Originating from the Fire Hawks Chapter, the Legion's transformation into their current state is shrouded in mystery. The Fire Hawks vanished during a warp jump in 963.M41, only to reappear as ghostly Space Marines who materialize unexpectedly to assist the Imperium's forces in critical battles. These appearances are often marked by their ominous and flame-wreathed armor, adorned with bone motifs and other eerie symbols. Their supernatural resilience and combat prowess are legendary, making them a fearsome presence on the battlefield.
