A marathon is 26.2 miles run. Most people never run one marathon. Tony Reed has run 100's. He is one of fifty people worldwide, who completed the marathon “hat trick.” This consists of finishing (1) at least 100 marathons, (2) a marathon on all seven continents, and (3) a marathon in each of the fifty States. He was inducted into the National Black Distance Running Hall of Fame in 2017. His journey from childhood with pre-diabetes in the projects of St. Louis to becoming a CPA, corporate executive, record-breaking marathoner, author, and co-Founder of the National Black Marathoners Association is an epic tale of resilience, perseverance, and faith.
