In this week’s episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast I get to speak with Mark and Oli Fricker (@mark_does_hyrox and @frickerx ). Mark and Oli are one of the fastest father and son doubles teams to have competed in HYROX. What’s more, Oli is currently in the top 30 Pro men in HYROX, he’s one of the fastest ever British athletes and is looking to break into the Elite 15 this season. And Mark is one of the fastest athletes in the 55-59 age group. In this chat we talk about their sporting background, and their training (@thehyroxcoaches), plus how a stroke, aged 32, left Mark paralysed for a number of years until he rehabilitated himself, and how he now helps people in a similar position to do the same.
