(29:00) Second call-in guest is Trish: Trish has been NSNG off and on for years. She is struggling to get back into it mentally. They discuss various reasons. Be careful of the story you tell yourself. You need to flip the script in your head. (40:00) Leslie is starting her own trail mix company with clean ingredients. (43:00) She's done a lot of research, and it'll be especially great for camping and hiking. Nutrition and Meds Amy is the next caller, and she has a nutrition question. She recently had an intestinal blockage and was in the hospital. (53:00) They discuss possible options as Amy transitions back to regular foods from IV fluids. She is a former triathlete who wants to transition into weight training. (59:30) You can get strong without hours of training. Wayne is next and needs to be wearing some different t-shirt merch. (1:24:00) He tried to transition slowly into NSNG—he's not a "cold turkey" kind of person. He has some concerns with his blood pressure and the medication he is on. Vinnie does not give medical advice, but they discuss what could be causing it. They advise Wayne to get a full health workup and to let his doctor know that he has changed his meds.
