About this episode
The youngest of four siblings, J-oH was born December 29, 1984 in Washington DC. J-oH did not grow up in the ideal situation but his mother made the best of it and worked several jobs to support the family. His father played a role in the beginning but by the age of 4 he began to fade away. J-oH’s mother was his world and was always there to believe in him. Motown became J-oH’s life and R&B became his sprit. He grew up listening to classical, Motown, rock and soft rock, as well as Hip Hop. When his mom passed in November of 1993, when J-oH was 9 years old his father attempted to re-enter his life with no success. J-oH knew that music was his future when he first heard Boogiemonsters’ “Recognized Thresholds of Negative Stress”. To him music was his means to escape and vent about his struggles and what was going on in his life at the moment. J-oH’s first recorded song was a compilation of tracks inspired by his family. It was from this point on that J-oH never put down the pen. Throug Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/dreamhustlewin-podcast/donations
