Pepicelli was named the Ted Thoren Head Coach of Baseball on Aug. 10, 2015, and is currently in his eighth season at the helm of the Cornell baseball program. Entering the 2023 season, Pepicelli has 75 win as the Big Red's head coach, which is already the fifth-most in program history. With 13 wins in 2023, Pepicelli would assume sole possession of the fourth-most wins with the Cornell baseball program. He also begins the season four wins away from reaching 300 head coaching victories. Under Pepicelli's tutelage, Cornell has produced 19 All-Ivy League selections — including five First Team and six Second Team selections.
