The prognosis for Haiti's response to the disease remains elusive. Yet, as Singh discovers, doctors firmly believe that the tide is turning on the AIDS battle in Haiti. Haiti's largest health center, in Port-au-Prince, is run by Dr. Jean William Pape who is encouraged by lower rates of infection among newly born infants.
