Title says it all. Not particularly happy. Dunno when we'll be back other then to vent.
Nov 20
The boys are back to talk through everything that's happened since the loss to the Titans and review the 2025 season in their 50th episode. There's plenty of rust and double that in shit talk. All the best. Good to have y'all back.
Sep 11
We told you this one was coming! Mac and Joel Helmes run thru all the best and brightest prospects we've got running around in the pathways in this special episode. We can't thank Joel enough for his time, truly one of the greats. Enjoy!
Sep 6
We're here. Round 27. We run thru the news cycle, review the Canberra game and preview our last match of the year. Pathways, as always, follows. We're going to have a couple weeks off from here. We'll see you all after the GF!
Sep 1
No 'WTF' episode today, instead a chat between Mac and the fabled Wests Tigers pathways player, Tino 'Air Tino' Tavana. We'll be back Friday!
Aug 26
Well, we're back. We've been here before. We review what went down last Sunday and look to what comes next, including the match against the Raiders, stadium policy and pathways. Enter 15wests at the checkout for 15% off @ thenonalcoholicclub.com.
Aug 22
We're lucky enough to sit down with current Wests Magpies SG Ball Captain, Archie Duncombe, to talk all things footy and life. We haven't heard a single bad word said about the bloke in our time, and he completely lived up to that expectation. A legend in every sense of the word.
Aug 19
A blockbuster episode as we take you through the comprehensive win against Manly, all the news surrounding WT and a match preview with the On The Ranch lads from Townsville. Pathways follow as always. Enjoy!
Aug 12
A 75-minute runsheet blown out to nearly double that. Lots to discuss as you can probably tell. Reedie's back, so there's that. We look at some good news stories about our favourite sons, the state of our squad, preview the round of footy ahead, assess our preseason pathways draft picks and finish with some Q&A.
Aug 8
The one you've all been waiting for. The Khawdcast, Galvinised by a win against the gimp himself. AI-generated songs, Dennis Burgess, Logan Deninger, Pathways. Begin.
Aug 8
Mac's first of two podcasts on his lonesome sees him review the tragic Penrith game and preview what was quite the match against the Dogs. No doubt his predictions for that Canterbury game were not befitting of what transpired on that incredible day. Pathways analysis also included!
Jul 23
Wincast 7® for 2025. Pathways comes first this week before we talk through some squad movements and the game against the Titans, the Flegg, NRLW and Cup games and some Q&A which was interrupted by some breaking news. Might be best to listen to this one in parts, just quietly.
Jul 17
Join us as we lament yet another week where we lost in every single grade. Discuss the future of the Wests Tigers. Adam D at 13. Wowee let's gooo.
Jul 8
Wincast six of 2025. Win(cast)s in all three grades. Much to discuss. Let's begin.
Jul 2
It just keeps getting worse. Philosophical chat ensues. To hear our funeral service for Tallyn's beautiful eyebrows, head to our YouTube live.
Jun 24
Five straight losses on the bounces has led us into the pit of despair... Or has it? We talk all things TDS, Benji's coaching future and our game against Canberra, before previewing the upcoming Manly fixture. Pathways and a Q&A session, as always, wraps the show.
Jun 11
A passionate Wests Tigers Faithful episode ensues following the loss to Penrith. We chat Kai Pearce-Paul, Taylan May, Adam Reynolds, our pathways and, of course, the officials.
Jun 3
A third successive loss and Benji Marshall's future define much of this episode, before a pleasantly in-depth analysis of NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg's matches over the weekend. A Q&A with those watching on live follows!
May 27
Despite what Reedie says, this is our 34th episode. We try and get the Galvin chat out of the way early, preview the Cowboys match, review the Flegg boys' win in Fiji and then have an extensive Q&A with those in the live chat that boils over into complete and utter nonsense. Enjoy!
May 20
After complaining about WT's Origin curse, the boys process some stats that tell the story of our season so far and give their conclusions on where we're at. Mac watched Cup for the first time in weeks, so we talk about that. We also talk about that loss to Souths.
May 13
64-blot. Yuck. We review the game, argue about player development, have a group therapy session with those tuning in live and then preview the Souths game. We may be far too optimistic by the end of it, but it is the way of a Tigers fan. Pathways is brief this week.
May 7
We've won 2 in a row, confidence high... real Tigers fans know we're gonna die. Or will we? Review, preview, pathways. You know the drill. Head to our YouTube to hear Reedie do a Q&A before the pod.
May 1
Apologies to the streaming crowd, here's last week's episode discussing the loss v Parra backdated.
Apr 30
Not much else to say. A well-earned win built on effort and desire. We wrap the Cronulla game, preview Magic Round and (briefly) discuss pathways.
Apr 16
A replay of what went down on Monday 14/4 at 4pm.
Apr 16
Continuing on from the day previous' proceedings, Mac and Reedie discuss Lachlan Galvin and Isaac Moses' motivations for wanting out of Bunji's Rivolushin. We also dissect a very ugly win against Newy in Newy and look ahead to Easter Monday.
Apr 8
We review a rather interesting match against the Broncos and discuss what went wrong and what surprisingly went right. A preview of the upcoming Knights game ensues as well as a comprehensive pathways wrap-up.
Apr 2
Title says it all. We lament the week that was for Wests Tigers, the mixed results of their pathways sides and discuss the rumoured contract offer put to one Lachlan Galvin.
Mar 27
It does exactly as it says on the tin. We review and preview every single Wests Tigers-affiliated grade heading into a Round 4 clash against NZ we're cautiously optimistic for. Wishing the Laurie Daley Cup boys good luck in their GF this weekend.
Mar 19
Despite the doubts, nerves and uncertainty in the lead-up, the Wests Tigers did what they usually cannot, and won a game they were expected to win. Reedie and Mac dive deep into the game and discuss what take a long lens to some bigger questions, before previewing the game against the Dolphins this Saturday. There's also a comprehensive reserve grade wrap. Comprehensive is probably an understatement.
Mar 14
Reedie is joined by Smelma Bouvier (lung biscuit connoisseur, Joe McCord) to review our Round 1 game against the Knights. Were we that bad? Were we really any good? We don't know, but we try to come to a conclusion. Reedie didn't want to talk about Lachlan Galvin, but Mac did, so we did that too. We also preview the game against the Eels (danger) and wrap five pathways grades.
Mar 5
It's in the title. Round 1 is here. We run thru the teamlist, preview the game v the Knights, talk about Benji Marshall: The Coach, review Junior Reps and talk about every side in the league to finish. Two more sleeps. Apologies for the end there. You can blame Mac for that one.
Feb 27
Wests Tigers Faithful returns after a week-long hiatus to deliver a spellbinding review on both first grade trials and tries to determine Wests Tigers' playstyle going into the 2025 season. We also look at some Players in Focus, review Junior Reps and provide some brief season previews for each of the teams currently in Sin City.
Feb 13
We sit down with two of our favourites, Tim and Noah Johannssen, about life inside and outside the system that is Wests Tigers. Benji's given us his first team list of the year to review as we preview Trial 1 against the Dogs, and we give the run-down on our Pathways sides and their efforts from the week previous.
Feb 4
Providing unfettered access to Wests Tigers apologists the world over, Joe McCord and Jarrod Reedie have the pleasure of hosting Wests Tigers Player #112 and club Pathways & Recruitment Manager, Shannon Gallant, who provides us with some incredible insights into the world of junior representative football. We also review the week that was for our Harold Matts and SG Ball sides.
Jan 30
Like a front rower in Fat Club during the first week of November, we're rusty and we've sunk too much piss, but we're so back. This episode is saved by an interview with Wests SG Ball Assistant Coach, Mitchell Tyler, who gives us some insight on a special playing group ahead of season 2025. We also dissect everything that happened while we were gone, give unwarranted opinions on many talking points above our paygrade and explore the futures of our State Cup, Jersey Flegg, SG Ball and Harold Matthews teams, with the latter two kicking off their campaigns this weekend.
Dec 10, 2024
Silly season is in full swing evidenced by the fact the lads are recording in person for the first time, hosted by The Edinburgh Castle in the centre of the greatest city in the world. A review of the news cycle evolves into a business-esque SWOT analysis of Wests Tigers and a handful of their competition counterparts. 2024 has been a ride. Thank you to everyone who jumped in and played a part. See y'all in 2025. Have a safe and happy holiday season. Disclaimer: Little bit more explicit language than usual.
Nov 28, 2024
The prodigal son returns as Mac's back on the mic, mercilessly turfing Reedie's dad back to listenership. He gives us his thoughts on Terrell May, Fonua Pole and the draw before we talk new jerseys, new sponsors and finally a comprehensive exploration of Wests Tigers' roster, salary cap and positions of interest for the 2026 season. Powered by Pinch Payments. Who else?
Nov 22, 2024
In what was probably the biggest week in Wests Tigers folklore since we launched the podcast, Reedie flies solo (for the majority of the episode) to talk thru Terrell May's signing, the retention of Fonua Pole and Sione Fainu, plus the draw. The last few minutes features special guest and good friend of the show, Clayton Reedie. And shoutout Pinch!
Nov 14, 2024
Mac and Reedie begin with the breach notices for the Fat Five before discussing the allegedly successful meeting between Wests Tigers powerbrokers and Terrell May. The episode then morphs into a fully fledged pathways discussion that encompasses NSW Cup, Jersey Flegg, SG Ball and Harold Matts. Our very uninformed opinions and clear bias shine through even more than usual. This is the part of the description where we thank the all conquering Pinch Payments. Thanks, Pinch!
Nov 6, 2024
While the rooks get down to training, Reedie and Mac discuss the efforts of our new recruits in 2024, where they fit in the jigsaw that is Wests Tigers, and where the ceiling is at this current time. We also talk new training kit and wrongness of head amongst some of our younger stars among other things. Shoutout Pinch Payments!
Nov 1, 2024
Happy NRL New Year. We get right into the weeds of our spine players this year, and remind everyone that we were aware of just how good Lachlan Galvin was as a schoolboy. The boys celebrate the death of the Lee Hagipantelis era and the birth of the Jarome Luai era. Also talk Terrell May and Kobe Hetherington, plus the finalising of our top 30, which had a couple suprises.
Oct 24, 2024
Sorry we're late! We continue our deep dive into the season, where we review the "current" outside backs in our squad and look at what's to come. We also talk the development list, John Bateman (hopefully) to Manly and the bowel troubles of one Charlie Staines. Today's episode is powered by the all conquering Pinch Payments.
Oct 16, 2024
As we reach double figures, Mac and Reedie take a deep dive into the departing and rookie outside backs that took the field for the wonderful (woeful) Wests Tigers in 2024. We also talk breaking news on Adam Doueihi and the ironically titled Awards Night and its subsequent departures list. Same as last week, this is the first instalment of this positional group, with part two to come on Friday. This week's episode is powered by Pinch Payments.
Oct 10, 2024
We crack on with the remaining reviews for our current players plus some assessments of our rookies that will pack the scrum in 2024 and beyond for WT. We also try to answer some difficult questions around whether the pack can improve enough to see the Tiges rocket up the table.
Oct 9, 2024
A comprehensive review into our forwards has commenced, building on the statistical analysis of last week. We also chat long weekend, Grand Final, exotic craft beer, Heamasi Makasini and have some stupidly biased and outlandish claims on some of the forwards at Benji Marshall's disposal. NOTE: This is the first of two part of reviewing the pigs. Part two to come on Friday!
Oct 2, 2024
Aaaand we're back! Apologies it's been so long. Between Reedman's Euro Summer and the Joe McCord Domestic Drinking Tour we've been far too busy to worry about the league's poverty franchise... until now! Introducing Part One of our end-of-year review, commencing with the team and coaches. General small talk evolves into full blown stupidly complicated statistical analysis, followed by a look at each quarter of the season. We also have some big philosophical questions and talk a little about the upcoming Granny. We promise we're back for good. Thanks so much to our listeners and Pinch Payments for powering today's podcast.
Jun 26, 2024
We are once again joined by Nick the New Oracle who predicted we'd beat Canberra at Cambo with Lachlan Galvin starring to see if we can get him to manifest us another hoodoo beating victory this Sunday against the Roosters... plus we review the game, preview the next one, talk about Jordan Miller and Tim Johannssen and other nerdy stuff only Wests Tigers fans will ever care about.
Jun 19, 2024
Oh my word we won an actual footy game!!! Join the Faithful as we discuss this historic victory as the youngest team in the history of sport conquered the mighty Gold Coast Titans at Leichhardt. All that plus a special NRL edition of #MillerWatch this week!
Jun 12, 2024
A car crash begins this week's proceedings of Wests Tigers Faithless as we ask the question like we have so many times before: Is this rock bottom? There's much to discuss. Galvin and Moses, Richo and Chammas, 44 points conceded in 40 minutes, a rather interesting teamlist, plus our weekly pathways wrap. Reedie also signs off before he ditches us all to live it up in the Mediterranean for five weeks. Disclaimer: We recorded before it was announced Jordan Miller (!) would be making his debut. We apologise for the collective lack of excitement.
Jun 5, 2024
A predictably Wests Tigers-less State of Origin is upon us, so the boys give their unsolicited predictions on what's about to go down just hours before kickoff. Jake Simpkin has gone to join Isaac Moses' Manly Sea Eagles, Stefano's about to head to market and we preview Round 14 against the Dargons (Staines in the centres?!). Navren Willett-sized pathways wrap finishes this week's proceedings.
May 29, 2024
Our second episode sees us discuss Benji Marshall's escape to Oceania to work on his handicap, review the latest visit to the Bermuda Triangle, aka Townsville, and go on something of a deep dive into our squad for 2025. We take a look at what's in the news (over to you, Buzz), while a more extensive pathways wrap up concludes proceedings.
May 24, 2024
In our inaugural episode, Mac and Reedie gloat about themselves, tell everyone why they've decided to bloat the WT podcast market even further and even have the hide to outline their goals and aspirations. They also get down to reviewing the all-too-familiar loss in the Dolphins game and look towards Townsville and the North Queensland Cowboys. Plus the inaugural Jordan Miller Watch segment and a look at what's in the news.
