Fear of embarrassment can rob you of the very opportunities God has placed before you. Faith and fear both demand belief—one in God’s unseen promises, the other in worst-case assumptions. In the Parable of the Bags of Gold, we see how fear led one servant to hide his gift instead of investing it, ultimately losing his chance to please his master.
