New Texas Stars Head Coach, Former Dallas Star Toby Petersen Joins The Show | DLLS Stars Podcast

Petersen played in the NHL for Dallas, and the Edmonton Oilers, while also winning a Calder Cup championship with Texas in 2013-14. He retired after that season, immediately jumping into coaching with the Springfield Falcons (AHL) in 2014-15. The next year, 2015-16, he helped the Lake Erie Monsters win the Calder Cup, working under head coach Jared Bednar. Most recently, Petersen spent the last two seasons (2023-25) working with Bednar again, as the skills coach for the Colorado Avalanche.
