A jury has awarded more than $26 million in damages after finding White nationalists who organized and participated in the violent rally in Charlottesville, Virginia back in 2017 liable on a state conspiracy claim and other claims. Susan Bro’s daughter, Heather Heyer, was killed that day when a man sped his car through a crowd of counterprotesters.
