The next topic Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan explains the different pronouns used for Allah in the Quran including “We”. Ustadh highlights it’s only used in 1st person and never in 2nd or 3rd person with reference to Allah so it is the royal “We” not the “we” used for plurals. Ustadh explains that using “We” in the Quran indicates the formality and using “I” indicates the informality. Furthermore, Ustadh explained, using different examples from the Quran, that the usage of “I” is associated with either extreme love or extreme anger from Allah. One of the examples is “The Last Supper” in Surah Al-Ma’idah Ayah 114 & 115.
