Episode 61: Mix It Up! That's right. Diversity wins. That simple sentence is one of my foundational truths as a coach. And I'm not just talking about making sure that you're running recovery runs and long runs and fartlek runs and tempo runs and intervals and hill workouts. I do mean all that too. But I'm also talking about diversifying your purposes and your goals. And I'm talking about bringing diversity into your mindset and how you measure the success of your running. I'm talking about making sure that consistency doesn't become constantly. And I'm talking about diversity should lead to flexibility and should strengthen your strengths and strengthen your weaknesses.
