demons 2"! The FM3 talked about the original Night Of The Demons way back on episode #73: Halloween Quig-out! (Night Of The Demons & The Barn), so check that one out if you are curious, the guys may have talked a lot of shit but at the end of the day they all agree that the original is at the very least a classic or at the very very least a "classic wank"! So getting to go back to party with Angela for Halloween was very exciting! While the spirit of the first film definitely haunts this sequel, Jef, Josh and Brian talk at length about its laundry list of shortcomings and try their HARDEST to fill an old stiff sock with all the things they loved about this straight to video mess-terpiece. Sit back, grab an ice cold holy water and get ready to battle some demons with Forever Midnight!
Feb 21
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian decide to keep riding the Werewolf train and pull Howling 2: Your Sister is a Werewolf off the VHS shelf at the studio. What better way to enjoy a sequel to one of the all time classic werewolf flicks than on videocassette with your buds?! Soon after the FM3 realized something was off, everything went dark - Is it the VCR? Could it be a bad duplication? Maybe the Forever Midnight crew is having a collective stroke and everything is hairy!? Whatever is happening, it doesn't matter if the moon is full or if you have your pockets filled with garlic, Your sister is a werewolf and there's nothing you can do about it except to sit back and enjoy this brand new episode of Forever Midnight!
Feb 14
In this episode one of the incredible Top Wolf's from Patreon chose one of Jef, Josh and Brian's collective favorites "An American Werewolf In London"! It is insane that the FM3 have not done a proper episode on what might be the best Werewolf movie ever. All it took was a wonderful Patreon Patron putting up some hard earned cash to make the crew watch and talk about a good movie for a change. So grab your backpack, stick to the roads and beware the moon because Forever Midnight is heading to London! Awooooooooo!!!
Feb 7
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian figured since they just watched and talked about The Wolf Man (2010), why not check out Wolf Man (2025) that just hit theaters?!? What is the worst that could happen? Could this film actually be good? Could this film bring something new to the screen that folks have yet to see in a wolf man movie? Mayhaps, but you lovely folks will need to tune in and listen as Jef, Josh and Brian put on their white coats and grab the defibrillators because this is a job for THE MOVIE DOCTORS!!
Jan 31
In this episode the FM3 dive head first into the folk horror madness that is "The Wicker Man"! But what better way to do that than by watching "The Wicker Man" (1973) back to back with "The Wicker Man" (2006)!! Sure we got slightly forced by a top dawg Patron into watching both of these, sorta like being pushed into a burning wicker dude effigy, but Jef, Josh and Brian wouldn't have it any other way. So sit back, wait for the smoke to fill your lungs and the smell of a burning goat hit your sniffer as you quickly realize that maybe you won't be escaping without also having to watch both of these freaky folk horror movies. Join us!
Jan 24
In this episode Brian finally picks a personal fave of his " The Wolfman" (2010) much to the chagrin of Jef and Josh. But Brian is certain that his co-hosts will indeed love this star studded remake and will be hearing how much they love it as they record this newest episode. However, Brian is in for a rude awakening, much like waking up after a long night of werewwolfin' around town slashin' boobies and eatin' bobbies! So sit back and join the FM3 as they chat about The Wolfman!
Jan 17
TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual Assault/Abuse/Missing Children In this episode the FM3 Talk about the bleak and cold film Possum from 2018. Brian picked this one for the group thinking it was going to be a scary supernatural puppet adventure but it ended up being far darker and more horrible than he or the rest of the crew could imagine. All in all it is a very well done film, but it is a heavy fucked up one. This is one of those films that is NOT for everyone.
Jan 10
In this episode, the FM3 were very excited to hop back in the theater for the last big horror film of 2024 with Robert Eggers Nosferatu! This most recent remake of the 102 year old classic had Jef, Josh and Brian very curious as to what new things were going to be brought to the table. Would it be a cookie cutter re-do or would it be a new fangled re-imagining? The crew talks at length about this newest horny bloodsucker and all his dusty shenanigans, the countless other times they have seen this story and how damn good a filmmaker Robert Eggers truly is! It's Friday, kick back and chill with your dudes at Forever Midnight. (If you only wanna hear the chat about Nosferatu 2024 fast forward to the 15 minute mark and enjoy!)
Jan 3
In this episode the FM3 DIVE into a horror film from 1982 that none of the crew had seen or for that matter even heard of called "BLOODTIDE" starring James Earl Jones, Martin Kove, Deborah Shelton and more! This Greek hunk fest got the guys schweaty and ready to hit the beach and do some treasure hunting with Darth Vader himself! But wouldn't you know it, there is a monster on the loose and somebody has to stop it! This weird overlooked flick from the 80's is a trip and Forever Midnight suggests you take that trip at least once, but don't forget your sunblock! Thanks so much to friend of the Podcast Neil Pearlmutter of the local Santa Rosa Roxy 14 Cult Film Series for putting this one on the radar for Josh, Jef and Brian. You can stream BloodTide on TUBI, PLEX or grab a new 4K BLU-RAY from Arrow Video!
Dec 20, 2024
Happy Holidays!! This year the FM3 tackle another little known Christmas horror film in hopes they will one day reach into their stocking and pick a winter wonderland winner. Josh, Jef and Brian saddle up on some reindeer and fly into 1984 with high holiday hopes that "Don't Open Till Christmas" is a decades old gift from Saint Nick just collecting dust in the rafters of some old video store. In this episode Jef coaxes Josh and Brian into watching a mystery movie together. Not sure what their fate holds they agree although slightly weary of the 90's pick they are sure is coming. However once all together Jef poses a question: What if there was a horror movie that was like ET & Poltergeist smooshed together, would Josh and Brian be interested? Without thinking too much the answer would always be a resounding hell yes! But is there such a movie? Who would dare create such a Frankenstein mashup of all the things the FM3 loved as children of the 1980's? Sure enough there is such a flick, a literal blender spilling over with nostalgia and maybe a teaspoon of failure. That movie is 1985's "Making Contact" and the Forever Midnight boys are forever blown away that this bootleg messterpiece was ever made. Get ready as Jef, Josh and Brian talk about this wild ride written and directed by Roland Emmerich. Check out this movie here for free https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juclw7dtbRk

The time of year to choose a film that fully emcompasses both hard rock and horror! This time around the FM3 find themselves elbow deep once again in a Full Moon Production, Produced by good old Chuck band and directed by his accomplice Ted Nicolaou. On paper this movie screams "GNARVEMBER", however in execution there might be some debate as to how much this movie actually shreds. Join Jef, Josh and Brian as they talk about this often overlooked flick.

In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian dip into a new movie that promises a mob of widdle creeps headed straight earth to party like it's 1986. Could it be true? Is there a new gang of goobers in town? In this episode the guys tackle yet another Top Dawg Patreon pick! This time around though the pick and name of the Patron are a little suspicious and we wonder if there may have been some greased palms in getting this movie chosen. Afterall the movie in question is "Night Of The Comet" from 1984, which some of you may know is one of Josh's faves. However the guys are excited to chat about this often underappreciated 80's horror/sci-fi gem. So kick back, stay hydrated so you don't turn into red dust or a teenage comet zombie and enjoy the episode!
Oct 18, 2024
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian sit down after just seeing Coralie Fargeat's newest film "The Substance". Even though the guys had seen a trailer and had made up their minds as to what kind of horror film this one was going to be, The FM3 could not believe what they had just witnessed on the big screen and couldn't wait to talk about the spectacle that is "The Substance". Few horror films in history have left the crew as satisfied and entertained as this one and none of them had Demi Moore in them! It was as if this one was made for Forever Midnight! The craziest part of it all is that it seems other folks are enjoying it just as much and the guys couldn't be happier. ALL HAIL CORALIE FARGEAT!!! (This episode starts off with some rants and tangents so if you would like to get right to the movie you can start at the 17:45 mark. If you have not seen this movie yet, do yourself a favor and go see it right away, this one is sticking around for a while.)

The crew were excited to stand at the gates of hell and take in all this wacky wonky movie had to offer. While Josh seemed to love everything this flick delivered, Jef drove his nitrous VW down the line between love and hate leaving Brian in a 90's purgatory filled with every member of the Stiller family and not even a hot ass Kristy Swanson couldn't shake him free. Kick back and listen as The Forever Midnight crew churn out a meaty 300th for all you wonderful listeners! Disclaimer: Please see this movie before listening. Spoilers ahead! In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian check out the new thriller by JT Mollner "Strange Darling". Since this film was very much not on the FM3's radar, Brian scouted it out a couple days earlier and liked it enough to get Jef and Josh onboard with doing an episode even though they knew nothing about it. However Brian knew it checked alot of the things the guys like: a couple of horny folks, a smidge of serial murder, a dash of kink, and a pinch of wtf, all good things that add up to a delicious film. So again check the movie out before listening, you will be thankful you did! Enjoy!

They had long heard about "the scary movie that Tiny Tim plays a clown" but each of them had never seen it. So making their way to a farm in the middle of nowhere they witnessed the making (all two days of it) of a truly forgettable slasher, but holy guacamole it sure did star Tiny Tim as a mentally deranged clown and that fine listeners is the real reason why we are all gathered here today...to bask in the genius and extreme weirdness of Tiny Tim as Marvelous Mervo and maybe some prime time boobies...

In this episode, The FM3 have their poison served up warm and squiggly by a wonderful top level Patron from Patreon. The poison in this case is the polarizing 1981 film "Possession" by writer/director Andrzej Zulawski. Jef, Josh and Brian are finally ready to tackle this legendary movie at least in the public's ears. They may have recorded an episode talking about this very movie some time back and it was lost in the fog and sadness of different days. That being said, If you happen to be a patron on Patreon, that original recording will be getting uploaded and then you will get to hear the crew's initial reactions and feelings as they were also having a tough day at the old podcasting office. This is one of those films that will forever change you- good or bad, It WILL change you. Some folks end up not liking it which is understandable and other folks will end up obsessed digging into the dark depths of the interwebs for any tiny nugget of insight into this crazy ass film.
Oct 12, 2023
It is Forever Midnight's very own Josh Jacob Jingleheimer Staples birthday! And what better way to celebrate than by letting him pick a movie for the FM3 to talk about. Jef and Brian were surprised and even a little excited when he picked the 1988 blockbuster Critters 2! Getting to see that giant Critter-Ball in action as well as some titillating Critties busting out of a certain bounty hunters uniform made Jef, Josh and Brian sprint to watch what might be Mick Garris's best movie. Plus the FM crew talk about the recent Haunts they got to attend - Winchester Mystery House's "Unhinged: Housewarming" & Terror Vault: "The Initiation" Produced by Peaches Christ and David Flower!
Oct 5, 2023

The crew pretty much went into this one super cold and not sure what to expect, but with a name like "Cobweb" the crew knew they were in store for some creepy crawly action. This one turned out to be a full on Halloween movie as well, so now that it's pumpkin' season, get your friends together and add this to the Halloween playlist! However Listeners, please oh please watch this one before you listen - we spoil it as usual, but this movie is way better not knowing all the shit! You have been warned! hahah So sit back, push play and LET YOUR HAIR DOWN...wink wink... The FM crew is back with another one!
Sep 20, 2023

In this episode, another Top Dawg Patreon Patron picks our poison! This time around that poison is the 2020 slow burn horror film "Amulet". This one flew totally under the radar for the FM3 but they were happy to have a mystery movie picked for them. With that said, this conversation is filled with a much spirited debate about whether or not this movie was good because believe it or not Jef, Josh and Brian didn't all see eye to eye through the keyhole on this weird one. It is suggested that you check this one out for yourself before listening to this episode because the crew is taking the fast train to spoileys-ville and all the secrets will be revealed!

In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian get to visit good old Castle Rock Maine once again and they couldn't be more excited! People are talking and very curious about the new store that just opened. What could it be? What do they sell? Who is the creepy freak that owns the place? Soon the town is getting super agitated by the arrival of this new stranger selling special things for dirty deeds. Not wanting to trade their souls for some estate sale trinkets, the Forever Midnight crew click their heels together and say Stephen King!, Stephen King!, Stephen King! They awaken back in their old beds, everything seems normal except they all know they have now seen the 2 hour cut of the 1993 film "Needful Things". Lord Help them...
Aug 10, 2023
In this episode the FM3 sit down and talk about the newest installment in the Insidious franchise 'The Red Door". It seems just like poor Dalton the Forever Midnight crew have a case of the old brain fog aka "The Further Farts" when it comes to figuring out the timeline for these Insidious/Conjuring movies. Brian and Josh (especially) need some help from Patrick Wilson or at least from Patrick Wilson dressed as Ed Warren to "conjure up" some of the what's and how's and why's of all these very similar movies. So grab some popcorn, a flashlight (cause it's gonna get foggy up in here) and a nice comfortable seat as the guys talk about "Darth Maul goes to College''.

In this week's episode the FM3 have a nice little techno-horror film plopped in their laps by one of their top level Patrons. "Pulse" AKA "Kairo" or "Circuit" in Japanese is an interesting take on the idea of ghosts and their relation to technology directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Jef, Josh and Brian had never seen it before and were excited to have this one picked for them. This film follows two groups that discover evidence that ghosts might be trying to invade the human world via the internet. Its take on the sheer loneliness caused by our broken connections from using this technology seems light years ahead of what we all thought about the world wide web in 2001. So... hop on the internet as quickly as possible and listen in as the FM crew chat about this often overlooked Japanese Horror gem! For those of you that might have not seen this yet...Trigger Warning: (Suicide/Self Harm).
Jul 12, 2023
In this week's episode Jef, Josh and Brian almost Sheetar'd their pants when they were served up a movie just like an ancient Lumerian feast that they had been dodging forever. A top level Patreon Patron delivered the 1987 horror comedy "Blood Diner" for the crew to chew on. One thing the FM3 figured out very quickly is this movie is batshit crazy balls! One second you got a couple dipsticks knocking a security guards eyes out with a shovel, next they are taking orders from a brain in a jar, then they are shooting up an aerobics class to harvest body parts, and then they are deep frying fingers for vegetarians to munch on and all that's before the REAL wild shit starts! Sheetar help us!

In this week's episode Jef, Josh and Brian head into the horny alternate 80's universe of the horror comedy TerrorVision! This movie truly has all the things the FM3 could ever want out of a horror film: Sci-Fi swingers getting their funky freak on, pretentious punkers turning into puke piles, unstable military nuts with enough ammunition to blow up the moon, a sloppy mess of a martian monster that loves assimilating humans just like Society's shuntings of yore and so much more!! This is one of those rare films that is truly so bad it's kinda...good. So hop in the hottub with your scary movie pals as they talk about this beloved cult classic! (In this episode the FM crew might talk about The Cure for about 14 minutes so feel free to fast forward if you just want to hear the TerrorVision chat.) TerrorVision is available for free on Youtube here: https://youtu.be/piWTECjq5JA

In this week's episode, the FM3, get the hell out of Canada and find themselves in sunny Australia, the land of big bugs, jacked studs and ugly mugs! Well only ugly and jacked if you were one of the "actors" in the 1993 ozploitation film "Body Melt". For years the Forever Midnight Crew held high hopes that this movie would bring them a treasure trove of the grossest and goriest deaths to ever grace the silver screen. The holy grail if you will of juicy, slippery bodies turning into kangaroo stew movies. But once again, Jef, Josh and Brian learn some hard lessons when it comes to getting their hopes up and how quickly their hopes can split open and turn to shit like an overcooked hot dog. Enjoy!

But as the FM3 rush the doors to get their asses in some fancy pants they are met with a blood soaked army of killer denim. The guys have two choices: battle the blue jeans or figure out why the denim is on a murderous rampage. Quick decisions were made and the guys figured when would be the next time they could fight some haunted pants...So weapons were gathered and The Forever Midnight crew put up a good fight but alas the ghost pants kicked their butts and drank their butt blood. This episode is dedicated to the best damn horror podcast there ever was...hopefully they are looking down on you from the big jean shorts in the sky hoping you enjoy this episode.

In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian hop in the not so way-back machine and travel to the 1990's. The mission was to see the aftermath of a post "Scream" world where every studio and director just wanted the hottest young doofs in Hollywood and had a total and complete lack of ideas and love for the genre. The FM3 crash landed in 1998 trying to get there in time to disrupt the making of Urban Legend in hopes of ending the production but alas they were too late and they arrived on opening day September 25th, 1998. As they saw the young people pouring in to watch UL1, they decided to finally give it a watch...what you are about to hear is an account of what befell this group of horror podcasters, it is all more tragic that they were old and jaded and knew this movie was gonna be dog shit, but they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see any more "Scream" rip-offs. For them an idyllic time travelling afternoon would become a nightmare as they could not stop or reverse the ripples these types of films would make for years and years to come... (If you want to hear just the talk about Urban Legend Start at 23:20)

In this week's episode the FM3 has their poison picked for them by one of their fantastic top tier Patrons! The film picked is the 2017 "Pyewacket" and even though they had been put off by the name they head over to Amazon Prime where they can stream it for free and hope for the best. If this movie blows they might have to perform a ritual to summon an entity to go after the one who chose it for them...muahahahahahaha. In this week's episode Jef, Josh and Brian dive back into the theater to suck down some popcorn and swallow some souls as they check out Evil Dead Rise! The crew was super excited and maybe a little scared to get out of the cabin and into the city to see the newest installment of this beloved franchise. Hopes were high that the producers would deliver unto horror fans another bloody masterpiece like the 2013 re-imagining. As the credits rolled the FM3 left the cinema super thrilled to see evil doing its worst in all the best ways and thankful that scary movies are alive and well.
Apr 25, 2023
In this episode things get heated as Josh takes Jef and Brian for a ride through the seedy and slippery underbelly of 1980's Hollywood. This horny ass film is filled and ready to spill with so much creepin', sleepin', sweatin', pettin', and a whole lot of Craig Wasson frettin' that the crew soon realize why it is a fan fave. So kick back, grab your telescope and PEEP what the FM crew think about Brian De Palma's thriller "Body Double"!

This time around the FM3 check out the fabled "Night Of The Demon'' also known around these parts as "The one where Bigfoot rips a guys dick out at the root"! In this episode the FM3 hop back in the sack with their beloved Hell Priest and a bunch half-assed cenobites for an orgy of evil delights. This time around the crew stumble upon a sweet art sculpture that has imprisoned the extra evil Pinhead just waiting for some poor schmucks to come along and fall for some dumb shit so he can fuck up earth with his new found Freddy Krueger sensibilties. Luckily Jef, Josh and Brian meet the detached soul of Elliott Spencer and hatch a plan to bring that old pin cushion into the dream taint world to be annihilated. The Dark Prince of Pain almost turns the city of New York into a fiery hellscape but The Forever Midnight crew once again save the day by harnessing the power of good with a boisterous conversation about boobs and dicks.

Who knew that all these years later the horror community would still be talking about SCREAM and it's sequels and better yet not hating them all. This is one of Jef's favorite horror franchises, so it is always fun to see what this uber fan thinks about what new twists and turns have been thrown at the screen for the Ghostface devotees to devour or spit out. This week's episode is the culmination of decades worth of fantasies and imaginings in our own Brian's little noggin' wondering about the movie "The Slayer" (1982). What could it be? In this episode the Forever Midnight Crew hit up the movie theater to check out M. Night Shyamalan"s newest movie "Knock At The Cabin". The FM3 all agree that they wanna be carried on his shoulders like he carries the movies he has been in lately. As with any Shyamalan flick, our time was split between enjoying it and trying to figure out the twist. Truly a curse now for a man who is a decent filmmaker but will always be assumed to be throwing a curveball. Jef, Josh and Brian then head out of the woods and talk about the weird and wonderful world of Las Vegas for a bit and even get a stinky old DooDoo secret voicemail, So sit back, open your ears and let the soothing sounds of these three ding dongs rattle around in your brain-hole for the next hour and twenty minutes!

In this Episode the FM3 are back in the saddle after some bouts of the rona. Feeling less like zombies now and excited to see each other's faces they talk about what they have been doing the last couple weeks, looking at mummy toes, gettin' all hot and steamy watchin' 80's flicks and trippin' out trying to decipher the cryptic Skinamarink. Finally the crew sit down to talk about the Patreon pick they have been forced to watch, the indie zombie film "It Stains the Sands Red". What they think is going to be another cookie cutter zombie movie turns into quite the opposite and Josh, Brian and especially Jef were happy to see it go a different direction. With that said, In this episode the Forever Midnight crew tackle the infamous classic "Street Trash". Don't you want a little taste of the glory?, see what it tastes like? or at least see what the wonderful Patrons on Patreon get to squirt into their ear holes each month? I think you do! Then Jef, Josh and Brian are faced with the most powerful of the dark underworld's upper management "Leviathan"! It demands souls and if there is one thing Forever Midnight is good at it is tantalizing innocent souls to join them in their dark crusade talking about farts and exotic milks. As expected the soul count was so high that upper management couldn't keep up and shot it's dark matter all over the crew so they ended up getting pooped out of a dirty blood covered mattress in jolly old fake England AKA Canada. What the heck are the odds?! They decide to share the house but are suspicious of each other and unaware of the horrors that lurk beneath the house. They all try to sleep but are awakened by strange sounds and movements. Maybe that other podcast is only here to sabotage the FM podcast equipment, or maybe they are only there to diddle the FM3. Could the Forever Midnight crew be so lucky?! Naw, it's probably something far scarier, stinkier and stranger. Against all odds the crew manage to squeak out an episode talking about a wild ass film they just saw that almost mirrors their current predicament, the 2022 Zach Gregger film "Barbarian"!
Sep 15, 2022

Thanks to the clouds above for fresh storytellers making horror films these days!

In this week's episode Jef, Josh and Brian remember way back, when they bought a cute little baby gator from a leathery one armed man and couldn't wait to spend their lives raising it. Things were going well with their new pet for about 24 hours but then an angry dad ran into the research center and flushed our little guy down the toilet. Trying to cope with this tragedy the crew started Podcasting and passed the years talking about such horror films as ALLIGATOR (1980). Then the rumors started, day after day the FM3 would hear stories and legends of a 36 foot long monster that lived in the sewers of Santa Rosa. In an unsurprising twist instead of a giant lizard it turned out just to be a huge turd, the bastard clogged turd of a dozen horror movie nerds. How crazy would it have been if it was their sweet baby gator living in the sewer all grownast and bloodthirsty!?! That would have been awesome!

Maybe it is tainted exotic milks? Whatever it might be, the crew answers the call on The Black Phone!

It is gonna be a bloodbath! So sit back and enjoy this episode because more than likely the tracers in their heads will detonate at any moment and this will be the FM3's last recording...KABLOOEY! Jun 9, 2022
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian watched the new Alex Garland film Men. The conversation that followed ended up very different from the normal chats the crew has after watching a horror film. That being said, it is an interesting and thoughtful conversation sparked by a film that seems to have been made in a way to encourage the viewer to explore and contemplate ideas about what it all could mean. So thank you for coming on this journey with the FM3!

Running around a haunted asylum trying to escape the madness, Jef, Josh and Brian realize the true madness may have been wanting to watch "The Dead Pit" (1989)! Trying to make sense of it all and escape with their sanity intact, the crew figure they might as well just finish the movie rather than fight against the evil powers at work. Sure enough, they came out the other side bandaging their wounds, checking another 80's horror flick off the list and continuing on with their important work talking about the shit horror movies of yore.

The FM3 head to Texas in this new episode! The year is 1979 and (as always) the creeps living in the cuts are far scarier than any monsters! Your homies are stuck in a weird and unfamiliar place: smack-dab between some interesting, beautiful (and nude) humans making a porno and some old, murderous (and nude) humans trying to foil their plans. Imagine if "Boogie Nights" and "Texas Chainsaw..." fucked and splooshed out a baby. That baby would be Ti West's 2022 slasher, "X"! Listen as we get together to talk about this baby and why this is a good baby - maybe even a great baby - but a baby you have definitely seen before. Enjoy!
Mar 17, 2022

How could Jef, Josh and Brian not review this surprising installment in the short list of Hard Rockin' Horror?

In this episode the FM3 go for a nice Sunday drive and end up crashing into some bushes, stranding them in the cuts. Luckily for them, Ma and Pa Dusty Doll's mansion was just a stones throw from their car and they were invited to stay. Unfortunately it was a rough night spent dodging shifty eyed killer dolls and creepy ass magician's hell bent on turning the Forever Midnight crew into a handful of chapped ass Cabbage Patch kids. Good thing Jef, Brian and Josh are young at heart because they lived to tell the tale!
Feb 25, 2022
In this episode Jef and Josh hop inside old Brian's Soap Box derby car and ride off into the sunset talking about Netflix's newest installment in the dusty, dicey Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Chalk full of spoiler's and other doodoo filled nonsense, the FM3 are really just glad it's all over, at least until Netflix busts open another poo-pipe and dumps a stinky Chainsaw sequel down your pants. Hooray!
Feb 16, 2022
In this episode Josh and Jef reluctantly go squatchin' because it is old Hairy Henderson's pick this week. As the crew heads into the wicked woods of the Pacific Northwest they are greeted by not only the biggest of foots but also other freaky ass forest creatures in the 2021 film "Dawn of the Beast". So Grab a weapon, a flashlight and a pine tree air freshener because Bigfoot might smell like doo doo but he is also friend.

In this episode, the FM3 finally did it: they stepped over the line from family fun show to the podcast that will probably put you on a list of criminal weirdos that the CIA has been compiling. Things get REAL adult REAL quick. Listeners, please heed this warning: this podcast is for mature listeners and parental guidance is suggested. With that said, this episode is full of good times, lots of laughs and yes, a few crimes. Enjoy!

In this episode the FM3 hop in their spooky space ship and head off world to the planet of Gigax hoping to find some allies in the never-ending fight against Evil, instead they run into a host of wonky ass creatures and budget booty battlebots, some so janky that the Forever Midnight crew decide to leave the far off freak fest and return to earth. Once back home they find themselves face to face with the darkest evil in the galaxy, the infamous Psycho Goreman!! Luckily for Jef, Josh and Brian they are true Hunky Boys and PG offers to spare them and their loyal listeners as long as they talk about the film based on his life and exploits in the universe as the one and only Archduke of Nightmares. Hooray for Forever Midnight!! ReplyForward

In this new episode, the Forever Midnight crew once again have their fate chosen for them by a wonderful Patreon Patron. This time, that fate is a dark and desolate one, at least in regards to imagery and subject matter. The FM3 are talking about one of the best zombie films in horror history: George Romero's "Day Of The Dead!" Join the gang as they talk about this fan fave's high points, flaws and the hard scientific truths about blue and green zombos. You may just learn something... but probably not. We are just three chuckle heads!
Dec 24, 2021
In this holiday hootenanny of an episode, the FM3 close a chapter that's been 5 years in the making. They are talking "Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker"! This movie's stocking is filled to the brim with all kinds of nonsense: weird kids, ugly killer toys, fake Santas, rubber arms (that can think), Mickey Rooney, Robots, and Ricky - played once again by the holiday savior himself, Clint Howard! Really, what more could you ask for in a holiday Episode??! Merry Clintmas to all and to all a good night!
Dec 20, 2021
Just in time to fill your stockings with "Hot Content", the FM crew is back ramblin' again. This time around there has been a lot of "Buzz" about the new Texas Chainsaw Reboot and the upcoming Texas Chainsaw video game. So in true Forever Midnight fashion, a brief discussion becomes an episode. Join the fun as Brian gets on his Chainsaw Massacre soap box, Old man Staples explains why things were better way back when, and poor Jef just tries to make sure Brian doesn't have a brain aneurysm and Josh doesn't break a hip. This latest episode of Forever Midnight sees the FM3 on a trip to the dank dark woods of Oregon, where they decide that it's time to figure out this Lil-Cryptid situation. Expecting to find a snuggle-bandit like Bigfoot, they instead find a truly terrifying creature that will leave them all praying they don't split open like a pair of Lenny Kravitz's jeans, spilling forth a heaping helping of horny Wendigo pie. Stay tuned as we talk about the long-awaited 2021 Creetchie-Feetch, "Antlers"!!

In this week's episode, the FM crew are caught with their sweatpants down after a wild and crazy October and realize Gnarvember is already in full swing. Trying to formulate a plan to appease the Rock Gods, Forever Midnight stage dives right into the 1987 film "Zombie Nightmare"! They would come to realize very quickly that among the many things this film lacks, a Rock-N-Roll band is numero uno. After surrendering to Thor's super strength and an awkward ass Adam West the guys in true FM fashion finish the film and are left feeling a lot less Rock-n-Roll and a whole lot more Rick Rolled.

It's a rare and special occasion when the FM3 get to take a trip down to Haddonfield because a brand new Michael Myers movie just plopped into their candy sacks. Eager to see what old Mikey has been cooking up since 2018, the Forever Midnight crew hop into their best blue jumpsuits and get ready to rip this film a new eye hole! But when it comes to Halloween goodies, ya gotta welcome the sweet along with the salty and the sour (because we're all too familiar with the nasty aftertastes that certain chapters of this franchise can leave) and always examine your treats closely - you might just get a bloody good one!

The Forever Midnight Podcast has finally made it to episode 200!!! It's been many years of magic and self discovery, and FM can finally call themselves "professionals." In this milestone episode, the crew decide to loosen up a bit and kinda go off the rails, talking about the new James Wan friendship-ender "Malignant" (2021) before they hop on the wittle goober bus and head back to school with the coming-of-age tale, "Ghoulies Go To College!" Yep folks, it is a lumpy and bumpy ride until the oversized bugs-bunny-bomb explodes, erasing all recent memories of these god-damned rubber puppets. Enjoy, and thank you so much for listening!!! In Forever Midnight's latest episode, the FM3 find themselves once again on the Charles Bandwagon. How they got onboard is anyone's guess, but they are going the distance with the funkiest of films by Full Moon Productions, the 1996 Humpty Lumpty story, "Head Of the Family." Filled with freaky weirdos and enough nudity to make Hugh Hefner blush, it left the Forever Midnight crew scratching their massive heads, and searching for the swiftest road to emancipation from the Band family once and for all.

In this episode, The FM3 finally get to dive mouth-first into the sugary-sweet, long-awaited treat, "Candyman" (2021). Filled to the brim with art, violence & bees, Nia DeCosta's visionary, honey-dipped sequel to the 1992 cult classic is an urban folktale for the ages - perfect for old, bitter horror nerds as well as the fresh generation of fans who can't wait to say his name…
Aug 25, 2021
In this week's episode, a member of the elite Forever Midnight Society from Patreon give the sweet and sour (but mostly sour) gift of the 1976 film "Eaten Alive" for the crew to chew on. Happy to see their friends Freddy, Ruby, Morticia, Sally, Ali-Gator and Winslow, the FM3 do their best to talk through - and eventually come to terms with - what they witnessed in this Tobe Hooper mess-terpiece.
Aug 17, 2021
In this week's episode, The FM3 are headed to the carnival! But not just any carnival... this one is filled with all kinds of fantastic-looking rubber ghoobers. At first, the Forever Midnight crew were scared shitless that these widdle turds were gonna try to eat them, but soon realized these little ghoobers just wanted to entertain folks in the bullshit dark ride. After surviving the show, sh'boys were so stoked that they had to let everyone know that a big old stinky rat and a jacked-ass hoofed cat were murking fools in the spook house!! It was almost exactly what happened to the Uggos of Italy in the 1987 latex money pit known affectionately around the globe as "Ghoulies 2!"
Aug 10, 2021
In this week's episode, the FM crew wade even deeper into the rubber-filled, olympic-size swimming pool of 'Little Goober' movies finally choosing the greasy muppet symphony that is John Carl Buechler and Chuck Band's "TROLL" (1986). Forever Midnight had a blast talking about how much better of an actor Phil Fondacaro is than Michael "Moe" Moriarty and coming to terms with our collective crush on the 70-year-old witch/stump in the film. All in all, it is a pretty bangin' episode as per usual from the Ghouliverse's favorite podcast!!

Fire up your chainsaws and fix yourself a hot bowl of chili, because the time has finally come for us to review Brian's second favorite horror movie: "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" (1986). At long last, we get to sink our teeth deep into the meat of this movie, exploring all of its spooky caverns, wild characters, and insane choices... and if any of you dog d's don't like it, you can lick our plates!

We got a special episode this week. We are thrilled to be joined my our good friends Michael Conrad and Noah Bailey to talk about their brand horror graphic novel "DOUBLE WALKER". We had an absolute blast chatting with our boys, and hope you don't wait and just dive right in to this really fun episode. That's right... Don't think about it. Just hit play! And if you like what you hear please consider supporting these guys by picking up "DOUBLE WALKER". Which is out now on Comixology and available on Amazon.

In this week's episode, the FM3 go head-to-head with a group of little hairy bastards from outer space. Joined by some bumbling booger-faced bounty hunters that offer no help, the Forever Midnight crew decide to take matters into their own hands and blow the living shite out of some Crites! After saving the world (and some reverse action home remodeling), what better way to celebrate than by talking all about "Critters" (1986)
Jun 22, 2021
In this week's episode, the FM3 take Dragula out for a spin and end up careening head first into the debate about Robert Zombies newest film announcement. Then the FM crew head indoors to enjoy the newest demonic jump scare film in a real live actual movie theater!! With their bellies filled with paranormal popcorn the conversation ends up being more centered on the ghostly grifters publicly known as "The Warrens" and how they may be full of not only horse shit but also delicious lies. So grab a crucifix and listen along as the Forever Midnight Podcast talks about "The Conjuring: The Devil made me do it".
Jun 17, 2021
In this week's episode, the FM crew kinda wanna start smoking, get over their fear of heights and go toe to tinker bell toe with a goddamn soul sucker. Sure they may have also seen a ghost kid stuck in a mannequin and numerous animal rights violations but all in all they got thru Stephen King's Cat's Eye (1985) in one piece and didn't go diving into a giant oversized box fan like that creepy shark mouthed cookie elf. We win!!
Jun 9, 2021
In this week's episode, the FM3 check out Zack Snyder's 2021 blasterpiece, "Army Of The Dead". While it may not be as SUPER or in the same LEAGUE as some of his other films, ol' Zack actually did the Zombie genre some JUSTICE by churning out a Summer Blockbuster-Style Action/Horror film - which was a fun way for the FM Crew to get back in them theater seats and chomp on some corn (while watching a zombie tiger chomp some cornhole idiot). Meet us at the helipad before the bomb drops, baybeees!
May 26, 2021
In this week's episode, the Forever Midnight crew stumble upon a satchel of gold coins at the end of a wicked rainbow that landed outside the podcast studio. While discussing how many burgers and record albums they are gonna buy with all that loot, a real live Leprechaun (1993) starts stalking Ireland's favorite horror hosts. This little guy will stop at nothing to get his precious gold back, even if that means strappin' on a pair of roller skates and skitching all over town trying to track down every bit of that magic money to recharge his leprechaun powers. I'm not pointing any long green fingers, but one of the FM3 swallowed a leprecoin while trying to tooth-test for authenticity. It looks like their luck just ran out...
May 18, 2021
In the interest of science, the FM3 decided to do some actual research this week and figured that if Professor B. Ghoul says that the 2012 film "Sinister" is the scariest movie of all time, maybe they should finally check it out. With fresh lab coats, some snacks and a newly-vaxx'd pep in their step, the Forever Midnight crew fired up the old super 8 projector, and neither their lives nor the podcast will ever be the same...

In this weeks episode the gang gets their fate chosen for them, and as usual they believe things will take a hard left turn to crap-town, But the beautiful angels from France aKa the Fry guys drop us a bloody good wild romp of a film in the little known Baby Blood (1990). Filled to the brim with a fine gravy of gore, car theft and butt babies this fine poutine of a film is most delicious.

In this week's episode, the FM crew embark on their annual Forever Midnight camping trip! After hiking to the marsh and roasting some mallows, your homies find themselves being chased through the woods by a couple of feral knucklehead brothers and their wiley, neckbraced Mom. Realizing that their only path to survival is to fight back, the FM3 gather what weapons they can find and proceed to make mincemeat out of these shitbillies. While the crew take a sec to catch their breath, unbeknownst to them a butthole-eared SheSquatch is waiting in the bushes, getting ready to jump their bones. Happy "Mother's Day" (1980), I guess!
Apr 19, 2021
After many years, the Forever Midnight crew finally sat down and watched Ghoulies (1984) together, and life may never be the same. In this episode they discuss this wild-ass, rubber-filled film, its many faults, and its many charms. They ponder the choices made by the Band Clan and scratch their heads as to why the movie is even called 'Ghoulies.' After much talk about the dark-ass magic it took to make this film and the mark-ass magic IN the film - the FM3 overall feel like they enjoyed their time with this janky picture and will probably jump aboard another rubber muppet-filled boat again very soon.

In this berserk episode of Forever Midnight, your homies try and take a nice, leisurely trip up to Big Bear for some rest and relaxation, but before they can say "GROTESQUE", a clown-car full of maniac punks almost runs them off the road. These Hot Topic Terrorists end up haranguing the FM3 for the rest of the weekend and the crew end up in a blizzard being chased by the wild-ass punks, who themselves are being chased by a lumpy-faced mutant. Luckily, two dipshit police bring the whole town to help, and even though they kill the good monsters and let the bad monsters go, WTF right? At least the Forever Midnight made it out safe with their neck collection intact. Oh, and there is a Frankenstein, too!
Apr 5, 2021
In this week's episode, the Forever Midnight crew find themselves face to face with two dozen oatmeal-faced and jelly-filled ghouls in the 1979 Italian classic, "Zombie." Besides being dumbfounded by the many sound quality and overdubbing issues, the FM3 found themselves super-impressed with how "The Italian Stallion" (Lucio Fulci) made the most full-on, batshit nuts zombie battle in horror film history!
Mar 22, 2021
In this weeks episode the FM Crew head out to the beautiful and Haunted Islands of Indonesia. While there they accidentally get mixed up with a demonic fortune teller who sends her ghoul gang to dispatch them, luckily the local Muslim church folks show up and pray the black magic woman to death. After that the Forever Midnight posse hop on some dirt bikes and spend the rest of their sweet vacay trying to Evel Knievel big ass fruit trucks just like the mighty Herman in the 1980 Indonesian Horror Classic "Satan's Slave". What could go wrong?

In this week's episode, the Forever Midnight crew find themselves back at the infamous Bates Motel, where Norman, the proprietor, is dangling by a thread, trying to navigate thru life as a famous reformed murderer in this 3rd installment of the Psycho franchise. Between hiring and firing new employees, falling for short-haired, blond women, hosting wild-ass homecoming parties and occasionally dressing up as Mother, he has little time to really focus on running a proper business. The FM3 - fed up with blood-soaked ice cubes in the motel cooler and being oogled thru the pepperoni peephole in room #1 - decide that it's time to head off into the desert again, hitching a ride to LA to become famous podcasters. But before they can get out of town… they vanish. And wouldn't you know it, old Norman is heading out to the swamp to make another deposit.

Ciao, amici! In this week's episode, the gang at Forever Midnight decided to slip into the fine leather boot of Italy and peek into the mind of a Psychosexual killer in the 1973 film "Torso". After witnessing smoking, choking and enough boobs to fill an Italian countryside vineyard, The FM3 felt even more sleazy and queasy than usual. After all was said and done, your friends at FM were still scratching their heads at some of the wuts, whys and hows of making slasher films in 1970's Italy. Arrivederci!
Mar 1, 2021
This week, the FM3 take a trip to "Willy's Wonderland" (2021) where they witness Nicholas Cage doing a so-so Nicholas Cage impression while battling a possessed and woefully budget-assed Rock-a-Fire Rip-Off comprised of semi-menacing animatronic misfits. When the lights go down at Willy's, the bots get hungeee... but much to Forever Midnight's dismay, this is not a wonderland of actual wieners, edible or otherwise. At your own risk, check out this premium-priced streamer before the lawsuits start forming a pile of their own. Five Nights at whose? More like "One Night at Willy's" - which tracks as this title is 20% as cool and scary as it thinks it is. If your friends at FM haven't tipped their hand entirely, just know that sometimes the bad ones lead to the best chats! Crack a Punch Pop and enjoy!
Feb 22, 2021
This week's episode was chosen by one of Forever Midnight's faithful devotees over on Patreon, and the fate bestowed upon the weary eyes of the FM crew was one they had not bargained for. Preparing for the worst and hoping for the best, the FM3 recognize a familiar face - that of legendary actor Michael Berryman - but he has long luscious golden hair and a matching majestic mustache… something is definitely amiss. As your homies continue along (and off) the rails in this haunted house ride, they discover it chock-full of surreal imagery, an insane making-of backstory and tons of WTF moments, making 2017's "The Evil Within" a tour de force of literally the good, the bad and the utterly problematic.
Feb 16, 2021
In this week's episode, the FM3 stumbled upon a horror treasure in the form of the 2020 film "His House". To repay their debt to the Horror Gods, however, they must face the whispering NightWitch that lives in the Scary Movie Resource Center so that they might rejoin their unfortunate mission: to watch every shitty horror film. No longer used to such quality, "His House" legitimately scares the FM Crew, and in their spasmodic throes of terror, they send the NightWitch back to the netherworld with their violent flailings. Amazing how a one-of-a-kind film told from a unique perspective can shake one's foundations! Now they can get back to reviewing such choice titles as 'Killer Toilet'.
Feb 8, 2021
In this weeks episode the FM3 had their adventure chosen for them by one of their more infamous Top Dawgs over on Patreon. The film forced onto their weary eyes was the 1977 George Romero film "Martin". Without much thought the FM crew threw on their best fake fangs and Dracula capes expecting this to be a regular romp thru the blood soaked fields of Transylvania - holy shit were they wrong.

A boy's best friend is his mother, but a horror podcast's best friend is a motherfucking SEQUEL! When tasked with creating a Part II to Alfred Hitchcock's groundbreaking horror masterpiece "Psycho" (1960) over 20 years later, you gotta put together the crack team of the time: Tom Holland, Dean Cundey, Jerry Goldsmith, Meg Tilly and…. Dennis Franz? Hell YES, Dennis Franz! Plus Anthony Perkins returns as a long and lean Norman Bates who would KILL to prepare you a sandwich with milk. Tour the drug-suites, bonky-basement and gaslit halls of the lavish Bates Estate with Forever Midnight, now with twice the Pepperoni Peepholes™! The original may have lacked shots of knives actually going through heads and hands, but the sequel delivers in spades… and speaking of spades, there's a shovel to the dome scene that will blow your old-lady-wig clean off. Join the FM3 for their long awaited discussion about Psycho II (1983)!

When a stranger calls, Forever Midnight let it go to voicemail! This latest VM extravaganza features not only new calls from some sweet strangers, but classic callers we know and love, who across the board seem to have been marinating their minds in the gutter over the past few months. These blush-worthy voicemails have the FM3 laughing and sweating it out as they answer your pressing horrno-themed queries. Adults only, please!
Jan 18, 2021
In this week's episode, the cosmonauts over at Forever Midnight got a distress call from a "Forbidden World" (1982), so they flipped the tiny hyperspace switch, wiggled around for a few minutes and were there in a jiffy to investigate! What they didn't expect was having to battle a wicked-ass space-mutant made of trashbags, vaseline and some massive styrofoam teeth. Luckily for the (forbidden) world's best horror hosts, they used their vast scientific knowledge and punched at the mutant with a honkin' cancer steak until the monster chundered fro-yo all over the lab. When innards become outtards, it's pretty much a typical day for the FM3. Now it's time to hit the sauna and show everyone our scars… it's tough saving the universe one episode at a time, but some podcast's gotta do it!
Jan 11, 2021
This week, the FM-Threeniuses sneak into the dark ride at a seedy-ass carnival and attempt to spend the night, just for a hoot! Once inside, they stumble upon a monster getting a hand-whammy and decide that maybe this wasn't their brightest idea. The FM crew have to "hurry, hurry, and step right up" to the Barker and his Frankenstein-cosplaying son if they wanna make it out with their goldfish-baggies intact! Like an order of corndogs, your hosts come out a little bit battered and fried, but with a sweet and meaty chat about Tobe Hooper's 1981 classic "The Funhouse"!
Jan 4, 2021
In this week's episode the FM3 head to Dawson's Beach to party it up! While recklessly hauling balls along the winding cliffs, they accidentally chowdered the Gorton's fish stick guy who was apparently standing in the middle of the road, fast asleep. Using their collective crack judgement, they decide that rather than checking homie's vitals and getting medical assistance, it would be a better move to just throw his ass in the ocean - from whence he came, right? Boy, were they wrong! Instead, the F-M'ers set off a chain of events that would forever change (and end) the lives of many innocent people. Who will survive and what will be left of their crab shack? Find out as Forever Midnight debate this sadistically-soundtracked, RINO (R-Rated In Name Only) shlassic, "I Know What You Did Last Summer!"
Dec 28, 2020
In this week's episode, your favorite bullied army cadets, Jef, Josh and Brian stumble upon a full-on Dracula Dungeon where they the find the secret VHS stash of Satanic Priest Esteban and watch his 1981 documentary, "EvilSpeak." While watching, they learn that if you let Clint Howard type some wild shit into an old computer, the devil will kill all your enemies. So get ready nerds, 'cause your wigs are about to get split with a He-Man sword as the boys float around and talk about this forgotten 80's gem!
Dec 21, 2020
It's that special time if year where we celebrate our lord and savior... Clint Howard. So kiddies, gather around the fire as Forever Midnight spin you a very special holiday tale of bugs, butchers, spirals, witches and appreciation of the most lovable Howard, Clint (and his many flicks)! The FM3 would like to wish you all a very Merry Clintmas and have a Howard New Year!
Dec 14, 2020
In this episode, your forever-friends at Forever Midnight watched the new Netflix Original film, "Kaali Khuhi" and talk with Writer/Director Terrie Samundra. This conversation touches on many subjects, including the logistics of making a feature film in India, post-production work in pandemic conditions, and projects she is currently prepping for the near future. The FM3 had a great time talking with Terrie, learned lots, and look forward to seeing more work from this unique & talented Filmmaker! (Pro-tip: for English-speaking listeners who are going to follow along with us in your book, make sure you watch Kaali Khuhi in the original Hindi with English Subtitles)
Dec 7, 2020
In this week's episode, the film chosen for the FM3 is one of the most influential and successful films in cinematic history - at least in the world of Frank Henenlotter - his 1990 magnum opus, "Frankenhooker." This film delivers on so many levels: musclenuts, superdrugs, sexworkers, disembodied brains, disembodied boobs, freaks of nature, disembodied freaks of nature and "SCIENCE." Your friends at Forever Midnight love this movie and look foreword to a day when it gets a well-deserved sequel. But, until then, they will have to settle for watching "Frankenhooker" on repeat for the 69th time in a row...
Nov 30, 2020
The FM3 find themselves pulling into Mill Basin for the last stop on their wacky wild mild metal Gnarvember tour and as they unload their amps from their Lamborghini's into the High School Auditorium, They realize that maybe just maybe the Black Roses they are on tour with are actually the devils band and we are all stuck in purgatory. After some thought they figure the only way out is thru, and they help the world's nosiest high school teacher by selling him some black market dynamite on the street corner and then kick back until he blows up or burns down the show. ...Ahh the life of the worlds best horror podcast. And until next years Gnarvember, we hope you all got to bang your heads and have sex in some waterbeds. Chao!!
Nov 23, 2020
In this latest metal massacre mishap for the month of Gnarvember, your friends at Forever Midnight find themselves making a deal with the ambidextrous, mixer-twiddling voodoo Devil to become the greatest podcast in the world!! Unfortunately, just like for Martin - the silly nerd in 1991's "Shock Em Dead" - things don't go quite as they'd planned. Instead of enjoying the spoils that topping the iTunes charts surely affords, the FM3 become weird-ass heavy metal soul-suckers and their hard rockin' horror show gets overshadowed by the stack of bodies left behind, just so they won't shrivel up and explode! Watch "Shock Em Dead" on Youtube and check out this, and all of our Gnarvember episodes wherever you listen to Podcasts.
Nov 16, 2020
Gnarvember is in full effect and your friends at Forever Midnight decided to hit the road with everyone's favorite shock-rock group, The Clowns from the 1980-ish film "Terror On Tour!" Much to the dismay of the FM3, the "tour" ended before it began, cuz some clown started stabbin' boobies. Luckily, this Grammy award winning film is free to stream online, so pop your Youtube-top and jam out with your clam out, cuz it's Gnarvember!!!
Nov 9, 2020
Kicking off Gnarvember your friends at FM Decided to don their best studded bikini briefs and snap on muscles to attain the full enlightenment that is Rock 'N Roll Nightmare! This film had more greasy shenanigans than most - fully dunked in the softest of Hard Rock juices and all written by the legendary Thor! So jump in the band van , tune your weapons and hit the road with The FM3 and The Tritonz!!
Oct 26, 2020
It is that special time of year again when the veil between those who love Halloween and those who hate it is at its thinnest! As the draculas, gooblins and six-boobed woolfpersons start to roam the neighborhoods, your friends at Forever Midnight decided to sneak one last full-size Baby Ruth into your treat sac for the month. The F(reaky)M3 gathered under the moon to summon a conversation about every Hallow-Fiends must-watch movie of the Spoopy Season, 2007's "Trick 'R Treat"! Enjoy, creeps, and don't forget to check your candy!
Oct 19, 2020
Well, we're in the throes of October, and even though EVERY month is a spewky month for the FM3, they're getting into the Halloween spirit and honing their horror selections for the season, starting with 1986's "Trick Or Treat"! Eddie (Skippy from Family Ties) is a heavy metal loner, and full-blown halloweenis (who the FM3 can relate to completely), whose only reason for living is to someday meet his glam-shockin', snake-blood-chuggin' idol, Sammi Curr. After Curr and friends burn to a crisp while criss-cross-applesauce in a hotel-floor pentangle, Eddie plays the final Sammi Curr record backwards, and bingo - he meets Sammi and his wishes are granted! Here's to hoping that this joyous eighties thrillride tickles your underputty as much as it did the FM3's!
Oct 12, 2020
In this episode, Jeffy Lee Curtis and his tug-mates (Brian and Josh Baldwin) square off against an electric alien whose main purpose is to make a mockery of all humans by using us as cheap-ass arts and crafts supplies. In-between dodging Robo-Brundleflies and janky Cinnaborgs, the crew fight the good fight and have a fun conversation about this wacky, wild, fun-bike of a movie - 1999's "Virus"!
Oct 5, 2020
In this episode, the FM3 hop into the old Canadian cargo van and end up making poutine out of a wicked-ass manwolf that leapt into the road after attacking Ginger, a morose tweenage girl and her sister in a nearby playground. Aside from some weird growths and funky hair, Ginger seems to be just fine. Her sister, on the other paw, believes otherwise, and tries to track down a cure for an increasingly horny Ginger before she gets too big and sketchy. Halloween, plus a full moon are right around the corner, so you just know shit is gonna get lumpy and bumpy - and boy does she ever... Aside from lady werewolves (whatwolves? whywolves?) the crew talk about monstrous genitalia at length, and how they just want more of it. A pretty standard trip to The Great White North. Awwooooooooo!!

This episode of Forever Midnight is Bri Bri's choice and because he's never seen it, and he has a hankering for a hunk of creature, he has selected 2007's "The Mist" for the gang to watch. Like many of our collective all-time faves (Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile), this is a Frank Darabont-directed adaptation of a Stephen King story, so what possibly could go wrong? Spoiler Alert: Josh thinks, "nothing" and Jef thinks, "everything"... let's see if there's anything either of them MIST the first time around? Darabont brings his A-List cast of thousands to the grocery store and lets loose more mistical monsters than you can shake your misticles at in this early CGI creetch feetch: The Mist!

In this episode your friends at Forever Midnight decided to unbury the often forgotten about 90's film "Pet Sematary 2". Sure it may stink a little and act a tad unpredictable from time to time but it is also filled with wild ass dream sequences, werewolf tits, Gilbert Goose M.D., Sheriff von Frankenstein and the shittiest turd burgling undead teen bully you ever laid your pug poppin' eyeballs on! Get ready because dead isn't always better when you can resurrect a decent sequel out of the sour earth like Director Mary Lambert.
Sep 5, 2020
In this episode your friends at Forever Midnight experienced some minor memory loss due to an attack by the infamous Karl Raymar regarding whether or not they had already done an episode on the 1982 film "One Dark Night". After a brief Psychic reading with some Instagram Live friends - they decided WTF?! They then proceeded to drive head on into the cemetery to chat about this seldom talked about 80's gem. This film is jam packed with cool 80's vibes, super fun practical FX and a Energy Vampire whose corpse is filled with enough pink lightning to light up 10 mausoleums - the FM3 knew it was the right choice all along.
Aug 28, 2020
In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight decide to take a peek "Beyond the Door" (1974) where they feast their eyes on a table-length, family-style serving of Italian Exorcist. I hope you want extra cheese grated all over your heapin' helpin', cuz this Satanic car wreck of a film is cheesy as Hell. The homies also chat about Brian's recent streak in the superhero biz and (of course) about their testicles one last time. All in all, great fun was had juggling nuts, demons, and this unpredictable flick, known also as "The Devil Within Her".
Aug 21, 2020
In this episode, the FM3 take a trip to Potatovillle, Idaho where they investigate a toxic waste spill and the lumpy, bumpy, mutated aftermath that is the namesake of 1983's "The Being". As the disappearances of townspeople begin stacking up, so does the green slime they leave behind, making this Easter Sunday egg-stra messy. But there is hope! "The Scientist" (Martin Landau) and "The Police Detective" (Rexx Coltrane) attempt to destroy the mutant freak and return their sleepy town to the normal task of banishing ever-present smut peddlers instead of worrying about "The Being"!
Aug 14, 2020
In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight change into janky bats and fly back to the 1970's to watch two groovy-ass Vampire flicks; 'Blacula' and 'Scream, Blacula, Scream!' Like a delicious blood-filled wine glass, these movies have possibly improved with age, sporting plenty of goofy facial hair, inept police officers, awkward smooches, sinister curses and (last but not least) green-skinned, blood-snackin' ghouls. So join us as we duck into the cape of William Marshall as African Prince Mamuwalde, Kicker of all the Ass and Slurper of all the Blood... aka BLACULA!!!
Aug 7, 2020
We are back with another voicemail episode! There's a lot to catch up on since Covid hit and slowed everything way down. We get to hear from some of the usual suspects, along with a few surprise callers. And at some point we even talk about horror movies! Hooray! So take a trip back in time with us to the beginning of 2020, as we dive deep into this mix bag that is "listener voicemails".
Jul 13, 2020
In this weeks episode your friends at Forever Midnight hop on the Duane train, and no we are not talking about The Rock, We are talking about the one and only Duane Jones and his starring role in the wild, blood filled, art house Film "Ganja & Hess"! Directed by actor/writer Bill Gunn, this film is a very distant relative of Blaxploitation /cult films of the time and is unlike any "Vampire" film The FM3 have ever seen. So Grab your crucifix, mason jar of Hammer Blood and ancient bone knife and get ready for "Ganja & Hess" (1973).
Jul 6, 2020
In this episode your friends at Forever Midnight return from hiatus with an episode that was recorded at the beginning of June 2020. We talk about the current Civil rights movement as well as Wes Cravens two blockbuster hits "The Hills Have Eyes" (1977) and "The Hills Have Eyes 2" (1984) both starring Michael Berryman!

The Forever Midnight kids are going back to school, and just in time for another Hamilton High Prom! Mary Lou is back again, escaped from the Under-Over, and she wants her flippin' crown (as well as some twenty-something teenage hanky-panky) in Prom Night 3: The Last Kiss (1990). All the characters of typical late eighties Canadaville USA high school life are in play: sax-tootin' jocks who can't crack a book, their hate-baking girlfriends, inept faculty who snip off their own fingers and can't fight off an ice cream attack, and most famously, a horny she-ghost from the fifties to grant your every wish... as long as you dig the graves! It may not be the final installment of the Prom Night franchise, but it's the end of the line for the FM3, so let's head back to the Inbetwixt to get lucky!
May 18, 2020
In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight travel back to 1957 to watch a young balding man murder his cheating ex with a stink bomb. Needless to say, whenever that happens, you are surely creating a pissed-off revenge-ghost that's gonna return in 30 years to boff your son and possess Hamilton High's very own Carrie White - just so she can strap that dusty old crown onto her krispy krueger melon. All in all, a pretty solid plan! So join us as we chat about the little talked about classic 'Hello Mary Lou, Prom Night 2'! (1987)
May 11, 2020
Tonight, you've got a date with Forever Midnight! Let's get gussied up in our ruffliest outfits and head out to the Hamilton High School Prom where verrry slowly, we'll discover that a killer is on the loose, that Jamie Lee's character has little to no clue that anyone is in danger, and that a monobrowed caveman is gearing up for a plan he can't even spell. One by one, teens (who may or may not be in their thirties) are falling victim to the sparkly-ski-masked-mystery-killer, so please take our arm as we spike the punch with equal parts Disco & Leslie Nielsen and pray we get lucky on Prom Night (1980)!!!
May 4, 2020
In this episode your friends at Forever Midnight take a trip south of the border to check out the 2017 film "Tigers Are Not Afraid". The FM3 chat about child actors, drug cartels, and the series "Cursed Films" on Shudder as well as some travel tales of their own. As an added bonus the gang has figured out a new Quarantine recording technique that is sounding real swell. So feel free to take your masks off because this episode is coming at ya with that pre-'Rona feel!
Apr 27, 2020
In this episode The FM3 are transformed into the FM5 as we are joined by our buddies Michael Conrad and Becky Cloonan!! We all form a jolly green giant of gelatinous Voltron meat and talk about being creative in the end times, Elijah Wood and his many friends, how Conan the Barbarian and HP Lovecraft are bedfellows and even a little about the new Richard Stanley directed film "Color out of Space". All in all the FM crew were so glad to connect with their friends even if it had to be thru their computer phones. We hope you enjoy this crazy episode as the spooky super friends unite!
Apr 20, 2020
In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight must have rubbed a crusty old lava-lamp, because they ended up with the genie from "Wishmaster" (1997). They thought everything was coming up 'Midnight when the Djinn offered to grant em three wishes, but soon they would face the dire consequences of their selfish actions. Like you, the FM3 are currently trapped in their homes, only able to bring you episodes from the deep, dark nether-web. 'Wish' them luck (wink wink) to get thru this nightmare... they're gonna need it!
Apr 6, 2020
While we wait for the world to return to business as usual, we decided to take you on a little trip down memory lane, and do sort of a best of our first 25 episodes. Remembering a time when world didn't seem so serious. Joining us on some of the snippets are a range a special guests, including: Michael Grais (Poltergeist screenwriter), Dustin Heald (FX artist), William Katt (Carrie), Mark Borchardt (Coven, American Movie), Jacy McIntosh (Grimm), Pat Healy (The innkeepers, Cheap Thrills), William Lustig (Maniac, Maniac Cop), Tom McLoughlin (Friday The 13th: Jason lives, Sometimes They Come Back), Miko Hughes (Pet Sematary, Wes Craven's New Nightmare) and our dear friend, Josh Drake to round out the bunch. Thanks to all the folks who have stuck with us since the beginning, and to all the people just joining us, "welcome!" We hope you all enjoy. See you next week for an all new episode, quarantine style.
Mar 30, 2020
Since we're all tucked away in our own little Nests, these days, the FM3 infest their eyeballs with this roach-filled, Amazon Prime streamer from 1988. We learned so much about pest control, flagrantly cheating on girlfriends, island politics, mixing volatile chemicals indoors, mad-science, genetic mutation and - last but not least - songs about cockroaches. Needless to say it was just what the Plague-Doctor ordered during this crazy quarantine. Join us as we chat about "THE NEST!"
Mar 23, 2020
Alright gang, on this episode of Forever Midnight, each one of the FM3 paid money to watch the directorial debut of everyone's favorite goth-metal senior citizen, Glenn Danzig. And friends... Worth. Every. Penny. Like many of you sweet listeners, we're all sheltering-in-place for the time being, so we got together on the internet for this one. Lend us your ears as we "Skype, Skype, My Darling" (sorry) and discuss this "Mother" of all low-budge, softcore trash-heaps, "Verotika" (2019)
Mar 16, 2020
In this episode your friends at Forever Midnight get to head bang to a new version of their theme song, find out that Jef almost became a pirate, how cool the New Zealand film commission must be and open up a big box of "Church Stuff" to smash demons in the face! Yep we are talking "Deathgasm" from 2015 and that means it is of course another fantastic episode of the worlds number one horror podcast Forever Midnight! (insert bloodfart sound here)
Mar 9, 2020
Forever Midnight went for the movie theater hat trick and saw Invisible Man (2020). What they saw, or maybe didn't see (wink wink) was another film filled with gaslighting, revenge and some top notch technology. Which leads us to discuss other technological advances, enemas and the horror that is the current state of medical coverage in California.
Mar 2, 2020
In this Episode your friends at Forever Midnight rolled the dice for a second week in a row and saw the new film "The Lodge". Filled with ups, downs, curve snow-balls and an unhealthy dose of gaslighting this film left the FM3 a wee bit unsettled and ready to record another happy go lucky episode for your ears. Join us as we make imaginary snow angels, give each other sleeping pills and wake up in various areas of the research center and talk about how this film is many things... and among those things might be a house and or cabin.
Feb 24, 2020
After a slight hiatus following the release of their first short film, the geniuses at Forever Midnight scooped up tickets to see everyone's favorite 600 year old fairytale: "Gretel and Hansel". Afterward, the FM3 tooted one another's horns for a fortnight, ultimately concluding that you don't always need an avenger or a wolverine to make a kids' story worth watching for horror nerds.
Jan 27, 2020
In this episode, the Forever Midnight crew call upon the ancient ones and spend a demon wish on a horror film filled with incredible acting, more than one minion monster, some heavy metal tunes and maybe a sprinkle of virgin ginger blood. Needless to say, it has been a dark time here at The Scary Movie Research Center. Join us as we descend into the abyss of infinite nonsense and talk about 'Gate 2: Trespassers' (1992).
Jan 20, 2020
In this brand new episode, your crewmates at Forever Midnight sink seven miles down into the murky depths to watch Alien, er, I mean 'Underwater' (2020). The FM crew had fun chatting about deep-sea-creeps, big and small (like TJ Miller), what it must be like filming an underwater horror movie besides just getting your tube socks moist, and talked at length about how a certain Rock Hard Zombie was able to get published in a popular adult publication. Dive in underwear first and enjoy our newest episode before we blow our suits!!!
Jan 13, 2020
In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight find themselves at the business end of a top-tier Patreon movie pick and are forced to watch the 1985 kookoo bananas trip that is "Hard Rock Zombies". Nothing could prepare them for the journey they were about to embark on as the screen is riddled with mullets, little people, werewolves, nazis, necromance, town meetings, skateboarding, a couple zombies, a smidge of pedophilia and some totally sweet jams that apparently make you want to dance just about everywhere. As the FM3 try to regain composure, they quickly realize they are the latest victims of one of the most insane motion pictures ever pieced together. Will they ever be the same? Will they die in 7 days?! Tune in to find out!
Jan 7, 2020
Happy New Year From your friends at Forever Midnight! We decided to wipe the slate clean for this first episode of 2020 and talk about our personal top 20 favorite horror films of the last 20 years! Dec 24, 2019
Happy Holidays from your friends at Forever Midnight! We decided to wrap up this year with a special holiday treat: For the last episode of 2019, we chat about the wild, bucking reindeer ride that is the 1989 French holiday horror gem "Dial Code Santa Claus" AKA "Deadly Games". Throwing in some ingredients from Die Hard & Silent Night, Deadly Night, this film stands (home) alone in the sheer insanity of it all. You better think twice before assuming you have seen everything holiday horror has to offer. Join us as we dive into this fake Santa's bag and sift thru a while lotta crazy! Thank you all for listening this past year and we look forward to some more fun in 2020. Happy Holidays!
Dec 17, 2019
Happy holidays, brainiacs! First, we got "Punish"ed, and then, it's was "Garbage Day!". For the third installment of "Silent Night, Deadly Night", lil' Ricky is resurrected once again for "Better Watch Out". Ricky is a little worse for the wear, with his goofy brain now on the outside of his body and inside of a juicy fishbowl. The psychic link he's established with Laura, the beautiful blind teenager, has made her the focus of his murderous attention (for whatever reason). Can Robert Culp and Tony from West Side Story catch Ricky before he kills sweet Laura? Is this a straight fever dream we're experiencing? Join fake director, Uncle Monte and the FM3 to find out. Creepy Christmas, you Cretins!
Dec 2, 2019
This week, our poison got picked by one of our top-tier Patrons, and this time, things got extra greasy. The FM3 were shit-scared as they watched and reviewed "The Greasy Strangler" - a cult classic not quite made for anyone! This movie is bonkers, so sit back as your favorite bullshit artists sift through this mind-bending mess-terpiece.
Nov 22, 2019
In this episode, sh'boys got to wander down under to the subways and sewers of Jolly Old England and watch a Patreon-pick: 2004's "Creep". While underground, the FM3 get locked in and take a dip in the stink lagoons, try their hand at amateur surgery and realize public transit is for the birds... or at least for the dogs in birdcages.
Nov 16, 2019
In this episode the FM3 finally get to check in on their old pal Danny Torrance. How has he been? What's he been up to? Does he own that cute little hot dog stand down there in Miami like they always hoped? Does he still see dead people? Is Tony as cool as he looked in the TV version? All these questions and so many more are answered as the boys check out the brand new Stephen King adaptation, Doctor Sleep MD.
Nov 8, 2019
In this episode the FM3 travel back in time to when the entire world was just wet and grizzled. While there the boys ran aground and came upon Robert Eggers newest film "The Lighthouse". So In-between tending to their chores and trying to jerk off mermaids the guys realize they have all lost their minds and are just trying to get back to a place that makes sense and maybe isn't so soggy. The boys highly suggest you grab a bed pan and some rain boots because this one is dripping and oozing WTF's?!
Oct 29, 2019
Finally, an installation in the Halloween franchise for the internet Generation... it's 2002's Halloween: Resurrection! Jamie Lee is back (for like a minute), plus Tyra Banks and Busta Rhymes awkwardly host our journey. So, if you really wanna party with me, put Forever Midnight where your ears can see, straight Mike Myers in the place to be! To further quote Mr Rhymes, "Trick or treat, motherf*ucker!"
Oct 22, 2019
In this episode the FM3 hop in the old midnight rambler and take a drive thru all kinds of topics, stopping off at a few memorable locations such as "hiders in the walls", Mindhunter, haunted "ass-pennies" and the new Creepshow series. Buckle up and join us for this lumpy bumpy ride!
Oct 16, 2019
Just when you thought the 90's couldn't get any goofier, along stumbles awkward, ill-fitted, Michael Myers, 20 years older but still none the wiser. He's got murder on his mind and his long-lost fake dead sister Laurie Strode (now living out West) is his number one target. So join the FM3 for the October road trip to end all road trips: Michael Myers is going back to Cali and not even LL Cool J can stop how dumb this shit is gonna get! It's H20... the wettest installment in the franchise!
Oct 7, 2019
A member of the honorable Forever Midnight Society has spoken and thus, our fate has been chosen. In this episode, we're back with a Patreon pick from one of our dearest Patrons and the film up for review is a crazy little 2018 gem called "Incident in a Ghostland." ~ Is there a horror movie you'd love to hear us discuss? Become a member of The Forever Midnight Society over at patreon.com/forevermidnight to be able to pick our poison!
Sep 22, 2019
What sinister force drew young Susan to the Mausoleum? What ancient abomination was released that windy afternoon? Since we're asking questions, how did that dude's head explode, who left Ben the Gardener alone with the lady of the house, and why does a demon kill a grown man with a handheld fork hoe? The real question is "Who gives a shit?". There's enough glowing eyes, floating bodies, lumpy demons and naked Bobby Bresee to render 1983's "Mausoleum" a plotless gem!
Sep 14, 2019
'IT' has risen again... and we made a promise to each other that should this day ever come, the FM3 would return to finish IT off. We loved the first chapter. Will we love the 2nd? Only one way know for sure. It's time for the FM3 to face IT: Chapter 2.
Sep 4, 2019
In this episode the boys finally get to sit down while in Long Beach and talk with the incredibly talented duo that is Little Shop of Gore!! We chat about their horror roots and how their awesome brand came to be. We also take a moment to chat about our first live show at Midsummer Scream and how much fun that whole convention is each year. We had such a great time hanging with Ryan and Salina and hope to have them on again soon!
Aug 28, 2019
The FM3 dive into the film world of "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" (2019 - based off the book series of the same name) and for one of the dudes, the experience might have been too real... for he now may have his own scary story to tell! So, will this movie "chill your bones" or is it about as satisfying as chewing on a "big toe"? Only one way to find out! Kill the lights and snuggle up kiddies, as we tackle "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark".
Aug 15, 2019
The Mystic Museum in Burbank, California is a one-stop-shop for all things occulty, artistic and killer. On September 7th, this ever-growing and expanding hub for vintage oddities, occult artifacts and witchy wear is presenting "The Evil Dead - An Immersive Experience", which will feature many original Evil Dead props on display for the first time and an Evil Dead-themed art show. The FM3 got to sit down at the Mystic Museum with Proprietors, Kiko and Erick to talk about their humble beginnings, the real ghosts that live in their shop, and this Fall's upcoming event. Plus, there's some FM Voicemails. Groovy!
Aug 8, 2019
If you're a fan of the show then you know our love of everything Art The Clown. Finally, the FM3 were able to sit down with actor, David Howard Thornton and learn a little something about the man behind the clown - and it did not disappoint. Honk honk!
Jul 23, 2019
We're back in the studio for VHS-2 of Stephen King's "The Shining" - the Mick Garris-directed, made-for-television shit-show starring that flycatching, bowl-cutted nobuddy as Danny and that asshole from 'Wings' as Jack Torrance. Maybe something actually happens in the second half of this piece of trash? Probably not. We're joined again by the homey Shane Goepel, Co-Owner of HenHouse Brewing Company and Drummer in Polar Bears - a legend on two fronts! Also, a true mensch amongst mensches for enduring this full-blown grueller with us. Take your medicine, you pup - it's Part 2 of… "The Shaning"
Jul 22, 2019
Inviting Horror Fan, Musician & Brewer, Shane Goepel to co-host Forever Midnight with us is a celebration of our nearly two decades of friendship, and something the FM3 have wanted to do for a very long time. Not-so-coincidentally, Shane is Co-Owner of HenHouse Brewing Company in Sonoma County, who (as part of their 'Conspiracy IPA' series) are releasing a pair of 'Shining' themed beers this week: "Kubrick's Landing", and its session beer companion, "Hedge Maze." What better way to really dissect "The Shining" - one of our culture's most treasured scary stories? Well, a better way would have been to watch the original, but instead, we chose Mick Garris & Stephen King's made-for-television adaptation of "The Shining" for this epic 2-part episode. So crack a cold one, and join us for the VHS-1 of… "The Shaning."
Jul 14, 2019
It's a beautiful, warm, sunny Sommar's day... what could possibly go wrong? Well, we're about to find out as we tackle Ari Aster's newest kick to the nuts, 'Midsommar' (2019) - a breakup film that promises a lot more push for the tush than your average creepy cult flick.
Jul 3, 2019
Here comes round 2 of Listener Voicemail! This time we got tales of Vegas, vomit, boners, brains, and of course more poop. Also featuring "Sloppy Pockets", and the glorious return of Barry Abernathy aka MC Scary Barry, and a few listener questions get answered as well.
Jun 21, 2019
Part Bush-Era morality tale, and part Anti-Road-Dome-PSA, 1996's "Thinner" is on the waning arc of quality when it comes to Stephen King film adaptations. Nevertheless, the FM3 tuck their napkins into their collars and hunker down for a heapin' helpin' of Gypsy magic and misdirected anger as Tom Holland serves us a fat slice of Richard Bachman pie! Plus, to wet your appetites, we've prepared a teenaged-Josh phone call for an hors d'eouvre …from back when he was… Thinner
Jun 13, 2019
The Forever Midnight Audience has spoken, and the FM3 have listened! Evidence is here in our first ever voicemail-only episode - and friends, these stories are CRAZY. Thrill to tales of nature-poops gone horribly wrong! Return again to The Haun(k)ted Adult Bookstore! Hear the grizzly confessions of the Kentucky Sloppy-Pocketeer! All the while, your dudes pipe in with their own candid tales of woe (whoa!). We barely break the surface here, but it's a bonafide hoot. P.S. Call the Forever Midnight Hotline today! Don't delay! (707) 327-2984. Please leave a message at the sound of the pooooooop...
May 31, 2019
It's morning time for the FM3 and we're gearing up to put our whole mouth around a hot cup of The Stuff. Enough is never enough of us talking about - yep, you guessed it... The Stuff (1985), and when we're done, you'll be left "wanting mo." (*wink wink).
May 24, 2019
How do you do? Forever Midnight feels it would be a little unkind to present this episode without just a word of friendly warning. We're about to unfold the story of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994), a story of man who had big ideas but piss-poor dexterity, and nary a shirt in sight. I think it will thrill you. It may shock you. It might even horrify you. So if any of you feel that you do not care to subject your nerves to such a strain, now is your chance to, uh... Well, we've warned you.
May 3, 2019
We are dropping a big fat jack-o-lantern on your head with this one. In the style of some more classic FM episodes from the past. This episode covers not 1... or 2... but 3 movies!!! Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) & Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995). So get comfortable and enjoy our treats you mark ass tricks, cuz this is a long one. Happy "halfway to" Halloween, y'all!
Apr 23, 2019
In this episode, the FM3 go to see a remake of the movie that ironically warned us in 1989 that "sometimes dead is better." And, like many of the story's characters, we knew better... and STILL wandered over the deadfall only to end up in the remake of 'Pet Sematary'. The dudes send this shit-show off into the great beyond, hopefully never to be watched again.
Apr 10, 2019
How do you describe the indescribable? That is the challenge we face this episode as we try to make sense of the 1983 "batshit awesome" fever dream that is... The Boxer's Omen (Mo)
Mar 28, 2019
In this episode the FM3 join hands and travel underground to Sunny Santa Cruz to visit below the beautiful and busted-ass Beach Boardwalk. While there, they have an honest-to-goodness chat about Jordan Peele's newest film "Us". So sit back, relax, and get tethered to your boys at Forever Midnight.
Mar 26, 2019
In this episode the FM3 talk new Horror documentaries, grand holes in the ground, and we dig into a newer and somewhat lesser known film "Ghost Stories" (2017). Plus we got more voicemails. Join us and enjoy this new episode!
Mar 7, 2019
In this episode the FM3 decided to take their asses out for a night on the town filled with popcorn, candy and soda pops. They found themselves sitting in plush recliners torturing their poor little eyeholes with the brand new 2019 film "The Prodigy". Join them for this wild ride to the hospital and beyond as they birth a new evil episode of Forever Midnight.
Feb 21, 2019
Come with us for a magic Wonka boat ride full of madness, murder and the undead, as we review Dead & Buried (1981). And if that doesn't satisfy your appetite, we go on to discuss the joy of cooking... your own genitals. Yep! Even in a world of pure imagination, your snozzberries will certainly taste like snozzberries.
Feb 4, 2019
To kick off the new 2019 season of Forever Midnight, a wonderful Patreon Patron chose the lumpy, bumpy, slimy, grimey "Society" from 1989 for the FM3 to watch and review. The boys had a lot of fun talking about this crazy movie... they actually couldn't shunt-up about it! We hope you buttheads enjoy this slippery episode half as much as they did.
Jan 25, 2019
In honor of dropping our 100th episode, we dive back into our Stephen King 'Night Shift series'. Josh unearths 'Petaluma Junior High School Massacre: Part 1". Jef gets "instant drunk" and reaches out to two beloved guests of the show. And finally we are blessed by amazing friends and fans leaving us incredible messages that we will share with you all. Thank you so much for listening and your continued support as we've grown the podcast over the years. We couldn't have done it without you.
Dec 20, 2018
"PUNISH!!" The FM3 must have been extra naughty this year... Santa brought us a big ol' lump of coal called 'Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2". It's now "garbage day", and the boys are ready to take this trash out!
Nov 27, 2018
In this episode the FM3 discuss the joys of revenge, sex with E.T., seeing Goblin perform live, and a review of OVERLORD (2018).
Nov 7, 2018
In this episode we reach critical wackness with our review of the 1998 classic... err, I mean 2001 horror flop, '13 Ghosts'. We totally stay on topic the entire time ...err, I mean get distracted by random nonsense and laugh our way through such amazing subjects as... shoelaces, virtual reality, all day orgasms & nail biting.
Oct 27, 2018
This Halloween, we discuss Halloween (1978), Halloween (2018) and also the Halloween 40 convention we attended. Could we get much more Halloweenie this Halloween?! Its the most Halloween we've ever Halloweened! Happy Halloween, everybody!
Oct 12, 2018
In this episode the FM3 find themselves checking out a film that might be a figment of their imaginations, or at the very least a "choose your own adventure" Fever dream. Listen as the boys conjure the 1981 film "The Pit" out of thin air and into your VCR's.
Oct 7, 2018
This Halloween season, San Francisco Drag Queens, Peaches Christ and Trixxie Carr - along with roughly 30 other performers - are blowing open the gates (of the creepy old SF Mint Building) with 'Terror Vault' - an all-engaging theatrical haunt experience. Trixxie is with the FM3 in-studio to talk about the event, as well as Panos Cosmatos' divisive 2nd feature film about acid and revenge, 'Mandy'. Come trip balls with us, won't you?
Sep 25, 2018

Tim Kasher is probably best known as the singer of indie-punk mainstays, Cursive & The Good Life - things that the FM3 hardly talk about in our lengthy conversation with this modern rock legend! Also barely mentioned: Tim's directorial film debut, 'No Resolution', screening in most major US cities this September with a Q&A and musical performance by TK (09/11th at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco, for local listeners). What we DO talk about is Tim Kasher's love of horror films old & new, being a movie lover living in Hollywood, being a fan-fiction screenwriter, and of course, a little food talk.

Pepper movie, Prince, found pornography, and the recent anthology film, "Holidays". Plus Josh does a couple of impressions. Horror fans probably know Miko best as little Gage Creed from Pet Sematary, or Dylan from Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Sure, we talk about his many experiences as a child star, but mostly it's just 4 dudes cracking jokes, talking about Bacon, EDM, how memory works, drugs and whatever else we feel like... Plus movies too! We had a great time and now, we are inviting you to join us... So stop reading, grab a beer, and hit play.
Mar 17, 2015
This episode is all about body modification. And yep.... You guessed it. We are talking about 2013's 'Horns' starring Daniel Radcliffe, and Kevin Smith's most recent film 'Tusk'. I know... Just gonna have to listen to the episode to find out.

We recently had the pleasure to chat with the creator of one of our favorite horror films 'One Dark Night', writer/director Tom McLoughlin. We talk about everything from his films, to his rejuvenated music career, and to where he will eventually be buried. So give it a listen!

In this installment, The FM3 have the pleasure of sitting down with screenwriter, director & actor, Mark Borchardt of American Movie / Cöven fame. An amazing dude and all-around über-personality, Mark keeps us rapt with his vast knowledge of film history, tales of his post-documentary goings-on, and what the future holds for the extremely bright director. At Mr. Borchardt's request, we watch and review one of the oldest films about demonic possession, 'Häxan: Witchcraft Through The Ages' as well as one of the newest, 'Deliver Us From Evil'. Plus, we use 3 umlauts in the synopsis for this show! Don't miss it!!

We've pulled out all the stops for this extra-dirty installment of Forever Midnight and the finished product is not for the meek. This is a Forever Midnight that might leave you wanting a shower, and that may put the three of us in marriage counseling. Indulge and enjoy at your own discretion…

Here's Episode 9 of Forever Midnight! We have somehow been blessed enough to score an interview with the actor, William Katt, who many may know as The Greatest American Hero, but scary movie fans like us LOVE as Tommy Ross in 'Carrie' and Roger Cobb in'House'! Mr. Katt sat down with us in Santa Rosa and we chopped it up about Brian De Palma's Carrie, the recent remake, his new film, 'Sparks' and a bevy of other topics. PLUS we talk about our great experience at Kirk Von Hammett's Fear Fest-Evil, meeting Heather Langenkamp and our early Freddy Krueger experiences. Enjoy!

We break the mold a bit and take the podcast out of the studio and into Josh's house (where some of us may have had a bit too much to drink). It's a bit rambling and pretty dirty, but for our wild and loose Video Nasties episode, it works just fine! Films in discussion are: Lifeforce, Freakmaker, Bride of Re-Animator, Fright Night (1985), The Sentinel, Poltergeist 3 and All Hollow's Eve. Plus various holiday horror short films. Enjoy!

It has been a while since we last recorded an episode (featuring the amazing Michael Grais), and I assure you, the lapse in time had nothing to do with laziness. We've been hard at work on many other projects, including some new stuff for Forever Midnight that we can't wait to show you! But finally it's here... Episode 5. Let the soothing sounds of our voices take you away while we bash the shit out of the brand new remake of Carrie . Sure, its not all bad, and there are some people out there that did like it ... but give it a listen. We might just change your mind. Somehow though, I think we will just be preaching to the choir. It's a fun episode, no matter what side you stand on. All are welcome, and.... ..."they're all gonna laugh at you!" -Forever Midnight

That's right, you've heard us talk about Poltergeist before, but now hear us talk about it with one of the creators of the film, Michael Grais - who not only was the writer on the first Poltergeist film, but was writer and producer of the sequel, Poltergeist II: The Other Side . Sit back, relax, and listen to us talk about little-known facts about the films and other ghostly tales in our exclusive interview with Michael Grais.
