In this week’s episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast I get to chat with Dan Plews ( @theplews ). Dan is a world-renowned endurance coach, sport scientist, and elite athlete. Based in New Zealand, he holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology and over the years has coached numerous world-class athletes, including professional triathletes and rowers, helping them to achieve peak performance on the global stage. As well as being an incredibly knowledgeable coach, Dan is very much an athlete himself. He holds the record for the fastest Ironman triathlon ever completed by an amateur, which he achieved at the 2018 Ironman World Championships in Kona, and he has recently completed a solo HYROX in Auckland din just under 59mins.
