Hey Carpool Crew, we’ve been talking all about hope this week as we journey through Advent toward Christmas! 🎄 I’m Pastor Justin, and today we’re learning about something that’s not easy — waiting. Our verse is Isaiah 40:3 (CSB): “A voice of one crying out: Prepare the way of the Lord in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert.” God’s people had waited a long time and were tired of wondering if He still had a plan. But through Isaiah, God said, “I haven’t forgotten you — get ready for Me.” If Jesus were sitting beside you, I think He’d say, “Waiting isn’t a waste of time — it’s heart time.” Waiting teaches us to trust, pray, and grow closer to God. Advent reminds us that waiting isn’t a pause in the story — it’s part of it.
