News and Notes About "The Christmas Secret" This movie shares a release date with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas" - 11/23/14. Norma Bailey directed "The Christmas Secret." Norma has 64 directing credits including two episodes of "The Way Home" from Season 1. Additionally, Norma has worked on a number of series including "Spinning Out" and "Anne with an E," both for Netflix. Wesley Bishop and Judd Parkin wrote the teleplay for "The Christmas Secret." Wesley has 17 writing credits which include "Christmas Town" and "The Christmas Shoes." Judd Parkin has 7 writing credits. His only other Hallmark credit is "Rome in Love," a 2019 Hallmark Movie. "The Christmas Secret" is based on a novel by Donna VanLiere (buy it here on Amazon) Bethany Joy Lenz plays Christine Eisley - This was Bethany’s first movie for Hallmark. She will go on star in "An Unexpected Christmas," "A Biltmore Christmas," and the recent summer smash hit "Savoring Paris." John Reardon plays Jason. John has 39 acting credits including an appeaance on "Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce." John currently plays the title character Charlie Hudson on the series "Hudson and Rex." Susan Hogan plays Judy. Susan has 128 acting credits and a deep Hallmark resume including a movie we recently - "A Very Merry Mixup." For Hallmark she has also been in two "Wedding March" movies, "Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas," "Christmas Joy," "Frozen in Love" and most recently "Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 for Murder." Michael Hogan plays Marshall and yes, Susan Hogan and Michael Hogan are married. Michael has 155 acting credits including one episodes of the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series, although very little else for Hallmark. Greyston has 65 acting credits and also appeared in one episode of the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series. He did appear on one episode of "Once Upon a Time" as well as in the one season wonder "No Tomorrow" on Netflix. Karin Konoval plays Mrs. Meredith. Karin has 142 acting credits including playing Maurice the orangutan in "Rise of Planet of the Apes," "War for the Planet of the Apes," and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." She played Morbidda Destiny on the gone-too-soon "Babysitter’s Club" series on Netflix. Jaeda Lily Miller plays Hayley. Jaeda has 21 acting credits and appeared in a number of Hallmark films like "A Cookie Cutter Christmas," "Christmas in Evergreen" and "Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing." She also played Allie on 52 episodes of "When Calls the Heart."
