Not to be overly WOMP WOMP, but the first part of this episode is about as low-key as you'll ever hear us. That's because about 17-ish minutes after we started recording, we lost our connection, and the files with our audio disappeared right before our eyes. This is where we would love to blame the website we use to record, but the truth is we don't have any way of knowing exactly what happened. We just thought that our enthusiastic discussion about the InstantPot was lost in an internet graveyard forever. So. We tried our best to rebound as we started recording all over again. It's safe to say we were weary. BUT WAIT! Our sad tale has a redemptive arc! After I started editing the WOMP WOMP part of the episode, I opened the website where we record. It was a fit of optimism, but I thought maybe - MAYBE - the audio would be there. And do you know what? IT WAS. So you'll hear Discouraged Us for the first 40-ish minutes, but then you'll hear Upbeat Us for the last 15 or so minutes, and DIDN'T THAT ALL WORK OUT AT LEAST SORT OF? Hope y'all enjoy.
