This Dharma talk was given by Rinsen Sensei at the Buddhist Temple of Toledo in 2016 Everything that we do depends in the state of our heart and mind. Our own actions, however good can be tainted if our heart is not centred in wisdom and equanimity. The ability to respond fully and freely to the troubles of the world depends not being attached to our vision of the desired outcome. For this reason, in the practice of Zen, if you want to save the world, you start with Zazen.
