41. Akhri Moujza | An Introduction to Oaths in the Quran | Urdu Series

In episode 41 of Akhri Moujza, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan starts by introducing a new topic: “Oaths in the Quran”. Ustadh Nouman begins by discussing various occasions in which a person takes an oath, which includes “to show anger”, “to clear doubt”, “a testimonial oath” and “casual/purposeless oaths”. Ustadh Nouman explains that before Islam it was common for Arabs to take oaths without any purpose, so the Quran takes into consideration their cultural habit of taking oaths casually and showed leniency about it.
