But Boyd Epley not only remembers it vividly, but he was part of a pioneering few who actually reformed this broken system. He’s a god at the University of Nebraska and a founder of the NSCA. He was able to convey the importance of power over conditioning for football players, which was not an easy fight. What followed was some of the most dominant performances the sport had ever seen and proof that Boyd was onto something big.
