Did you know that there is sublimation heat transfer vinyl? You can use sublimation vinyl to add beautiful vibrant sublimation ink designs onto cotton and dark colors. In this crafting project, I use HTVRONT Sublimation HTV for Dark Fabric to put infusible ink tie dye designs on black cotton t-shirts. The HTVRONT sublimation heat transfer vinyl I used is matt white so adding colorful sublimation designs to any color fabric is now an option! Inspiration: Quick project, new kind of vinyl, sublimation on dark color fabrics! Crafting Keepers: 1. Cooling down my heat press fast by simply changing how I place it in the heat stand 2. Always read the specific instructions for the specific materials and brands. I can't wait to share this fun and unique way to use the Cricut Maker! I could not get enough of learning about embroidery from my last crafting adventure, so I took it to the next level in this project. I had my Cricut draw and embroidery design on Stick 'N Stitch and created a custom mandala monogram for a jute and canvas summer tote. I had so much fun learning about embroidery stitches that I used to create a beautiful summer accessory! I love finding more ways to ensure that I can be creative even when I am not in my crafting corner! This is a great make-and-take crafting project!

I have been looking forward to cutting felt with my Cricut, but I have been waiting for just the right project! I am a hat girl, and I love creating one-of-a-kind hats, so I decided to combine my love of hats with a fun felt applique project! I found some great designs that my Cricut is cutting the felt for, and I am learning how to attach the felt designs to the hats with some simple embroidery stitches. I can’t wait to share my experience doing this crafting project with you!

In this crafting project I am cutting natural wood veneers into layered boho style earrings with my Cricut Maker and the Deep-point Blade. After my experience with cutting basswood for my seasonal HOME sign I have waited a long time to try cutting wood again with my Cricut. I found two beautiful boho style earring designs on Creative Fabrica that I am using for this crafting adventure. I chose to layer light colored maple on top of the darker walnut veneer to create a beautiful natural layered look to my earrings. Summer is here and I am excited to create a farmhouse-style “Welcome” door hanger to freshen up our front door! This is one of my favorite projects that I have done in a long time. I did need to make a choice between using heat transfer vinyl and permanent vinyl…find out which one I chose and why it was the wrong choice. I found the perfect SVG Welcome design for my project on Creative Fabrica. I am so excited to share with all of you that Creative Fabrica is giving us the opportunity to access over 7 million fonts, graphics, and digital resources in an All Access Subscription Free Trial! I have already started my all-access subscription free trial and I am excited by all the crafting possibilities!

I am going back to the 90’s and customizing neon colored vintage motel keychains. In this quick and easy little scrap vinyl project I am crafting some fun vintage motel keychains. I have talked about it before and I will say it again, our family loves music, and that includes my extended family as well. These little retro motel keychains are perfect for adding a short song lyric to. I have many Taylor Swift fans in my family and Taylor Swift has lots of songs that reference cars and driving so I put some of her car lyrics on a few keychains. These keychains are perfect for a stand alone house key, decoration for a backpack, or to add to your car key fob for some added personality or fun. Using scrap vinyl and reusing some transfer tape from my subway sign project I had a lot of fun with this crafting adventure!

My family is heading to Virginia this week for my niece and nephew's B'Nai Mitzvah. I wanted to make each of them a special one-of-a-kind card for the special occasion. I decided to try the Cricut Foil Transfer System to add a sparkly bulldog dog design to each of their cards. I chose the bulldog designs to represent their Mitzvah Project of volunteering at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and their bulldogs, Moose and Maisel. The cards came out beautiful, and in doing this project, I learned a lot and have some great tips for using the foil transfer system that I can't wait to share with you.

In part two of making wire word knitted wall decor to put over my desk in my preschool classroom I share my experience finding the best kind of yarn to use with the Tulip i-cord Knitter Machine to cover the wire words and shapes that I made last week, the process of making the i-cord and putting it all together. I also learned that bending the wire before adding the knitted i-cord does not always work out well!

We are spring cleaning and creating a new look in my preschool classroom. I teach autistic preschoolers and my team and I have been talking about the infinity symbol for neurodiversity and bringing that into our classroom decor. I saw a reel on Instagram from Isla Sierra doing knitted wire art and I thought that I could make the infinity symbol, a couple of words, and a few shapes crafting the knitted wire wall decor. I used my Cricut for creating two templates for the infinity symbol and the heart shape. In part one of this crafting adventure I am learning to bend crafting wire into shapes and words.

I had my Cricut Maker cut 10 different kinds of fabric! In this crafting adventure, I am putting my rotary blade to work cutting everything from sequin fabric to waxed canvas to create custom tassel keychain bracelet gifts for friends and family. Do you want to add more personality and fun to your usual smart watch bands and bracelets? In this weekend crafting adventure, Kim Wojtalewicz gets crafty with a sublimation smart watch band to create a simple but fun spring and summer design with infusible ink transfer sheets. Kim loves the look of a simple crisp design on a watch band, so she decided to do a black and white daisy design with a little pop of color in the center of the daisies. The sublimation watch band blank was the perfect background for black and teal infusible ink. This project is definitely easy to complete in a couple of hours. Kim even had time to make some colorful bead bracelets to wear with her new smart watch band!

The custom clear acrylic bags are trending right now. And with spring sports here and summer travel around the corner, what better project to have than a Clear Acrylic Bag Project? Kim Wojtalewicz decided to customize a few clear zipper pouch bags with her Cricut. For her bag, she used Teckwrap UV color-changing vinyl for the first time. For her teenage boys, she used Oracal 651 permanent vinyl. The UV color-changing vinyl easily becomes one of Kim’s new favorite materials to work with! These little pouches are perfect for storing snacks, electronic accessories, sun protection, makeup, reusable grocery bags, toiletries, and all the little stuff that might get lost in a backpack or tote bag. Kim’s 16-year-old is using his to store all the candy he got for Easter (which she’s pretty sure will not be full for long). In this crafting adventure, Kim also tries out the one side shadow style for all the lettering on the bags to give it a fun little pop of color and 3D effect! These little bags would make great personalized gifts for teachers, friends, or coworkers!

Want to make your project shimmer and shine? Foil iron on vinyl does just that in my latest crafting adventure. It is baseball season in our house, so I am spending a lot of time outside in the Colorado sunshine watching my son play baseball. In this project, I am using foil iron on vinyl for the first time to add a shiny blue personalized baseball design with my son’s jersey number to a visor. This is a very quick and easy project that I completed in under one hour! The foil material was easy to work with, and my heat press worked great with the visor. Tooling and cutting leather with my Cricut Maker is something that I have wanted to do for a while. I found the perfect project for my first try! I am a Colorado hat girl and I love making my own hats with the Cricut. I found an amazing YouTube tutorial by CleverSomeday’s Kay Hall and knew that I had to try her leather tooling “Shine” hat patch project. This was a fun and exciting crafting adventure from start to finish! The detailed instructions, material list and Cricut Design Space link make this project one of the most enjoyable Cricut Projects I have done and I am loving my new trucker hat! I decided to try the Cricut watercolor markers by making two personalized birthday cards for my son. Wow, do I love the Cricut card mat!! The card mat is one of my Crafting Keepers for this project. Watercolor is such an incredibly cool art. This is my tiny little start into the watercolor world and I will say the process was extremely enjoyable!!

As a preschool special education teacher I am always carrying around a variety of fidget toys and reinforcers to use with my students. Earlier in the school year I packed up my Cricut Maker and my mini heat press and brought it to work to create some custom aprons as a team building activity. Our team created some very cute aprons to wear at work that hold everything we need for our students. Due to our ongoing staff shortages my amazing early childhood office coworkers happily volunteer each week in my Friday preschool classroom. My goal is to give each of these amazing women a custom teacher apron as a token of my appreciation for their support and help. I just finished Kate’s apron and I love how it turned out! Using heat transfer vinyl, puff vinyl and some fun SVG files I purchased from ETSY I am crafting some fun and functional teacher aprons in this weekend crafting adventure.

In this crafting adventure I am tackling decoupage with tissue paper, Mod Podge, and glass canisters. I use my Cricut Maker and rotary blade to cut the tissue paper on my fabric cutting mat. I am dressing up a few glass canisters to hold infused vodka for my husband's birthday. Infusing the vodka was just as much fun as this crafting project. Hi Crafties! I am in an earring rut! I tend to wear the same earrings every day and I am ready to make a change. I decided to make some new earrings using polymer clay cut by my Cricut machine. I thought this would be a straightforward crafting project, but I learned that there are a lot of different ways to try this crafting project. After looking at all of the information and options, I jumped in to create some new earrings. In this project, I choose very simple shapes for my earnings, nothing complicated at all. I am not a professional, I am just having some crafting fun and trying something new. I will continue to be impressed with the creativity and talent of all the artists that create beautiful handmade polymer clay earrings. In this crafting adventure, I am sharing what I learned while making some simple polymer clay earrings cut with my Cricut Maker.

We’re doing a book study, and so I thought it would be fun to make some personalized shaker bookmarks for my coworkers! In this fun crafting project episode, I will share with you my experience in making fun custom bookmarks using acetate, card stock, and glitter. I also found my favorite paper crafting glue adhesive! I have been watching all the social media coverage of etching stainless steel tumblers with Citristrip paint and varnish stripping gel and I wanted to give it a try. In this crafting adventure, I share my experience with this unique etching process. I share how I made a very simple tumbler holder that I put together with a pool noodle and cardboard tubes repurposed from my old vinyl rolls! I am glad I ordered a 6 pack of tumblers for this project because my first attempt at this etching process was a big fail! This is not a how-to but instead my honest opinion and experience about this crafting project. I can't wait to share both with you!

Inspired by my current love of word bead bracelets and thinking about Random Acts of Kindness day coming up on February 17th, I decided that I would try to engrave some metal cuff bracelets with some positive sayings. Using the Cricut quick swap housing with the engraving tip tool, I tried etching some short sayings and small designs into some aluminum bracelets. Picking out the sayings was the easy part of this project! With an abundance of information that I researched on the internet I set out to create some fun word bracelets of my own to give to my amazing friends and coworkers. I am wood-burning some rustic wood coasters with Torch Paste and my Cricut Easy Mini Press in this crafting adventure! Using the highest heat setting on my Cricut mini press and an amazing wood-burning paste, I am making some rustic wood coasters with highland cow designs burned into them. I created four different stencils using designs from Cricut Design Space. I cut the stencils out of Oracal 813 adhesive film with my Cricut Maker. Using the wood-burning paste was the highlight of this crafting project! I love how the wood looks, and the highland cow designs are perfect for the rustic coasters. Using the Torch Paste was easy, and the results are beautiful! I can't wait to share this crafty project with you!

I had so much fun doing the layered paper shadow box project last week that I decided to craft some beautiful paper flowers to put on a wreath. Valentine’s coming up, so here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make them using your Cricut. From start to finish, this was a fun crafting adventure! Even though my glue gun had a meltdown when I needed it most, I was able to use my Beacon Fabri-Tac adhesive instead, and I am thrilled with the results! Using reds, pinks and white card stock paper I craft some 3D flowers and attach them to the fabric covered craft foam wreath. I did a festive February design, but this project would be just as pretty with any color pallet for any season or occasion. Let's get started!

In this weekend crafting adventure, I am making two 3D layered cardstock paper projects. In this Cricut crafting project, I am not only exploring a few new adhesive options for paper crafts but also finding a way to bring some nature scapes into my workspace in my classroom. I thought this was going to be a fun project, but I was actually surprised at how much fun I had layering the designs and at how beautiful they turned out, especially with the addition of the battery-operated fairy lights. Do you have a cardholder wallet? In this episode, Kim Wojtalewicz shares a unique Cricut Maker project, a cardholder wallet made from eco-friendly cork fabric, in her Weekend Crafting Adventure. She was intrigued with the rolls of cork fabric that she found at a quilting store and it called her attention to craft and sew some zipper pouches and tote bags. The Cricut Maker did a beautiful job cutting the cork fabric for this project using the rotary blade. Thanks to the informational video tutorials and free SVG file from @RosiesArtStudio this project was fun, easy, and doable in a weekend. In this episode I trade in my baseball hat for some Minnie Mouse ears to share my experience making Disney fingernail decals with the Cricut Maker and using Puff Vinyl for the first time to create personalized Disney T-shirts. I made quite a few items with the Cricut for this trip but I also sew some items for the trip and I talk about all of the Disney things in this episode. I also share all of the items made and bought that my niece Alexandra and I put together and brought to Disney to "Pixie Dust" our family for the vacation. I also share some of my Disney World tips and take aways from the trip.
