From Struggles to Strength: Benjamin Lerner’s Journey to Sobriety

In this episode, we have Benjamin Lerner, who has been sober since June 13, 2016. Ever since he can remember, Ben did not feel comfortable in his own skin, and alcohol and drugs would help him loosen up. After dropping out of college at 20 years old, Ben got his first DUI, and his one thought in that moment was that if he were arrested, he would not be able to drink or use that day, and that’s all that mattered. Throughout the years, Ben’s addiction progressed, and he found himself in situations he always told himself he would never end up in.
