She explains that urinary frequency is often a symptom of underlying conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, cancer, or stress incontinence. Veterans may receive service connection for urinary frequency either on a primary or secondary basis, depending on when the condition developed. Leah outlines what happens during a C&P exam, including the use of the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) to evaluate the veteran's condition and determine the severity of symptoms, such as the need for absorbent materials or the frequency of bathroom visits.
