Sam Bilbie Interview (UKA Running Coach Breaking HYROX Records)

This this episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast we get to chat with Sam Bilbie. At the time of recording Sam has only been racing in HYROX for a year. But in that time she’s achieved a lot – breaking the Open and Pro world records for her age group, won the 2023 World Championships in her age group, and was also part of the mixed relay team who broke the world record in London. In her most recent individual Pro race she ran an incredible time of 1:07 – and she’s done all of this, as a mum, at the age of 49. She’s also a UK Athletics endurance coach, has competed on a national level in running and in this chat we talk about her sporting background, and her training, her thoughts around running training, and running technique, for people preparing for HYROX, and lots more.
