About this episode
Shohei Ohtani pitched four innings, allowing just one run that wasn’t his fault and striking out eight batters. On the offensive side, Ohtani hit a huge two-run homer to give the Dodgers the lead. What a great day, right? Unfortunately, Ohtani’s LA teammates weren’t able to put much else together offensively, and the defense was sloppy in ways that led directly to multiple runs. In the end, the Dodgers lost the game and the series to the Cardinals in frustrating fashion. Jeff Snider and Kevin Skinner talk about the Dodgers finally experiencing a little bit of the Tungsten-Arm O’Doyle curse and the offense feeling the effect of Max Muncy being out of the lineup.
