"I was like, I'm doing this. And then I remembered, this is my mom's church. I was like, oh no. Anything but that, she can't be right! And then I looked at myself and I just thought how am I gonna sit in Relief Society looking like this? You can't ask me to do that. That's too much, they ask a lot of you in that church, and I don't think I could do this. But if it meant saving my children then I was all aboard. I didn't care. Nobody could push me away. Nobody could take away the fact that I was just heard and I was just saved and I didn't deserve any of it. I was an awful, awful person all the things that I did. And there was my Savior there, running into the flames to rescue me. And not only just me, but he was there to help me save my family. And so from that day on, I just vowed. I was like, that's it. This is what I'm doing.
