In this episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast we get to chat with Anthony Peressini ( @awildperessini ). Anthony is the husband of the HYROX World Champion Lauren Weeks. But he is also her coach, and coach to two other Elite 15 athletes in Lauren Griffiths and James Kelly. In this chat we talked about so much including his recent hybrid challenge of a heavy bench press and a marathon in the same day, his sporting history and his past as a coach, how his coaching of his wife, Lauren, has evolved over time and what has changed in her training to get her to the place where she was able to smash the World Record in Vienna. We also get into threshold training and lactate testing, mindset, what he changed in James Kelly's training in the few weeks before JK won the Mens Pro race in Cologne, and lots more.
