Eriq La Salle said he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make this movie with Gloria Reuben. The two worked together on the hospital drama "ER" from 1995-2008. This was Gloria Ruben's first Hallmark Channel movie. Eriq La Salle signed a book deal with Ebony Magazine Imprint Sourcebooks for a thriller crime series in February 2022.
